Again, please keep in mind.
If you play here, you ARE contributing.
Maybe not monetarily.
But you're providing part of the community.
And that's every bit as important as the cash.
How much fun, comparatively, would you have as the only person on a server?
In theory? I dunno. At what point does a passtime become a job?
And since the value of Inf is TECHNICALLY "Zero", it's not a very well-paying career choice.
Even if you were to mule for gold farmer companies. I know it's beyond MY tolerance for that sort of thing.
This is the term the way I'm using it.
Yeah. No way in hell.
Even just accommodating that much Inf would be an obnoxious hassle.
No, 100 Billion x 1000 characters is 100 trillion. I pretty certain that not even entire Chinese gold farming companies had this sort of resources.
Times THAT by 10 accounts, that's a short quadrillion. This is where we're back at that "too much of a hassle" threshold.
I'm willing to draw a line in the sand here and declare NOBODY in the history of the game had this sort of Inf resources.
It might be years, possibly never with the economy the way it is now. There simply aren't enough people in-game to support that sort of thing.
Also, the complete opening of merit-based purchases for EVERYTHING has brought a modicum of price control that was only present on live for a relatively short time.
COULD someone do it now? On HC?
Yeah...
But they'd have to play truly hardcore, and there are now limits that didn't exist previously.
Simple notification since I forgot to pull it off before the screen grabs.
-14% S/L Resist
-6% E/N/F/C/T Resist.
-8% ToHit
BETTER?
And you've been told what you got wrong.
Multiple times.
By multiple people.
So no more.
Three common ToHit IOs will push a saturated Invince on an otherwise unslotted Invuln to 58.6% ToHit.
Dropping the Gaussian in there, alone, kicks it to 88% when it procs.
And you can throw a Kismet +Acc (actually +ToHit) in there too.
Oh yes, and here's a completely unslotted Invuln with saturated Invinc.
Note: Turning Tough back on kicks up S/L Resist 20%.
Note: All these images include Resilient Core.
I WILL, however, leave this here.
As someone simply doesn't seem to realize we're talking about BASE DEFENSE here.
Me? I'm talking with ZERO ENEMIES IN RANGE.
Now, if we saturate Invincibility?
And it hits 59% all around, around 7 enemies.
I generally refer to the phenomenon as "eggshelling".
Generally quite tough. But you hit it just right and *SPLAT*.
Now, this happens less often on Tanks, compared to Brutes/etc.
