  1. Then there's no true way for you to grasp the warmth that blazes within the cockles of your heart when the enemy realizes they simply cannot defeat you, and that you're going to THOROUGHLY enjoy the next three hours as you S--L--O--W--L--Y sand off every...last...hitpoint... I pity the foo...Poor, unfortunate heathen...
  2. Honestly, just go Energy Mastery. You don't really have the slots for any additional attacks/buffs.
  3. Welcome to the Dark Side! Here's your cookies!
  4. As a drill sergeant of my used to say "Can't smoke a rock". Of course, this was in the days before general penetration of crack cocaine into the public consciousness took hold...
  5. Bah! I'm right, the rest of you are all wrong. DEAL! Feel free to continue to discuss your wrongness amongst yourselves! (Note: Totally joking on this one.)
  6. Welcome back!
  7. Ah. You think Mr. Yin is a "simple shopkeeper"...
  8. Actually, all of the are tied to The Well through Positron.
  9. WHAP! Homey don't think so! Homey don't play dat!
  10. And this is why, when I present my builds I try to present the build with minimal addition of things like Incarnates stuff. This way you know how the build itself performs. Without having to try and factor in P2W buffs and stuff.
  11. Now I'm reminded of the Dr. Loveless quote from Wild Wild West... Hard-pumpin' and indefatigably steely...
  12. The number on the blue "bar" is the level at which the power is taken. The green number at the bottom of a slot is when the slot is selected. The blue number at the top of the slot is the level of the Enhancement. To optimize when a slot is placed, do Slots/Enhancements --> Slots --> Auto-Arrange All Slots. It automatically gives you optimal slot-level selection.
  13. Keep in mind he's talking about using Incarnate boosts. So some of the stats he's talking about aren't up full-time and the default stats are lower.
  14. Empies are Empyrean Merits. They're a form of Incarnate salvage. Exemplaring is leveling down to the level of a team captain or mission. In the process, powers taken after that level are deactivated and certain types of enhancements simply stop working.
  15. Unaugmented by Meltdown, or Incarnate shields or Hybrid. Not even an Alpha in there. But Resilient would make you BEEFCAKE! BEEFCAKE!
  16. For organization of power selection? Generally, when I build, I build for exempability. Now, if you spend the entirety of your at L50 (like a farmer), it doesn't really matter. As for how you slot enhancements, that's almost an entirely personal preference. Yes, maxing out a build for damage, survivability, etc is expensive. As to cost effective? Well, depends on how easily you can accumulate wealth. Currently I'm sitting on just over 3B in Inf, 600 Empies, 240 Hero Merits, 10,000+ Reward Merits and around 6,000 Vanguard merits. Plus an unspecified number of Architect tickets.
  17. I just love the knockback game with the low level goons. *PLONK!* I CAN SEE MY GIRLFRIEND FROM HERE! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
  18. Pick your powers in level-up order. Slot things out. If you need to shuffle things around, you can actually drag powers around to swap with another power. Say you wanted to take KO Blow from Level 20 to Level 30, you simply click, hold and drag. Now if the power that's in L30 isn't available at L20, it'll immediately turn red to let you know the build is illegal. You have the tab group in the lower left-hand corner to give power info and your general total for things like Defense, Resist, Recovery, Regen and Recharge. If you want more info, click on Window --> Advanced Totals To get optimal placement for your build, once you get it built, click on Slot/Enhancement --> Slots --> Auto-Arrange. It basically packs the slot distribution. This way, instead of having an L50 slot in a L32 power, you get L33-34, etc slots. This way, if you are re-working a build, all your high-level slots go to the last powers you pick.
  19. You mean like the PVP zones?
  20. And essentially max-Resist "Blood from a Stone" Rad/Dark. Outside of Meltdown, you're capped to everything save Cold and Psi. And you're 73/77 for each of those.
  21. That doesn't mean it's stable or done properly. You can hack almost anything you want out of the code. But then you, eventually, have to clean that stuff up. I shudder to think about what the code on places like Cake looks like under the hood.
  22. You have summoned me mortal?
  23. Honestly, unless you're already rocking massive Defense, taking Resist armors on Blasters, Defenders, Corruptors, etc doesn't really pay off very well. Mainly because your caps are significantly lower and you don't really have the HP (and thus, Regen) to make it pay off effectively.
