  1. Depends on your Defense levels. If you have NO Defense, it'll help a little. But not a lot. If you have some Defense, you'll see a bit MORE benefit. If you're just sub-capped Defense, you actually see most of the benefit. If you're already capped-plus, you don't really necessarily see a lot, though it will help keep your enemy's ToHit floored out as much as possible. But actual benefit is terribly situational.
  2. In short, the answer comes down to "Personal Preference".
  3. I KNEW it! Copied out the recommendation for Unbreakable Guard and accidentally cross-posted it to another thread.
  4. Again, it all depends on the aims of your build. And this was meant as general advice. Simply looking at it as "Bonus Too Small" ignores other considerations. My main problem is I can't open the build, and thus can't really give the setup a good Once-Over.. I'm stuck on 3.46 as .47 blows up horribly and pukes everything all over the place for me. Don't know why. At this point, I can't be bothered to care anymore.
  5. Recommend changing Tough to 4x Unbreakable Guard. More Defense.
  6. You OVERCLOCK for fun. But benchmarking is simply a necessary evil.
  7. Nobody runs benchmarks for fun. Nobody runs benchmarks for productivity. You run benchmarks a couple times to make sure your system performance falls in a range you define as "acceptable". And for situations where the Mark I Eyeball is simply incapable of delivering meaningful data. Everything beyond that is simply masturbatory impulse. And you know what they say about going blind...
  8. Honestly, on latest generation wifi, the appreciable difference between wired and wifi can't really be seen outside of BENCHMARKS.
  9. Nothing says "Arrest" like "Howsabout a little FIRE Scarecrow?
  10. Do you want WITH or WITHOUT Granite? The "Without" option still has Granite. But it's not really slotted in an effective manner. And it's really set up as an(other) "Oh Shit" button in a build that's chock-full of them.
  11. Second vote for Fire/Rad. With a caveat that if you want a REAL treat, try to put together a teaming group, and do a full team of fire/rads.
  12. This assumes you're taking it for the Defense boost.
  13. It's a timing thing.
  14. Yeah, there's just something to be said for a Tank that has a nuclear bomb go off in their face, blinks, smiles, and goes right back to breaking villains; s**t.
  15. Yeah. Actually it does. I'll leave it there though. You're entitled to your opinion. Which is my object lesson.
  16. Nah. Remember, bicycles are irredeemable. Trikes? Even more so!
  17. Actually, I made one of the vids for the "Matrix Room" while still on live.
  18. That might be it...
  19. Yeah, that's the nice thing about having massive desktop space. I can shrink the CoH window and keep a copy of Mids open.
  20. Yep. When they rebuilt the exterior of City Hall, they dropped in the extra entrance. And yeah, /cleartray is a godsend.
  21. It's got a few problems. This was just a hack to see how much I could squeeze in without resorting to Rune of Protection and ignoring things like Health and Stamina... Here's a ROP build...
  22. INSTRUCTIONS! Note: This is exploiting a geometry hole to get in behind the map boundaries. At the GMs and devs discretion, this method may cease working AT ANY POINT! Use this at your own peril. Also, things like ATT and Teleport Friend style powers that require you to indicate a location DO NOT WORK out here! A character HAS TO have a form of Teleport Self (Starless Step) to do this! You should ALSO have something that let's you FLY. Otherwise you can't get there from here... 1: From Pocket D, enter the Tiki Lounge 2: Take a couple steps forward and turn around. 3: To the RIGHT of the door 4: At the ceiling, in the area between the doorway and where the Tiki Hut roof is, if you position yourself JUST RIGHT, you can find the hole. 5: Carefully place your teleport indicator THROUGH it, you'll see it pulsing on the backside. 6: Teleport through. This will leave you inside Pocket D, but outside the bounds of the Tiki lounge and under a section of roof. 7: Position yourself with the "downhill" slope of the roof in front of you. 8: Turn LEFT slightly and run until you drop down behind the walls. 9: You'll see the back of the Vault Reserve room. 10: You can fly down and get under the floor. This will wind you up OUTSIDE Pocket D and able to explore the area. Below and to the LEFT is one of the Rikti Motherships. Up and to the left from there is the square-looking asteroid with the gas station on it.
  23. For a second I read this as Invuln/Shield and was like..."That'd be cool, but having only Brawl, Kick and Shield Charge probably would make it hard to keep Aggro..."
  24. To be honest, one of the reasons I'm squeezed as much out of things like Shield and Invuln is that I'm generally a lazy player. My manual dexterity and fine motor control SUCK DISEASED MOOSE WANG. And my "skill" at playing never really grew beyond "I can Tank it!" I mean, how pathetic is it that I've Tanked a Fire/Fire/Pyre blaster on an STF/MLTF? And you know what's REALLY pathetic? I ACTUALLY MANAGED IT! Proof that God occasionally smiles on fools and other children.
  25. I could PROBABLY cap several of the Resists. But it'd likely compromise the build elsewhere. Here's just a "Just trying to max Def/Res" without really trying. https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1559&c=650&a=1300&f=HEX&dc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
