  1. Primarily for the additional Resist. But I'm one of those people who prefers to keep resting End consumption as low as possible if I can. It generally means that I can put most of my concentration into just "ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!" As for additional accuracy. You'll notice the Acc numbers are 80+ to 90% improved ALREADY. Tossing in ToHit and you aren't missing much. Could I get SLIGHTLY better numbers off Resilient? Yeah. SLIGHTLY. Neg would jump from 83 to 86 but Tox wouldn't move. The slight bump in Defense from Agility is negligible. But, with nearly-capped Resists, that becomes less important. Defense, on a Resist tank is to fend off Alpha strikes. Yes, you could realize a fractional damage increase from Musculature. Personal preference. I'd rather make my Tanks as Tanky as possible. My job is to photobomb every scene where a punch is thrown and intercept them with my face. If I can add some damage to the enemy beyond that, it's icing on the cake.

  3. You'd have to tweak the costumes anyhoo. A couple pieces flipped in the listings here and there.

Again, not what I'm saying. I'm saying don't turn up your nose at a build that isn't compromising the build's innate integrity to make it something else.

Sorry, but you're just plain wrong. Is DDR-less Defense LESS useful than Defense on something rocking DDR? Yes! Is it "useless"? I'm just going to look at you funny and tell you "Of course not!" Yes, in debuff heavy content, it goes away fast. But NOT instantaneously. You still have to be hit in the first place. During which time it is doing its job. The rest of the time, think of it as an ablative shield. It takes the first few initial strikes, generally the worst enemies can chuck at you. After that, it gets "worn away". Things like this are why I generally push for LAYERED mitigation. So foregoing Resistance on a Resist-based build is moronic. It leads to "eggshelling". But simply IGNORING areas where you can acquire it without compromising other things? That'd be like me telling you to forego regen/heals because it's not a form of damage mitigation. Technically true (it's NOT mitigation), but totally missing the point about basic utility.

Unfortunately no. The secondary, and its distribution of ST/PBAOE/and Targeted AOE DO influence how a build can be realized.
  7. Keep getting malformed build outputs (see above) with 3.4.6. Can't patch because the patch mechanism just fails spewing permissions errors, regardless of if I take a default install or if I install to a custom directory where permissions issues SHOULD NOT be at issue.. Can't download a version with the latest patch from midsreborn.com Can't log into Github to start a report because it won't let me register ANY of my personal e-mail addresses. And I'm not going to bitch incessantly at someone in Discord. I love the product dearly. But the problems is harshing my mellow more than a little bit. Thank you for the product in the first place. And sorry to sound whiny about it. It's one of my favorite and most used pieces of personal software, and these kinds of "gotcha" bugs that I can't resolve without a debugger makes my skin creep. And on me, that's a LOT of creeping...

    A possible starting point:
  9. Well! At least you put that space in there! *BADUM BUM TISH!*
  10. Forgive me if this sounds rude. But if you've skipped Rage, why did you take SS? Rage-less SS is "meh" at best. If you want something with the feel of SS, but you don't want to deal with the Rage mechanics, go Street Justice. Also, there are other things you can do for that 10 seconds. Taunt, Heal, and you know Nemesis Staff, Blackwand, Ghost Slaying Axe and Sands of Mu all still work without the -DMG.
  11. Welcome home. Now we've got this problem with criminals. START WHUPPIN' ASS!
  12. Get screenies of your enhancement screen. It can be rebuilt relatively easy that way. The higher res, the better (so we can tell which enhancements are which).
  13. I discovered someone using this on one of my hardware forums. I was all ***PROUD PAPA!***
  14. Dark isn't a "pure resist" set. It's a hybrid.
  15. I love Fire. My Fire/Fire Tank is an engine of destruction.. But my Elec/Elec is just a total BEAST. And I still love my Claws/Electric Brute. No longer an optimal farmer. But still gets MASSIVE butt whipped.
  16. Especially when the Defense is sitting on top of numbers that're nominally identical to the Rad. I tend to look at maxed out, Resist-centric builds as "Blood from a Stone" type builds. I've done it with Elec. I've done it with Fire. I've done it with Rad.
  17. Mo Durable (Minimum) Mo Durable (Maximum) Build found here:
  18. Initially. No. But the build's Recovery was such, I dumped Energy Mastery,
  19. Initially, I tried the "Just add Defense. You haven't put enough Defense in your Defense" with Rad/Rad. I was getting murdalized early on in the RWZ. So I went and rebuilt along the lines of a Resist-centric setup with a thin layer of sacrificial Defense atop it. Regen just kinda happened naturally. #BeastMode. My initial tries were fairly scary. Working with friends on builds to see how much I could squeeze out:
  20. If you have that much trouble getting compressed air. https://www.amazon.com/Compressed-Air-Duster-3-0-Pressurized/dp/B0B5L2RR9D/
  21. I don't have a machine in front of me, but Vega3 should be fully compatible.
  22. The difference between direction, and education.
  23. Okay, not a fan of using Flying on Invuln. Also, REALLY not a fan of Unstoppable. It's simply a suicide button with a 3 minute countdown. Here's a quick and dirty "how I'd do it". Basically, puts you at Incarnate Soft Cap in a full group. Gives you decent ancillary Resists. Nice Recharge. Plenty of Recovery. Note: This is an end-game build.
  24. And just so long as it's not the Mark Wahlberg cover...
