Basically, in terms of durability, Stone still is the Gold Standard in terms of "toughness" in the generic "you can't hurt me" sense. All around Defense, Resist and Regen. But there are sizeable compromises in terms of damage output. In terms of maximum toughness and general balance, Invuln and Shield are the ACTUAL Gold Standard. Maximizing toughness and damage output/utility.

Haven't been able to play enough to pass judgement. Have been VERY time-constrained for most of 2022. (And NO, that does NOT make me a happy Tanker.)

This is why I pretty much stop at *Named Armor Type*/Anything.

Yep. I have Elec, Fire and Rad Armor Tanks and Brutes. They're absolute murder machines (yes, they kill you slowly, that just adds to the horror as their vengeance is INEVITABLE).

Pretty much Invuln/Anything and Shield/Anything are solid foundations for a fully hybridized Def/Res tank. Fire/Elec/Rad are great for Res-dominant builds. I don't really play Dark a lot and don't care for Bio on a purely cosmetic basis. So I'm unqualified to really deep-dive on either.

Gonna disagree with you. Sure, unmanaged Twitter, is end-stage colorectal cancer. The point is, instead of cramming down a minority's opinions on everyone (and lots of under the hood shady dealings), all the power is put in the user's hands. Don't like what's being said? Kurgan: BRUTE! And you can do an alt costume, headless, for "Beheaded Kurgan"!

I haven't done actual farming in several years. No time. Are Claws/Elec Brutes still relevant?

Honestly I find KM a nice CONCEPTUAL mix of a set. In practice, it plays kinda slow. Yes, I know, it claims to be "light and fast". In reality, the animations make it feel really chunky.

Primarily for the additional Resist. But I'm one of those people who prefers to keep resting End consumption as low as possible if I can. It generally means that I can put most of my concentration into just "ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!" As for additional accuracy. You'll notice the Acc numbers are 80+ to 90% improved ALREADY. Tossing in ToHit and you aren't missing much. Could I get SLIGHTLY better numbers off Resilient? Yeah. SLIGHTLY. Neg would jump from 83 to 86 but Tox wouldn't move. The slight bump in Defense from Agility is negligible. But, with nearly-capped Resists, that becomes less important. Defense, on a Resist tank is to fend off Alpha strikes. Yes, you could realize a fractional damage increase from Musculature. Personal preference. I'd rather make my Tanks as Tanky as possible. My job is to photobomb every scene where a punch is thrown and intercept them with my face. If I can add some damage to the enemy beyond that, it's icing on the cake.

Again, not what I'm saying. I'm saying don't turn up your nose at a build that isn't compromising the build's innate integrity to make it something else.
