  1. I don't know the answer to your question, but Yeet Lazer is my new favorite powerset.
  2. It used to be Ion Judgment. It is now currently Infiltration, with ninja run animation.
  3. I'd like it if scrappers had a taunt effect. It should be light, and not something that would take aggro away from a tank or brute, but it should be good enough to keep mobs in melee range when soloing. While you can cope with minion/LT runners with ranged epic pool powers, not everyone takes those. I'm also pretty sure if we think hard enough, we can find thematic reasons for all secondaries to have them. SR's, for example, could be that the bad guy gets enraged because HE JUST CAN'T HIT YOU. However, while I would rather have one added, I believe that I am firmly in the camp of "Every secondary gets one, or none of them do." I'm sure that many of you can refute this position with many cogent arguments, but that's where I'm at on the subject. PS: Upon further review, someone had the idea for a taunt aura in the presence pool. That might be best for everyone. If they want it, invest in it. If they don't, don't.
  4. Well, while I stepped away to feed my cats in between Hamidon raids, I got a tell from GM_Impervium telling me that dual boxing in the hive is not allowed. After informing them that I wasn't, I was told that I and another player were using the same IP. I explained that I don't know how that was, and received "I don't buy it, one of you has to log off or leave or I'll boot you." I chose to leave, and told them I didn't like the accusation. After checking his logs, it appeared he made a mistake, and yes he apologized, but honestly it was too late for me this evening. There's a good chance I had a bad day and am overreacting. I'll own that, but maybe next time do your homework before handing out the threats.
  5. Don't remove Founders Falls. FF is a great hub that has Vanguard, Pocket D, Midnighter Club etc. This weakens that hub idea.
  6. A customizable sidekick pet would be dope af. Especially if you were able to choose archetype/powersets etc.
  7. I don't know. Granite essentially removes the necessity of most of Stone Armor's other powers, though there are drawbacks (That I feel are slowly being walked back as the game evolves). Maybe there's some logic to a toggle that sort of overrides the rest of the set. I main an MA/SR Scrapper, I'm over the soft cap at all times, but I also keep Elude in my pocket because reasons. I don't know if pvp is the carrot that would make me use it more often, but then, I dont know what else would either.
  8. Zapp from Mu Mastery is not entering "combat mode" on my Scrapper, by which I mean to say that when engaged with an enemy, there is no orange ring around the power, nor any "fast mode." It only functions as the old school, stand there and don't get hit or you'll get interrupted type of snipe. I don't know if it's a bug or WAI, but I don't like it. I like the fast version available in combat, with the flexibility to use the normal version as a harder hitting snipe when out of combat and at a distance. Please fix!
  9. Looks like the bug where the costume stance would revert to normal upon zoning or logging on/off has been fixed. I checked logging on/off, zoning, and changing builds and it seems to be working as designed. Awesome job guys. I think Infiltration is now my favorite travel power, but using the ninja run stance with Super Jump is a close second! I know you guys are getting beat up on other strings, but little customization details like this go a long way towards making people happy and helping them fill out their vision of their character. Being able to move a little faster, jump a little higher, be a little sneakier, while using less endurance is just an added performance bonus 🙂
  10. Damn son, we just got filibustered.
  11. I like the toggles, I like the passives. They're easy to slot set bonuses (bonii?) into. Good ones. I might suggest making the scaling resistance enhancable. It'd cost slots, but it'd increase survivability by making your Resistances higher with more hit points left. I'm on the fence about Practiced Brawler. I prefer to have attacks on auto, not defenses. Yeah I can easily add it to my keybind for Target_enemy_near easy enough, and that works....but I just don't like it and would prefer the Practiced Brawler/Master Brawler option from the Sentinel version, which I'm pretty sure is a hard "No." Maybe....if Practiced Brawler gave us some Resistance, we could all slot our Steadfast Protection, Gladiator's Armor, and Unbreakable Guard enhancements without having to take Tough. God, I've never even activated Tough.) I like Quickness. I think that giving it run, jump, and fly speed to it isn't out of order, or allowing it to take universal travel sets. (If I remember right, letting us slot Celerity Stealth made things like escort missions way difficult, hence my omission of Run/Jump/Fly speed sets). Elude. I love this power. Do I need it? In the age of soft capped builds, I do not need this power for defense (Exception: lots of defense debuffs The Winter Queen I think, springs to mind). But when the fit hits the shan, I hit it, and I'm faster and I dont run out of endurance. So maybe we need to redefine the concept. I know that with Elude, I was able to get the gold medal on the ski course. I know that with Elude, I can hit the speed cap and keep up with Super Speedsters. And that's awesome, and there's a certain thematic symmetry: We have Passive defenses, and Toggle defenses, why not a passive speed power (Quickness) and straight up clone Infiltration as a toggle speed power? It could be the opposite of Granite. Their t-9 toggle makes them slow, ours could make us fast as hell.
  12. Storm Kick's +def is currently only available for brutes and tankers, but would be most welcome to scrappers and stalkers, even at a reduced amount of 5% (Tankers get 10%, Brutes 7.5%). I also don't mind giving us the Blaster animation version, but let's port ours to them too. I think the answer we landed on last time we had this discussion for Storm Kick was that adding a cone to it would have a commensurate impact on its recharge time, its damage, and its end cost, and I definitely don't like that. I like the idea, but i don't wanna pay for it 😛 I do however support adding a cone to Crippling Axe Kick. I believe t's alternate animation is already similar/the same as the Fighting Pool's Cross Punch, so I feel that this is not an unnatural change. The activation times are close (1.6 vs 1.67 seconds), and Cross Punch recharges faster than CAK, so we Martial Artists could get the cone, make it animate slightly slower, keep the longer recharge and higher damage, and call it close-ish to even. Other thoughts: Thunder Kick: Dear Tankers, I'm sorry you're stuck with this, and that they weren't able to make it so you could skip it without breaking the whole game. Maybe we should ask if we can swap your primary and secondary without changing any of the math of your Archetype so you guys can. And maybe give it an alternate animation like Brawl. Cobra Strike: since they rebalanced this in retail and added the sweet uppercut, this one is good to go. Crane Kick: with the addition of KB to KD, this one is good to go. I don't mind the KB, I use this power at the end of my attack chain or when I see that a mob's health is low enough to get finished off by it, and I rather enjoy watching a defeated enemy ragdoll off and not get back up. Especially when they get caught in a blue glowy wall on an outside map or on a fence. Dragon's Tail: I like this power too. I'd like to see the damage be a bit more, maybe equal to Storm Kick just for my OCD purposes. Again, I don't mind KB/KD, but a lot don't. Maybe changing to knockup instead is the answer? Oh, and a sweet ground punch alternate animation wouldn't suck either. Eagle's Claw: I want to like this power, I do. I like the animation. I like the alternate animation. But all the math I've read says it's not the most efficient for attack chains. Maybe if it did more damage, or did more damage coming out of stealth, or stunned harder, or recharged faster, or had a guaranteed crit, I don't know. I don't have the answer to this one guys. Warrior's challenge/Warriors Provocation: an alternate Martial Artsy Animation could set this apart from good old taunt/confront. I'm sure there's several emotes or powers that could be tapped for this. Focus Chi: something different. It's Build up, which is thematic (Hello, Iron Fist), and maybe with another martial artsy emote it could be more appealing to me, but I also like the idea of a ranged attack option like a hadouken or a throwing star (Hello, Focus, Hurl Boulder, and Throw Spines ) or a two-fer that is a light attack that gives a bonus to damage and to hit for a brief time (Hello, Follow up and Blinding Feint). Or maybe something with a click and a longer duration and a crash where you are tired and slower after using your chi to wreck something (Hello, Rage). With that said, I think there's room for Martial Arts to do cool stuff for other powers too. Storm Kick's alternate animation is basically the Boxing power from Fighting, why not give Boxing Storm Kick's and call the alternate animation "Kickboxing?" Air Superiority is begging for Cobra Strike's uppercut animation. It even does knockup! I'd straight up change to Air Superiority for that alone lol. (Author's note: in I8, when Cobra Strike sucked, I did actually use Air Superiority in my chain. It was really good for mitigation) This is just off the top of my head. I may add more later if I give it more thought.
  13. I tried /nin. It didn't feel as sturdy as SR. I liked the +end and the heal clicks, but i fill those gaps on SR with temp powers that do the same thing. The main draw for me with /nin was the movement speed, but that's being changed with the new page on beta sooo.... A lot of folks call SR a one trick pony, but it isn't. I think that the scaling resistances are a big deal. if you can grab 15% resistance to all through set bonuses/tough, then at 40% hit points you're at the scrapper resist cap, while at the defense soft cap, and with some accolades and other set bonuses, that 40% number is pretty good (My scrapper has 2007 hit points.). I rock a rebirth regen destiny slot, and the defense/scaling resist/regen gives me some *really* good layered mitigation. Nin just felt way more fragile to me the entire time I played it. Even when built out to the soft cap, I got sent to the hospital *way* more often than with SR.
  14. It also reverts to inherent->Original upon zoning as well.
  15. On brainstorm, when using the costume creator using the Inherent tab->stance->ninja stance (Travel powers only) it works properly, activating and deactivating the stance when you toggle on and off the travel powers, however when you log off, the costume reverts to Original and you have to go back in and change the costume to activate the stance again.
  16. !!!!!! Inherent > Stance Added Ninja, Beast and Slide Travel Power Only customization options Selecting one of these options will cause the stance to only become active if any of the following powers are active: Super Speed Speed of Sound Super Jump Mighty Leap Infiltration This is awesome!!!! You guys absolutely rule!!!!!!
  17. Hey, thanks for answering. We can always get around it with costume and stance switches too. Appreciate the answer tho.
  18. Hey, with this change, I really like that you can select the regular Fly animation with Hover. Hover Added new customization themes that allows you to remove the hover animation But since you can now change the Hover animation to be the same as for Fly, could you also conceivably change Super Speed, Infiltration, Super Jump, Sprint, etc to have alternate options so that we could activate Super Speed but have Ninja Run animation, Infiltration but have Slide animation, Super Jump but have Beast Run animation, and so on? This could make it so instead of changing a stance under the inherent tab and being stuck in Beast Run mode all the time, I could change it in a travel power and only be in that stance when that travel power is activated! (I know I asked on the old thread, but they opened this new one and locked the old one. Thanks.)

  20. Winger. She's only seventeen (seventeen!)...
  21. Mystery solved! Thanks for clearing it all up for me.
  22. Truthfully i never noticed that 4 second drop with sprint and ninja run happening on live. Ill check when i get home.
  23. Did we ever get an answer to if the travel portion of infiltration dropping when in combat like the stealth and defense portions was a bug or working as intended? Sorry, there's a lot of pages to this thread.
  24. So....to be clear. We're upset that New Fly is slower than New Super Speed and New Super Leap when....Old Fly is slower than Old Super Speed and Old Super Leap? And the issue is during MSRs, fliers are slower than other travel powers? The same way it is now? Especially when a *lot* of those fliers are using jet packs because most of the city (according to some posters) get by on PTW travel powers and not the Travel Pool powers because (checks notes) Travel Pools are superfluous with the PTW store? On live, I use fly. It's certainly slower than people with SS and SJ. I get a few licks in on a pylon, like everyone else. A lot of people are built to solo pylons. I can. Get a few of those guys together and a pylon crumbles quick. And if you're that far behind....you still know where the league is gonna end up. Is...is it me?
