  1. Seems like its OP actually at least for stalkers who have the better armor sets. Not sure its still worth taking though.
  2. True enough. Because if Single Rage solution were a true option, they could just make it work like Hasten, which doesn't stack.
  3. Truth ... Witness Squirrel Girl
  4. What does body Superman mean?
  5. There is a way to sneak around while being literally on fire. I don't see a thematic reason to do this to make stalkers "quiet" However annoying sounds are annoying, and should be removed on principle.
  6. Id consider both those groups geeks. A NERD would know both fleets of spacecraft would overheat and melt before firing a shot. Then would point to The Atomic Rockets website where this problem is discussed at length.
  7. If you want to just use SOs/Generic IOs and still mainly solo, then play a Tanker. If you want to just use SOs/Generic IOs and just team, you can play whatever, but something with range will probably be more fun. Since you'll need to make sure you stay with the Leadership bubbles of effect, and Defender's LOS and so on. However I don't see where money is the main limiter. I solo'd every Arc at +0/x1 from 1-50 and just bought converters and sold them with my merits, and made over 500 million INF. Which is plenty for a mid-range build. The Irony is that EA with fighting is a great set for even a low end IO build. Since if you get the two +3% defense, and add in 4 Kinetic combat sets, you should be past softcap all the time for S/L. Of course INV and WP would be pretty decent with the same. Trying to make Regen good with no IO sets? AND skipping some of the powers? 3 slot the self rez power for recharge I guess.
  8. Not sure any non tanker set is good on just SOs
  9. Lol at EA being second tier. It used to be 3rd tier. But its all better now. You need the fighting pool to make to shine of course, but thats all sets on non tankers anyway.
  10. Nope. Regen got fixed a long time ago. They started by changing the effects from Green to Yellow, then they named it Willpower.
  11. Be excellent to each other.
  12. Kate is pretty much comics Kate minus her young avengers seasoning. So I think they did her pretty well. She kind of has to do double duty quips though, since MCU Clint isnt quipy which differs from his main continuity counterpart.
  13. ATO mezz protect proc in one of your AOEs
  14. Nice. Self nerfing Regen
  15. Being a shambling rock covered monolith is almost as sneaky as being on fire.
  16. It does offer more +dmg though
  17. Yes, I remember you mentioning. I wonder if one of the reasons The Witcher TV series turned out good, is that the witcher books are short and simplistic compared to something like Wheel of Time, making adapting easier.
  18. Maybe its a good thing they didn't want to do Elric after all ...
  19. Why bother having it in Season 2 though? My guess now is they will skip Book 2 entirely, and move onto Books 3 and 4 for Season 2. If they even do book 4 at all. They already skipped Caemlyn in Book 1, and outside of Mat's delivering a letter for Elayne nothing really happens to the 5 main POV characters in Caemlyn until several books later. The alternate timeline stuff shouldn't be a crutch though. I guess Sanderson knew A LOT had changed and wanted to preempt some criticism. Not everything that has been changed would be hard to show on screen. Since a lot of the stuff they are skipping so far is dialog and character development. Probably to keep the tension and action levels higher.
  20. Of course who knows? They have already changed so much way more than I have mentioned. They have altered Perrin a lot. He's practically a werewolf in this version.
  21. Depends on how much of it they keep and if they change a lot of it. In the books his story is slow to develop, but by the end he is a wonderful character. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-XOgKE1QiDZQ/VKDCe0Z5VOI/AAAAAAAAJyo/UaBLeBul2Y0/s1600/Mat%2BCauthon%2B2.jpg He is the scoundrel of the group. Irreverent, unrepentant, with no respect for any authority. He is a gambler, carouser, and a reluctant hero.
  22. yeah they sure didn't cleave closely to the books.
  23. While new MMOs are really common. They are not really what MMOs were 15-20 years ago. More like single player games you can occasionally team up with.
  24. Listened to Eye of the World at work today .. as a narrative it is so much better than the TV series, at least the first half is. Of course it took 11 hours just to get to Shadar Logoth (or Episode 3 in this series) As to the TV series it really looks to me like they are going to continue skipping whole swaths of the Narrative. To a much greater extent than Game of Thrones did. So far they skipped Berelain plus Min, Bayle Domon and the Spray. Rand, Matt and Thom's story in Whitebridge seems to have been moved to some random farm. Perrin and Egwene meeting Elyas. Meanwhile they completely changed Logain's story AND how shielding channelers works. I get the impression they are going to skip Caemlyn and combine that story with Tar Valon somehow. Which would suggest to me skipping the Second Half of Eye and first bit of The Great Hunt. The world also feels much more empty than the one in the Books. Maybe that is a budget decision. I mean making one city that you have to have throughout the series is cheaper than making two, since you wouldn't then need Caemlyn until much later. But 10 million per episode .. smdh. This stuff is painful on a few levels. First, its cutting out some good parts of the story. Second, are we just going to get a big character dump in Tar Valon? Min, Elayne, Galad, Gawan, Bayle, Loial. Plus all the Aes Sedi?
