Scrapper Dragon's Tail is necessary for a MA to be "best" I do have a 50+ MA Stalker but I re-rolled Street Justice.

The reason there is so much overlap is they weren't originally intended to team together. If Scrapper damage seems a little low to you, play War Mace or Titan Weapons for a while.

Honorverse Extended lifespans. Extremely advanced medical tech. They have full hologram entertainment tv/movies and w/e. They eat normal food. Most people have middle class lifestyle (ymmv) People have the right to vote. There is freedom of expression. Near universal access to education. Warfare does its best not to target civilians. Mostly all happens in space. Most of the crapsack world stuff are on the fringes. There are no world gobbling space anomalies or homicidal alien zombie cyborgs, etc.

This is why I suggested if Superman's handwaving source of Energy had come along a few decades later than it had .. instead of Solar they probably would have gone with something like "Zero Point Energy" At least picking some source where supposedly there is enough Energy available there. Where Solar there is not, not even in the abstract.

Super-Verses FTL speeds tend to move at the speed of the plot. Most Sci-Fi verses also. Superman takes years to travel from Krypton to Earth in an FTL spacecraft. Green Lantern can fly to Krypton using a ring he more or less found in a crackerjack box during a commercial.

The Psychic thing is kind of beside the point. Unless mind powers do not require Energy? Same goes for Denser Muscles. They still require the same amount of Energy to do work. The Basic equations for Work perform for lifting a Tank 10 feet in the air are the same whether a forklift does it or A Super Powered Mouse. Even if the latter saves the day.

Damn. I mean I'm used to Invul guys harping on Willpower unjustly as being too weak. But this Invul being too weak thing .. this is a new one.

Yeah but .. My Issue isn't with the Powers ... Its with the Power. The Sun's energy is too dispersed. Given the feats he performs that we are shown, he would run out of Energy far faster than he could recover it. Lifting a Tank, Killing people with Laser Beam Eyes and so on should be fairly Energy Intensive. A plant for example is roughly 2% Efficient at converting the sun's energy to usable energy. The tree doesn't do all that much to burn up its Energy so this works- it can store it as sugars. Then something eats the sugar and gains Energy at a much faster rate. Gasoline is Solar Energy too. Originally coming from Plants just like food. Just far far more concentrated by Time and Pressure, etc. But even if Supes ran on pure gasoline he still wouldn't have anywhere near enough Energy to do the things he does. The only explanations for his actual Energy Expenditure would involve some sort of mass to energy conversion. Maybe the Solar Power is needed to trigger the Fusion Reactor in Supe's core. Either that or he ate too many Metropolis Chili Dogs.

I think at the time the idea started Solar Power wasn't very well understood. Therefore they could get away with a lot. Now its just legacy dumbness. Kind of like Green Lantern and the color Yellow. If Superman had come along a lot later they would have handwaved his power as coming from Zero Point Energy or something instead. Which although equally ridiculous has the advantage of being much more cryptic.

You know with the insane numbers you can get with Energy Drain. You could probably skip the Energy Cloak if you wanted. I've seen some Brutes that do this.

This seems moot now TBH. Super Strength is simply better on Tankers than Brutes now, due to the increase in tanker Base Damage. And Tankers can much more easily survive this crash.

I haven't bothered plugging the Psi hole on my EA stalker. It never seems to matter. Psi seems to be the least painful hole out there.

Secondary to this conversation. This is Lulz. When this game came out I wasn't even 35. Now I'm nearly 50.

Well more like what it "should" be maybe. Since it currently is what its "supposed" to be. They proposed splitting the def and adding resist debuff and it was killed by naysayers though.

The def crash existed on live It just got overwrote by raging again. So you never saw it unless slowed, or unenhanced, etc.

200 or 300 years of Sun absorbing on the beach between Comic Arcs I guess. Depending on if he was going to be flying or not. When we did the math for the Carts it was about a week charging for an hour of driving. I used to design Solar Panels. Electric Golf Carts are real Energy Pigs. This could maybe work for you if you lived on a course and had your own cart, but was useless for Club Carts. Maybe we could just plug Supes in for faster charging.

Its not so much The Space Flying thing its the available Energy thing. The Sun puts out a huge amount of Energy. Enough actually that if Supes could actually use it somehow given the constraints of Human shaped Physiology and Physics etc, maybe he could be Super and stuff. Something like 170 Pettawatts of Sunlight hits the Earth. But How does he collect it? There's the problem. He isn't Earth Sized. And making him Earth Sized just adds more problems. You think your arms feel heavy after a set of 25 pound curls NOW? Wait till your wrists weigh a billion tons each. A human sized box of Sun Power just isn't very much really. Actually its pretty pitiful. A lot of people want Solar Powered Golf Carts. But there is no way to power a traditional Golf Cart with only the available area on its roof. That's why Solar Race Cars look like Airplane Wings and have the Density of Styrofoam. You could maybe power the radio of a Gasoline Powered Golf Cart when the motor is off or something .. This isn't just a Supes problem. He is just the biggest offender given he is so Powerful. Ironman used to be Solar Powered for a while. Which was just as ridiculous. Well equally impossible but a fraction in scale of Impossible.

The problem with the UV thing is there isn't enough Energy there. Too much is absorbed by the Ozone Layer. Maybe we can save Supes by bringing back CFCs in a big way. Well Big Hair 10 Cans of Aqua Net Way. Don't forget this version ... Also as you mentioned and the great Tony Iommi and Dio told us in Heaven and Hell .. The Moon is just the Sun at night .. Therefore maybe Supes is like a Battery he has to store it all from the daytime.
