Yes. You even talk to him in the Last Bastion arc. And he was one of the big opponents we were supposed to fight as part of the incarnate plot. It hasn't been a decade in game though. The problem with making a gold side EAT is the progression breaks. The whole point of the gold side content we play at the low levels is our Praetorian character is dealing with life prior to everything that happened in the iTrials. The point of the mission that sends our character to Primal Earth that becomes available at level 20 is Praetoria cannot be saved. It goes through everything that happens in the iTrials including the non-iTrial missions where your character goes to Praetoria to retrieve Praetorians that are about to die for mission given reason and get them out of Praetoria before Hamidon finishes leveling it. You even see many Seeds of Hamidon, Avatars of Hamidon, and tentacles bigger than the skyscrapers of the city obliterating Praetoria. In the Last Bastion arc you find out that Last Bastion is exactly that. The last holdout of humanity in Praetorian Earth. Even First Ward sets up the inevitable doom with the constant Seed of Hamidon presence. (Like with Last Bastion, Hamidon is not bothering to wipe out First Ward because he at that time has an agreement with Tyrant and it is not a bastion of human strength waiting to oppose him. When Hamidon mobilizes to stomp Praetoria after the Underground iTrial, with its lack of sonic fencing and IDF, First Ward dies quickly. That is why you see Carnival of Light being held at gun point in Grandville when you do some of the interlinked missions. Better to flee into Arachnos' hands where who knows what might happen to you than stay in Praetoria where you know exactly what is going to happen to you.) What makes First Ward special is that it faces doom even before Hamidon goes to erase it with the merging with the Spirit Realm and Selene unleashing the Talons of Vengeance. So unlike the rest of Praetoria, First Ward faces extinction before the rest does. After the Night Ward arcs though? First Ward still dies. You can go to First Ward, just like you can go to Praetoria City itself, but those are considered time travel then. You went back in time to see Praetoria as it was before it was wiped out. Are you talking pre-iTrials or post-iTrials? Edit: Don't get me wrong. Last Bastion is an excellent point to launch a reclamation of Praetoria story line. It just doesn't give a place for gold side EATs still since it would most likely be incarnate content. And the pre-iTrial gold side content doesn't give room for gold side EATs either. How would you maintain the EAT story line when the player gets to choose whether to be a hero or a villain when going to Primal Earth? HEATs lose access to their story line while being villains and VEATs lose access to their story line while being heroes. And the PEATs would have the complication of gold siders are meant to transition to red or blue siders at the player's discretion, so how would those alignments work for the PEATs?

Night Ward stops expanding after you complete the arcs. It stabilizes as it is, with First Ward still there and itself, but the merging of the Praetorian Earth and the Spirit Realm has been stopped. What isn't addressed in the arcs is how or if the Drudges are able to resume moving souls to their next destination.

Right. Forgot that. Thanks.

I just did the Hand Delivered Message tip mission, Warn Silent Blade Rogue version. And a really fun thing happened after I defeated the second KoA boss. The Longbow that were in the next room decided they didn't like each other and one spawn killed the other spawn. It was over too fast for me to get any popcorn or soda, but I don't think they are supposed to just suddenly turn on each other like that? Map in question where it happened is: Zone/Mission: V_Abandoned_Office_30_Layout_09 Position: [257.3 0.0 119.3]

Auto kick out of mission AFK players at the end of mission
Rudra replied to DrRocket's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
There are some missions that have a timer to exit everyone when the objective(s) is(are) done, but that is only for very specific missions. I don't think that is what the OP is talking about. -
I don't remember ever getting xp for defeating her....

Okay, you really need to clarify what you are asking for. IOs that can extend how far an AoE can go? Slot any with a range component. However, if you are asking for an IO that expands the AoE radius? Probably never going to happen. Those radii and max number of targets the AoE powers can affect is part of their balance consideration. IOs that can extend the duration of a hold but not increase its magnitude? Any hold enhancement. IOs that can simply increase the magnitude of said holds? Slot the proc. It is a proc because of how the game works mechanically. IOs that extend the duration of a debuff? Slot any appropriate IO for that debuff. IOs that make those debuffs stronger? What part of the debuffs exactly are you looking to make stronger? IOs that make powers last longer? We already have those for the mezzes and debuffs. What exactly are you asking for? IOs that turn ST attacks into AoEs? Never going to happen. That takes the powers' balance considerations and throws them out the window.

Auto kick out of mission AFK players at the end of mission

I have never encountered this mechanic. Anyone willing to enlighten me? -
"In the old days", Scrappers and Tankers both got click powers and toggles. It depended on the power set. So what are you talking about? Also: Tankers toggles got dropped but Scrapper toggles didn't? Toggles are toggles regardless of what AT may be using it. So again, what are you talking about? The advantage of a click defensive power over a toggle defensive power is that you can stack them. You can't stack your toggles because they are either on or off. Click powers have their duration and if you can trigger it again during that duration, you get double the effect. (Edit: Except for those powers that replace their effect rather than stack....)

There is a difference between asking for something new or asking for a change to something that already exists as opposed to asking for what we already have to be duplicated for the sake of a name. Even Katana and Broadsword are not duplicates of each other. One is a two-handed weapon approach and the other is a one-handed. As opposed to asking for a way to make something we already do in game. Edit: Now if you were asking for a new version with a different style? Then I would agree with you. Just asking to be able to make one-piece swimsuits for females though? We already can.
-
Yes. If the game gets confused and tries to generate doors for more than one character, it will typically try to do that for all the characters. So say you're on a team of 8 with all 4 alignments equally represented. You wouldn't get 4 door choices, you would get 8 because the game has its version of a mental breakdown.

Female bathing suit bottom: Bikini or athletics shorts under Bottoms with Skin depending on what you are going for. Female bathing suit top: BIkini, strapless, or whatever else completes the look you are looking for. (Edit: Unless you want a wetsuit. Then you just use tights for the top and bottom.) You know what adding Bathing Suit Bottom and Bathing Suit Top would do? Duplicate what we already have. It isn't a pretty chunky kludge, it is how the game is designed. You take the elements the game has and you combine them to make what you want. Edit again: Take Strapless from the Tops with Skin for instance. What is it? Well, if paired with the bikini bottom, it is a strapless one-piece swimsuit. Paired with a skirt, it is a strapless dress. Paired with pants, it's a strapless top worn with pants or a strapless bodysuit with pants worn over it. What about Cybertech? Well, now you have a cybertech swimsuit, dress, or other outfit. Take your pick. Tank top? You have a tank top style one-piece swimsuit, or you are wearing a tank top shirt with your skirt or pants. Make what you want rather than expect the devs to make it for you.

It can if the game breaks for one member having a conflicting alignment. At which point the game can then just do so for everyone involved. Not saying it did, just that it can.

And asked for those specific powers and that specific damage type. And fails to have punctuation and the correspoding capitalization in the same manner. Makes the exact same arguments. Posts multiple pictures without explanation in the same way. And gee.... (Edit: Oh yeah, and wants new damage type that has no resistances in the game, And calls for adding secondaries to paired with damage exactly like it already is in multiple powers sets that already exist like it doing -DEF as well as its damage just like Radiation Blast does. Or attacks that drain resources like how Electrical Blast does. Wants the magic set to ignore target armor just like KingCedd03 does. Using debilitation and status effects to control the battle like other sets do. Wants gravity and time powers as if they don't already exist, calling it the province of magic just like KingCedd03 does. How long should I make this list anyway?) (Edit again: I mean, I know @Luminara said that people have distinctive writing styles and mannerisms that makes them identifiable on the forums. But I never really believed it until now.)
-
My apologies. I wanted to be sure. Thanks.

I'm not the only one noticing that Wingslord24 is using the exact same arguments and is spamming the costume thread with pictures without any references for what specifically in those pictures (s)he/they want just like KingCedd03 did, am I?

As has been brought up on the previous threads for the same thing, a new primary that uses magic animations but is called something not pigeon-holed, like Primal Forces, Chaos, or whatever is fine. Getting spellcasting animations for existing power sets is also fine. However, neither of those options is acceptable by those asking for a magic set. They specifically want it called magic, eldritch, arcane, sorcery, or something else with magic animations. I don't think anyone has issues with a new power set that uses magic-esque animations. We can always request less magic-esque animations. No one that I am aware of is complaining about having something like a Staff Blast set where you wield a staff to fire the set's powers, or a Wand Blast set where you wield a wand to fire the set's powers. Those of us against are specifically against something like a Magic Blast set however. And those in favor will only accept a Magic Blast set.

When you log your new character into Atlas Park, walk into City Hall and go down the stairs. There are five offices down there with names that tell you what origin they are for. Walk into any office and talk to the contacts inside. They will give you the original contact path. You can do this for any of the five origin offices regardless of your origin, so you can do them all if you want. Though you will need to turn off XP to do so.
-
You can already make non-bikini swimsuits for females in the game. I'm going through the character creator to check options, and these make standard one-piece swimsuits. For the bottom, you use a bikini bottom. For the top, you use one of the Cybertechs, Frost, Jungle Sheer, one of the Keyholes, Mod, Strapless, or Tank Top. For a non-standard one-piece, choose something else. For a wetsuit or surfer outfit, choose one of the ones with sleeves with Athletic Shorts.
-
Since magic is an origin in the game, this has been floated in every magic power set request thread. However, like I said, unless the power set is specifically called magic in some way, the ones making the requests refuse to accept it. Magic is one of five origins in the game. It is a source from which characters get their powers. The Sorcery pool is/was one of five planned Origin pools. Primary and Secondary pools however are already magic. Even the ones like Robotics and Assault Rifle. It just takes the magic origin to make them magic. And there is a plethora of references across comics, video games, cartoons, and other media that shows how that works. So no, there will not be a Magic Blast power set. However, alternate animations that portray the sets better for magic are welcome.

Go to AE if you want to farm. Most effective means I am aware of. All I am saying is that it is exploitable. Anyone can blitz a lower level TF/SF solo barring any defeat all missions, get the normal TF/SF reward of merits, the xp and inf' from mobs and mission completion rewards; recipe, enhancement, and salvage drops from the mobs, and also be guaranteed their choice of rare salvage at the end? I already solo TFs. And if I can't solo it? I typically just need 1 friend to be on to duo it. So as the team leader for my solo TF runs, I get a guaranteed rare salvage of my choice at the end on top of the regular rewards I get from doing the TF? Either I'm going to be doing better on rewards or I and others doing the same thing are going to kill the value of those rare drops. Like one of my in game friends told me when we discussed this while teaming, the OP is a good idea for like Issue 8 of the game. Not for Issue 28 of the game.
-
You're looking at it as if it were an either/or, and it isn't. You're not going to either get the regular inf' from doing the TF/SF or the rare salvage, you're going to get both. (Edit: And you still retain the normal chance for rare salvage to drop from mobs.)

List of Pet Attacks Still Inflicting Knockback Protection
Rudra replied to Pazta's topic in Bug Reports
Those are holds that are supposed to lock the target in place. Why do you want the the KB protection removed? -
Remove "Supremacy" from the list of autopowers
Rudra replied to gabrilend's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Correct. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Stealth_and_Perception -
So then you just solo the easier TFs/SFs over and over. No need to fight over who leads. And you get rare salvage guaranteed every run.
