  1. 64-bit needs some serious testing (both server and client side) before we're happy to push it live, so it might be a while πŸ™‚
  2. Guys, stop being childish please. I've had to delete several posts. We will not be offering transfers away from Justin. Locking this.
  3. A while πŸ™‚ It's been a very long and very busy couple of months, April and May are a bit fuzzy to be honest.
  4. In my view this is the key issue, not that TOs/DOs are weak to begin with.
  5. @Cipherwill be able to talk about this in more depth, but the general goal right now is that we go for tax exempt status. This is a key part of the discussions which is why nothing regarding this has been announced or finalised yet πŸ™‚
  6. Some corrections / clarifications / answers: Tony is the head of The Titan Network. The Titan network has nothing to do with City of Titans (aka The Phoenix Project), that's being developed by Missing Worlds Media. Leandro is not the owner of Homecoming. Homecoming doesn't have a leader, it is a collective (although technically Cipher owns the LLC on paper right now). Homecoming is in the process of becoming a non-profit, although doing this correctly is not a simple or quick process. The non-profit will have multiple board members, ensuring the project is not reliant on or controlled by a single individual. We will always listen to the community - long term we hope to be as transparent as we possibly can be, but obviously current circumstances require a certain level of secrecy.
  7. I agree completely. It's pretty high up on my list of things to fix πŸ™‚
  8. That's the goal πŸ™‚ Although I'd also like a snapshotted copy of the wiki that documents the game as it was when it closed.
  9. I've certainly got some ideas on how I'd like to approach it, but as with everything else it's going to be a team decision and a team effort. We've been too busy to really discuss this as a team as of yet - as you can imagine we've had far bigger fish to fry - so it's just on the long list of things to eventually look at.
  10. I'd like to mention that we've definitely thought long and hard about all of these concerns that are being raised. Remember that along with being the server administrators, we are first and foremost just players of the game. We want the same things that you guys want. We aren't going to agree to anything that requires us to charge for the game, which seems to be the main concern people have.
  11. I agree with the identified problem here but I think the proposed solution is a little blunt. The different categories of enhancements are important for progression imo, but currently the early-game usage of enhancement is just... frustrating on many levels. The path forwards shouldn't just be to tear it up, though, we should look into ways of refining the system.
  12. I've now reordered these (with the Epics listed at the end).
  13. As someone who has recently played through all of this content, the ordering is certainly a bit confusing. It's something I'd like to look at making clearer in the future.
  14. Just to add to this: Nobody on the Homecoming team was involved in any of the buyout attempts before either. This new initiative has nothing to do with the old attempts, basically.
  15. The primary reason for setting up the LLC was actually tax protection. An LLC can spend money on server costs and write it off as an expense, essentially ending a financial period with zero income. An individual cannot do this, they would be taxed on the income before being able to spend it on server costs.
  16. Just on the advertising thing - that code was stripped from the game a long time ago. It was a third party plugin that can't really be brought back even if for some bizarre reason we wanted to. I suppose we could manually patch images onto the billboards but... yeah, no, that's a silly idea πŸ™‚
  17. Hey folks, We know things have been really quiet from us lately, and we wanted to provide an update on what we've been up to. Homecoming and The Titan Network are working together and are in active negotiations with NCSoft in order to turn Homecoming into a legitimate operation, and we've been making significant strides in recent weeks. It's our intention to involve the entire community in this process when the time comes - which is not quite yet, but we'll certainly be shouting from the rooftops when it is - hopefully Soonβ„’. Please hang tight for the time being, and keep killing those Skuls. EDIT: To be clear, Homecoming will remain completely free to play. - The Homecoming Team
  18. @justicebelieveris correct, but keep in mind that GDPR applies if the service is accessible from the EU. Doesn't matter if it's hosted there or not.
  19. As always, thank you for the support everyone ❀️
  20. At the very bottom of the page you should now be able to select 'Temporary Light Theme'. We'll work on something more permanent in the future πŸ™‚
