Hi all. I've asked @Steampunkette if I can post my build here instead of making another thread about the exact same thing and she graciously said yes. The build is based off of hers so if it isn't good, blame her 🙂 J/k. As this is my very first dom including live, I am not sure on a great many of things and would like some input/advice/critiques from the pros. Obviously, I know to go for perma dom, which I did. Easy enough. Then I tried to go for perma hasten, which I'm close to. I'm level 47 now and have been collecting the easy pieces as I go, like the numina, miracle, perf shf, panacea and so forth, but the main issue I have, is that there just seems to be too many powers to use. I've almost always played a melee type character so it was way easier to pick and choose from the list. But do I need all of the powers for end game content? End usage was a concern as a melee because of all the toggles (I mained a MA/DA scrapper, yeesh,) so I thought I'd also have end issues with a dom as well. Which is why I'm light on the toggles. No tough, weave or ancillary/epic shield (do most doms take these?). I figured I'd supplant the lack of res/def toggles with RoP and LM. I pop both, hit the fear, then leap in and wreck things. When LM (LM isn't perma yet) expires I back out at range until the mobs are all dead. RoP's cool down forces me to stay mostly at range until it's back up. The FF procs really speed this up. As of now, w/o all of the sets, end and survivability isn't an issue at +1/2 but I know the higher I go and with the end game looming, will be different. My attack chain is as follows - Dark Grasp on the highest tiered mob, Fearsome Stare the rest, send in the shades, Feral Charge, Heart of Darkness, maybe Shadow Field if not all got stunned, then build up stacks of Blood Frenzy ending with Rending Flurry. Dark Grasp is on auto at this point focusing on the highest tiered mob if it's still alive. Swarm, (when I remember to use it) is also focused on the high guy for the -def. So, before I go spend millions or waste merits, how's this look? Thanks for posting this! For some reason when I click on the data link for every build that is put up in the forums, it won't open. I get an error message that says I don't have an app to open this with. So, like every other build I'm curious about and see on the forums that doesn't have a chunk to copy and paste, I build it off of what I see. I notice when building this, that you've got 3 powers in the wrong level spot. Steam Spray is a level 26 power. Geyser is a level 32 power and Tornado is a level 35 power. Other then that, how the heck don't you have end issues? I know that you said this was mostly for fire farms, but even with that, it seems like you'd be poppin blues like they're going out of style. Stamina isn't slotted, health isn't stam slotted, no end reduction in a lot of your attack powers. Does everything die so fast and do the procs just help kill that much faster that end isn't an issue? Or does DC help to where end isn't a concern even though it's on a near 2 min cool down w/o the FF procs hitting? Anyways, lots to chew as I try and make this an non farming build for myself.

Hi and thanks for the reply and the copious amount of suggestions. The main reason for the power set combination is theme. My chars name is Echo Night. I think the original version back before sunset was a Sonic/Sonic def and it just didn't feel right. IIRC, I don't think we were able to to have this combo at the time I created him way back. I'm not going to address every single point you made, just to say that they were all great and hopefully the updated build reflects that I read and applied your suggestions, I think almost all of them. My primary goals were to get typed defense as high as I possibly could and get endurance sustenance to a manageable level. Sounds counter intuitive with CoF but I love Dark Armor and remember the mighty struggle I had with my Ma/Da scrapper back in the day to include every single toggle and run them while attacking. It was a true intensive labor of love. When I was building this, I think I was still in my scrapper mind set and with the plethora of new sets to play with, I got a little lost in the build. I normally don't ask for help because then the build doesn't feel like mine. But when I realized I wasn't making a scrapper build, I figured wth. Let's seek some guidance and you sure supplied plenty of good guidance. For the most part, I truly didn't know what to do with this build per se. I knew what I wanted, I just didn't see how to get there, so thank you. As of this writing, Echo Night, is only 22. I'm making this my main and was wondering if anyone could give some advice. I haven't seen this combo anywhere unless it was posted within the last day or so I don't have much to go on except what I think I know I need to make this work. I know /dark is very needy but judicious toggle play will hopefully take care of that. I know how to but it doesn't look right or normal when I do it from mids. It looks like there's way to much unnecessary information like color schemes for all the powers and two data chunks. It just doesn't look like what I've seen many others post.

I've built a Staff/Rad Scrapper and have chosen FoW as a set to use but the power set doesn't come up when leveling up at a trainer even though it's available at level 4, according to the builder (Pine's). But on the wiki page (which I just looked at after the confusion at the trainer) at the top it says that it is "potential future game content." Is this an old header or is this an unlockable power at a later level?
