  1. Make sure you're on the correct server. If you are, it's likely that the character select screen has shuffled around your toons. Did you search for the character by name?
  2. I got the name Charismatic. On Excelsior. That was quite the surprise.
  3. I have literally hundreds of alts, I won't lie. All of them are above level 10. All of the names/toons I absolutely love are already at 50, built, and most are T3 incarnate at least. Despite the number of alts that I have, very few non-50s have super-awesome names that other people would clamor for. If I get a good name that I adore, I play it to 50.
  4. I deal with severe misophonia, and because of this debilitating issue that has the potential to put me in crisis, I've not had the game sounds on since live. Emp aura on auto makes me nauseated, and the dark controller pet, the wolf that constantly goes "bark, bark, bark!" every few seconds when idle, has come close to putting me into a full-blown panic attack. There are a few from the Sonic Blast set that trigger my miso similarly. When I'm feeling up to it, I'll try and fiddle with the sound files and see if I can't turn nix the more painful, bothersome noises for me.
  5. There is usually a central spot where groups gather to fight the spawns, which tend to only spawn in groups of players. in PI, for example, people tend to gather in the Portal Corp parking lot. In Talos, it's on the hill near the tram.
  6. I play on Excelsior and I've yet to get caught in a queue. I can log in without a problem. Meanwhile, my partner logs in a minute later and ends up in something like 20/80. Well, ladies first and all that, I guess! 😂
  7. I played from i4 - sunset on live, elsewhere for 6 years, and here since the game returned in 2019. Unless it's a brand new powerset that I'm using, and, atm, there is not, I get my alt account farmer if the server isn't 3 red dots and I farm the alt to 32. It takes about 40 minutes with a double XP booster. After that, I slot level 35 IOs and play the game. Lower levels, after so many years, and hundreds of alts, just aren't fun for me.
  8. I have probably over two hundred cat characters, some kangaroos and wallabies, a wombat and koala, some rabbits, a few pandas, a well-meaning lobster, several doggos of various descriptions, several avians, some lizards, even an insect or two. I'm sure I'm forgetting something... Probably the kitchen sink. Oh! I have a handful of foxes, too! Edit: Oh! Oh! Horses! I have those, too! Unicorns, pegasi, alicorns, a griffon, hippogriff, and several dragons. OK, now I'm done. (I think.)
  9. Not per server. =P
  10. I don't. Hell, I'm the reason (literally) why we have 1,000 slots (per server). 😂
  11. Where am I sitting? My desk. Am I alone? Usually. Sort of. I'm in my room, and the cat is free to sit on me if she likes, and she usually does. My partner is in his room and is gaming with me, nine times out of ten. I typically wear headphones and listen to either music or podcasts. I don't think I've had the sound enabled for the game since live. How long I play for depends on exactly what is going on. It could be a single radio mission or a six-hour stretch with the barest of breaks.
  12. Embrace the alts! Don't ask how many I have. It might be 855... Then again, I am the literal reason we have the 1,000 character slots. XD Story time! On live, I ran two accounts, had bought almost every available slot on Justice, and every other server was full, otherwise with the base amount of slots available. A few years after shutdown, my spouse and I were invited to Secret, where, I believe there were something like 500 slots available. When they went to import my old toons, they paused. I had 730 between both accounts and they couldn't fit on my new one. So they raised the amount to 1,000, which then transferred to here, and there you go. XD
  13. hehe, I also have a Guns 'N Roses, she is a DP/Nature Corrupter.
  14. I forget if I've posted this one or not... Anyway, I have a water/traps blaster named Macgeyser. I have a handful of others but that one's my fav.
  15. It has to do with how much damage your team puts out. At least, that's what people were saying in-game. Ran a banner event yesterday that had anchors at each banner, using Incan to port the entire league over. I got credit for each one no problems. Ran one today under the same conditions, but I missed out on one badge, and my husband, on another team within the same league, got zero. Something with the event does feel a bit off.
  16. I sure do!
  17. Like others have said, it is random. There have been times where I've gotten as many as three purples in a single play session, and others when I've not gotten a single purple for several weeks in a row.
  18. My DM/FA/Soul Brute is a *monster* in farms. Even outside of AE, she is pretty awesome fun.
  19. Old post but I find myself with the same problem, only -ignorebaddrivers -safemode did not work.
  20. I have. I have a zero-KB energy/energy blaster and my husband has a zero KB PB. KB - KD slotted in every power that has KB. Then again, I never claimed to be in my right mind. =P
  21. I think I've ignored around 4 people in total. One of them literally thinks they are superior to everyone in terms of game play, can build toons better, design bases better; pretty much thinks they are a God and everyone else is beneath them. That constant "I am better than you" BS finally drove me to put them, on gignore because who wants to keep reading in chat about how inferior they (everyone!) is to this person. Not me, thanks. Anyone who has over the top hissy fits, more than once. People who are racist/biogted; these folks get zero chances at a do-over. I tend to make notes on such people so I don't forget. Oh, and rage quitters. There's a particular someone who quits any team or TF if they die more than twice. Sometimes, they give a lame excuse as to why they need to go, other times, it's just, "such and such has quit the team". After this person bailing on more than 8 TF's I've been on, a good deal of teams and I know they've done this to friends, too; F it. I don't want to invite them to my teams and I'd rather not play on theirs.
  22. Just because a toon can run +4 does not mean they are capable of taking down a +4 AV. What are your sets, what is your build, how much debuff do you have, do you use temps like the envenomed dagger, do you personally do enough damage to offset a +4 AV's regen capabilities? Many toons, if built properly, using temps, can take down an even-con AV; a +4 AV is going to require F tons of debuffing. The only toon of mine to ever take down a +4 AV was my bots/traps MM who's slotted every which way with procs, and even then, it wasn't fast.
  23. Superiors are made with catalysts not boosters. They stay as superiors permanently, even when you respec. They never lose the catalyst/superior standing.
  24. There's no need for the snark. You know I meant lvl 50. I'm just saying that stalkers don't all have to be played with a sneak everything mentality.
  25. You totally don't have to play stalkers that way, especially not if it's boring. My husband and I regularly duo stalkers that play at max settings. No need to sneak, hide, AS, wait, hide, repeat.
