  1. 84-39-2 Looks like a fire/bio stalker. Could be interesting. Not sure how they'll be able to hide while holding a burning sword right enough... Edit: Not sure if I was doing something wrong or had the wrong settings on the dice roll page but mine were not showing decimal places. Without decimals some numbers would give 2 possible results. Is there a setting for adding decimal places I'm missing?
  2. I really wouldn't read too much into what is posted in here, I certainly wouldn't extraploate anything from it. Regular forum users are rarely representative of the wider gaming population. I would fully expect we have orders of magnitude more, both in inf and sorage items, than the vast majority of typical players, from shared knowledge about the most efficient ways of obtaining both if nothing else.
  3. With regards number 7, don't forget team insps. Those affect all your minions in range. I pretty much only unlock team insps to drop on my MMs. @Herotu It's a games forum, there is no room for subtlety here! 😉 With regards slotting your protector bots, consider (at 50 at least) maybe a hami acc/dam with the soulbound allegiance damage only IO. If you +5 that you are looking at around 33% acc and 95% damage from just 2 slots, leaving you 4 slots for procs. The other 2, if you want to use them (I tend to skip the one with aoe def/taunt res) can be spread over drones amd assualt bot. You definitely want the overwhelming force in drones as well. And there's nothing to stop you taking hasten from the speed pool and hover/group fly whenthe next issue goes live. GF actually works quite well, although beware there are some pathing issues with it I find, you may need to turn it off periodically to let them follow you if they get themselves stuck. I wouldn't bother with the procs in rad infection, toggle powers like that have a low chance of the procs triggering and they typically trigger once every 10 seconds. I did 6 slot mine, but went for -def and -tohit as well as as much end red as I could get, as it is an end hog if you are using it a lot. But I'd advise copying your character to test and getting the procs from the freebies menu and trying them out yourself, you may find you get more value out of them than I did.
  4. I was going to make a lot of the same points, but you saved me the time. I agree with 2 or 3 slotting gale for the FF proc. It's also pretty good mitigation with the sudden impact kb to kd. And with sloting the SI kb to kd in tornado, that makes a huge difference I find. You can slot another FF +rech in lightning storm, which will pretty much always trigger, but if you are spamming gale it will only refresh the +rech, it won't add more recharge on top, so could be a waste, depending on your play style. I don't really have much to add on the beast side of things, mine is bots/storm.

  6. I had a ninja/trick arrow and I absolutely hated the combo. So much so it took me ages to go near ninjas again. When I did I went ninjas/cold and that has been a great pairing. Not a huge amount of res, but when you add the uniques, plus arctic fog, then layer frostwork on top of pretty much softcapped defences they are very surviveable, I also took aid other and field medicine for spot healing them when required. They also put out more damage than I was expecting. If you have the spare inf the overwhelming force chance for knockdown in your Genin works really well.
  7. Not really sure, and it would take far too long to log in all my alts to check. Somewhere between 3 and 20 billion I'd guess in actual inf. If you counted the IOs and things I keep in storage it'd be a lot more. I stopped actively making inf quite some time ago though, as it was getting boring, but if I needed to, for whatever reason, I could increase that by quite a lot in very short order. I just don't have any reason to just now.

  9. FA, despite the name, is also a +tohit rather than +acc (well the scrapper version is at least, I'm assuming they are all the same). The only power that springs to mind that has +acc is combat training for an Arachnos soldier, but I'm sure there must be more.

  11. Not sure my werewolf stalker will be jumping in front of anyone else to help them out with their T9... Admittedly I never take or use elude, so I wouldn't be adverse to it being changed for something else. Maybe lose the defence and add in a bunch of reistances to debuffs, end, tohit, recharge, something like that? I don't think you can add resistance debuff res without having actual resistance in the power, so that's probably out.
  12. I have SR scrappers, stalkers, a brute and at least 1 tank. Outside of fighting DE with quartz eminators and giant eyeballs of doom in the shard they are absolutely rock solid. Not really seeing why "the entire set needs updating" to be honest.

  14. What I suggested doesn't punish squishies more, as it would only trigger if there were no mez protection, so they are no worse off than they are currently. The vast majority of my alts are melee and are 100% protected, and yet I suggested something should change to redress the balance somewhat. However it's not likely to happen so it's probably somewhat off topic for here.
  15. I think that was @Luminara that suggested a scaling for things like -rech becoming holds with enough mag. Which is similar to what I was mentioning with immobs that don't have enough mag to immob you doing slows, but looking at it from the opposite side.
  16. In theory I'd not be against that, but I'm too tired to think through the consequences that could have right now. I've said previosuly (nothing to do with the RoP threads) I think mez should always have some sort of effect, even if you have protection. Things like, for example, you get hit with an immob, but its mag is less than your protection so right now nothing happens, wouldn't it make more sense for it to slow you down in some way instead? Either as a straight -movement, or maybe suppressing the use of travel powers. Holds stopping a single attack from being used for a few seconds if they don't outright hold you. Some sort of special effect that only triggers if the target isn't mezzed. Those type of things where it's not just a binary: the power affects you or it doesn't. I'm not saying those are changes I want to see implemented by the way, I imagine it would be far too much work to be viable even if I did, it's just a way of illustrating that I don't like the on or off nature of mez we have now, that some are completely immune to while others have to suffer through it all, and that there are ways to make it more evenly balanced without giving mez protection to everyone, or directly nerfing it for those that do have it.
  17. It's not even the risk of death for me. It's just plain frustrating having to wait for the toggles to recharge, turn them back on only for them to immediately get dropped again. Over and over.
  18. I think many people would be happy enough with mez resists over protection, if all toggles, including ones which affect enemies, only suppressed instead of dropping completely.
  19. I'd settle for them just doing it today as an April fool's prank and wait for the wailing and gnashing of teeth to ensue...
  20. I'd actually consider moving the IP exit point to the north west of the map. There is no other quick way to get to that side and there are some contacts I always avoid when I get them as I can't be bothered traipsing all the way up there for missions. At least that way it would have some added functionality for being in IP. The Talos exit point is on the hill so it's hardly far to the tram line if that's what people want.
  21. Ironically I first picked up RoP on my rad armour tank to fill the hole in it's mez protection to confuses. Only to discover after taking it it doesn't protect from confuse! And as I hate respeccing I kept it for the res and rotated it with meltdown, so that character only uses it for the res. Others use it for the mez protection.
  22. I feel like we have just gone full circle. Yes I am fully aware of that. If you are saying I would have respecced into it on live that is unlikely. I may have taken it on new characters, but I probably wouldn't have used a respec to get it on existing ones.

  25. Nope, because CoH didn't come to the EU until issue 3.
