Though, I've a certain fondness for: Kat/Regen Spines/Ice Titan/Nin Staff/Will Elec/SR WM/EnA DM/ElA Rad/Shield Stone/Rad MA/Bio Ice/Invuln Nrg/Dark Kin/Fiery Claws/Stone And that's just the actual Scrapper toons. We are disregarding the fact that all but 3 toons I've ever rolled live in melee (AR/Nrg Blaster and Dark/Cold Corr - Ranged for cones for days; Beam/EnA Sent - Hover Gundam)
  2. Glad I'm not horrifically off... Musc Core 4 (was Agility at first) Degen Core 4 Ion Core 4 Ageless Radial 4 Seers Radial 4 Assault Core 4 or Melee Radial 4 when teaming with squishies... Ah, the lack of a taunt aura.
  3. Less Tanker, more Stalker but no crits and ranged.
  4. I've ran a Beam/EnA and Dark/SR up to 50 through content... The Beam was a hover-blasting robot, the Dark was in melee constantly. Beam/ is useful for the extra AoE vs blast sets, and debuffing from Disintegrate. Dark/ with a /Defense really felt like a Scapper who could blast if they wanted... but, why? Both very fun, both enjoyable. Currently leveling an Elec/Regen - lowbie for now, but seems it'll play much more like the Dark/SR. Essentially, try whatever... especially those sets that are different (Pri/Sec) from their incarnations as traditional blasts or armors.
  5. Soul is one of the 4 Patron pools from CoV. You'll need to go evil and unlock a Patron in order to access them. (Or vigilante, and tag along on a villain's mission)
  6. All three of the line items were meant to be taken as a whole. I'm aware that currently the EndRed for caster and -Res on the target happen from either, but you only get either the Offensive or Defensive buffs - I offer you get both, and either of the two attacks (or both, if so inclined) would work to utilize it. Fair point - Could make it a separate, auto-hit clicky, no worries about missing it and waiting for recharge? Speaking of recharge - Are these builds where you've removed the T1/2 from your tray using just SO's to accomplish a constant attack chain? Because, while we're clearly beyond it at the top end, the base layer of the game is still balanced around SO slotting. Again, I tossed this out, half baked, into the Sentinel forum for feedback. It's been bumped to the box of doom, but at least I've gotten feedback.
  7. So, I tried this as a spoon combination, but took my sweet time leveling it. Been going through Praetoria, on mostly SO's. Up to 36 now, and starting to really enjoy her... This is odd, as these sets all seem not great on a Stalker, but it makes for a weird, hybrid Stalktroller.   8. While I agree with that, using T1/2 as the trigger means you've access to it from level 1, and it doesn't encroach on Dominators gameplay for having a separate Inherent clicky to utilize. Also, Dominate, let alone procc'd Dominate, should not be balancing factors on the T1/2's. It is such an outlier that either Sentinels as a whole need to be brought up to that level... Or the alternate. Again, this wasn't hard thought out on numbers, just a muse idea that smacked me, and I thought I'd kick out to see if it sticks.
  9. Elec/ lacks solid ST damage. AS traded for the PBAoE 0-damage stun on Stalkers alleviates that. Still one of the two best AT's for it, though, due to damage scalar and the pseudo-pet status of Lightning Rod. Stealing this.
  10. Part of the issue there is Scrapper APP's suck, since Scrappers are so awesome out the gate... It really does come down to Body/Soul for min/max, or whatever for concept. Edit: Change to Soul/Body/Mu - just realized this was Broot forums.

  12. As I'd not been following the Sentinel improvement ideas, I tossed it in the AT forum first, as it kinda came out of nowhere, to see validity, or if someone else had already brought it up. Thanks for moving it, especially considering the positive feedback.

  14. Doesn't Quills Crit? Being in a primary?
  15. 1) Opportunity grants BOTH the Offensive and Defensive options. 2) Have Opportunity be triggered by EITHER of the T1 or T2 blasts. 3) Opportunity's bar depletes on activation, allowing you to build it WHILE under Opportunity. Benefits: "Perma"-Opportunity would help the damage gap for Sentinels VS other DPS classes. Limited by 30sec duration of Opportunity - need to keep fighting to keep it up. Not as binary as PermaDom, and accessible to most/all players/builds, as it is more a playstyle goal/requirement vs a build requirement. Opens build choice, as you don't need both T1/2, or need to choose one or the other for endgame builds. Simplifies gameplay - There's not a choice anymore, or getting the "wrong" buff because your first attack missed and your second was queued. Limitations: Still shorter range and lower target cap vs Blasters. Still only one Vulnerability target at a time per toon - Activating on a new target removes the old one if still up. Concerns: Active gameplay could potentially mean that you've a permanent +Dam, +EndRed, -DefTgt, -ResTgt buff at all times. Thoughts?

  20. Ctrl+Tab is default for "TargetEnemyNearest", BTW...
  21. Pick powers, slot with enhancements, profit. You picked a melee secondary with a primary with a PBAoE and TAoE... Seems like a solid option at blapping. Also, try kitting one out yourself, you'll get better feedback, because then people will know what you're building for. Or, troll through these forums and mix match Rad/ and /Psi builds... I'm sure there's a few.
  22. F > Space > W if needed > #keys for attacks. I run Combat Jumping on most of my toons, and main melee. Follow into a jump usually gives me momentum to land next to them, even if they run. If not, a little "W" action finishes it. Edit: Regardless of AT, my toons end up in melee - Out of all the alts Legacy and Homecoming, I can think of only a few that didn't: AR/Nrg Blast, Ill/Emp Troller, Dark/Cold Corr (Legacy); Beam/EnA Sent (Homecoming)
