  1. The Trebuchet Dropship now fires in intervals of 12 seconds, up from 3 seconds. I misread this at first and thought the Rikti had resorted to launching dropships at the TF party by trebuchet.
  2. @Exiliath You can outright buy Prismatic Aether Particles off the auction house. During Halloween you can get about 50 free, more if you have alts. And Aether particles allow you to get NPC appearances that are otherwise impossible for players to recreate (in most cases) due to them not being made with the same base model/skeleton as a player. In the case of some of the premium effects, it basically grants you another aura slot and one based on powersets your character might not have access to.
  3. I just want to say, in defense of the unlock choice, it's fine and I think it's a little hurtful people thinking this is going to lead to the dev team deciding to go Ubisoft levels of idiocy with unlock systems. The Mongoose Badge costume pieces might push towards redside, but what's wrong with that? People rarely play redside so here's a new incentive for it.
  4. I really hope that “Very Soon(tm)” actually is… I hate feeling so impatient but seeing the sneak previews and such I am so damn hyped and want to see the new shinies live! Argh! Not helped I’m waiting for Valheim to bring out Ashlands, Minecraft to launch its next update, and won’t get an update for Final Fantasy XIV until summer now. Argh, I’m in Soon(tm) hell!
  5. Mmmm... No. Also reminds me of how I want to figure out how to make 'Steamed Hams, but it's an AE arc'
  6. I do have to say breezing through Aeons seems plausible but I still have no idea how anyone does it. Those AoE -res patches are so damn numerous and cover such huge areas I have literally earned THREE damage badges in ONE life because I was hit that hard on a tank!
  7. Honestly, the Council Radios and Yins are just a side effect of both groups originating from launch content and not having been as well designed for higher levels of play even by launch content levels of power players could get to. (Just like so many TFs featuring normal bosses as if they'd be a challenge for 8 man teams) They've gotten some incremental additions like Galaxies, Super Stunners, etc. but they still lag in powerlevel compared to, say, Arachnos. It feels especially egregious with Freakshow because they've had interesting additions given to them but they end up being only one offs like Sneaky Freaks, Rikti Freaks, and Noise Tanks.
  8. Man, I hate to be like this but I really hope we get the next update soon, it's been over six months at this point.
  9. I have but only because they were pointed out to me back on live. Along with a character file for 'ArchAngel Michael' found in the game files suggests the live devs might have planned to delve into JudeoChristian mythology at some point.
  10. I randomly have to give the Live Lore writers credit for making an Imperial Japanese super group. Most 'Weird War II' media seems to forget Japan even was a participant in the war outside of enraging the U.S. into openly joining.
  11. Damn, must be some Mandela effect self-gaslighting moment. My apologies.
  12. @Saiyajinzoningen the aether particle vendor.
  13. Aren’t those already in the vendor?
  14. @TimesSeven I mean, in fairness, right now the Aeon SF even on minimal difficulty can still have -res fields stack up so high I got three tiers of the 'damage received' badge on a tanker I ran on it. Which means my resistance was so badly floored I was apparently getting smacked for millions of HP in damage.
  15. Meanwhile, there's only a handful of powers that completely ignore your resistances. One being the crystal titan and I think Tyrant in the Mage trial's Hammer of Justice is another. (or is his called 'Fist of Tyranny' like Reichsman?)
  16. off topic, but now I also want a low level fear enhancement set that's just named 'Vague Sense of Unease'. Edit: oh, and more on topic I just had the idea of the fear proc being -Res or possibly both -res and -def and call it Impending Doom!
  17. This would be nice, though in some cases it does make sense for the enemy to flee melee, most noteably it's an AI feature with Mook Hitmen who use sniper rifles. I think most normal snipers from other mobs similarly try to avoid being stuck in melee with a player too. Just in general, AI improvements could be useful but it's probably one of the harder things to fix.
  18. Alternatively, could go with a -recharge debuff working on "fearful hesitation"
  19. I'm actually kind of shocked it doesn't, now that you mention it. Especially since Confuse also gets a purple set when it's also kind of one of the rarer mezzes.
  20. if nothing else, I'd like to swap out the oni in ninja with a kunoichi. Like, it seriously bugs me an otherwise nice, natural origin set just swerves on the last tier into SUMMONED ONI!
  21. Not gonna lie, I'd love love some of those too, but how the heck would fifth column/council work seeing as they're single, solid models?
  22. I took cross punch on my own super strength tank for much the same reasons. Footstomp has a cooldown longer than a geologic period and handclap has never been a good power in my opinion. Stuns always result in the AI immediately scattering to the four winds.
  23. one my I forgot relating to Praetoria: The Hamidon of Praetoria isn't the same as the Hamidon of Primal Earth, but they are related. This might seem like an obvious statement, but what I mean is that on Primal Earth, the Devouring Earth didn't show up until after the Rikti War in 2002, the Terra Conspiracy arc even has you run into someone who knew Hamidon Pasimala before he became a literal monster (being a launch arc, that would put it roughly in 2004). Meanwhile, the Hamidon of Praetoria showed up after its alternate conclusion of the Korean war when MacArthur nuked the peninsula in the late 1950s, That's a huge 40 year gap between the two, and so it leads me to suspect Praetorian Hamidon is actually a Hamidon Sr., possibly a father or even grandfather to who would become our Hamidon. But the most likely answer is the Live Devs forgot.
  24. Sort of my take on this is that Praetoria is specifically actually built in Florida. In Neutropolis we see Row Houses which are common designs in the Southeastern U.S., the land around Praetoria also seems rather flat and swampy if First Ward is any indication. Though this could place it in a lot of places in that region and not necessarily just Florida. This headcanon actually comes from someone else back on live who, on top of all these things, mentioned Florida already has isolated gilded utopias with massive undergrounds: it's called Disneyworld.
  25. but my farmer Nuclear Flare really should be trapped in AE! The dude is a hardline Marcarthyism Jingoistic “patriot” who has been around since the 1950s and responded to anti-might for right act and Vietnam war protests with just nuking people! Thinking about it, he’s basically an even worse Homelander. Which says something.
