I have a Dark Melee/SR brute that is a lot of fun to play... though, to be honest I find my Dark/Rad more fun. The build is attached here (hopefully) if you might be interested. I'm not going to say it's the best build ever but it is pretty inexpensive. The defense is very high so as to hit or come close to the incarnate cap. Brute - Dark Melee - Super Reflexes.mxd

I feel like 5 is too few targets for Shadow Maul now. Could you please consider maybe 8, 7, or even 6? I know that's not much different from 5 but it'd still be better. As of now I don't currently plan to respec into Touch of Fear because I can't really fit it into my build.

Came here to ask basically the same. I so very want it for Arachnos Soldier gun, and Arachnos Widow claws!

Bio armor has a minimal FX option as well. It gets rid of the large sections of carapace armor. You do still have a certain amount of particles though, and I think they can't be tinted either; they are sort of a sickly green/yellow/brown.

Titan Weapons' mechanic is just sort of weird. It takes some getting used to. If you want something with a more regular rhythm and still respectable damage output, consider perhaps War Mace instead.

I didn't build it as a farmer, but I recently levelled an axe/rad brute to 50. For a number of the higher levels when my resists were good, I could easily run fire farms, not necessarily 4/8 but definitely 2/6 moving to 3/8 etc. mace/rad would be fine too and probably something like claw/rad.

I've had it suggested to use the fly/hover/jetpack and taunt from the air in order to survive. Works pretty well. Though I was wondering if there is actually anything that can taunt tank him toe to toe and not die.

Hello. Here is a build I am currently levelling for radiation armor/fire melee. It's very resilient but I am not sure if the damage will be enough for my liking. The last few power choices are relatively flexible but you are sort of out of slots at that point. I took Meltdown mostly for the +dmg more than the resist of course. Hello. I was referred to this post by a friend. At a higher level, how would you compare the Brute and Tanker "Mad King" builds? I presume the Brute does more damage but the Tanker is more survivable? But perhaps with greater AoE threshold the Tanker is even still up there for damage? Trying to decide on a next alt.

Crowd Control is one of my favorite powers in the game.

Hello. I just became aware of this. It's very interesting. I have a DM/SR brute that is very good overall but has certain particular failings. If you've tried it, how does this build do against the pylons in the Apex task force, and the Clockwork King (in general, but in particular the one on the Lady Grey TF)?

I opened a petition for this, and they suggested posting here instead, so here goes. Last night I was in a group trying to get the Pentad Victor badge. I was a victor in two pentad matches but I was not awarded the badge. Others on my team each time did receive it. Not sure what else to say but any suggestions appreciated, I guess.

Maybe it's just me but I am often in the LFG queue and I forget about it, and I try to get a team invite, only I cannot be invited. Would it be possible to change it so that if you get invited to a team while in queue, it would prompt you instead? Something like "You are in the LFG queue, but you have received a team invite. Do you want to drop out of the queue and join the team?" Thanks for reading!

It's in the mission where you have to go to a really dark floor that's mostly flooded, right? If so do you know offhand where he was on that mission? Are you certain that you didn't save him in an earlier mission? Because that is my concern for him potentially not appearing for me. Thanks!

I ran this arc already, but in looking at the wiki I see there were some badges I overlooked. I have no idea if I saved Hopp the first time, but probably not because I reran the arc and couldn't find him in the mission in question. Hi, I've never done a full IO set build before and I'm working on one for my sentinel (currently level 49, beam/elec). I wanted to see what people's goals for building an endgame character are? I know that people seem to like to soft cap defense at least. How about things for ACC, TOHIT (which I understand are two different things), DAMAGE, and RECHARGE? (I hadn't decided yet if I am taking Hasten; I could probably work it into my build, but I am overall relatively happy with my recharge.) Thanks!

It looks like you are not seeing the other choices on the right of the Enhancement picker. Click another type of enhancement, and you can see more options. Thank you so much for your reply! This is exactly what I was doing wrong. I was apparently in "untyped" because that's the top item. I am really brand new to using the hero planner.
