  1. Damage procs are a huge problem. IMO, they needed to be nerfed into the ground yesterday. Last week, I compared a popular Time Manipulation/Dual Pistols Defender build loaded to the brim with damage procs to my build for my Dual Pistols/Temporal Manipulation Blaster. Pistols on the Defender did four less damage than Pistols on my Blaster. The other attacks averaged less than ten percent less damage than the same attacks on my Blaster. The Defender had much higher defense and resistance numbers than my Blaster in comparison. In what world is that acceptable?
  2. One of the unannounced but very welcome benefits to Issue 27, Page One is a fix to a longstanding bug from Issue 17. Rogue and Vigilante PCs can now finally peacefully co-exist in blue and red side zones with Heroes and Villains, respectively. All of my characters are red side. I don't have a single blue side character. Prior to Issue 27, Page One, whenever I joined a blue side mission team, I would be booted from the team if someone went to Ouroboros or a SG base. If I formed a Task Force or Trial, I had to wait for the person to come to the zone I was in before I could invite him or her to the team. Team Transporter to tram missions would also not work for the whole team. That is no longer the case! People on co-op teams in a red side or blue side zone can now freely go to a SG base or use the Ouro portal without worrying about someone on the team being kicked. If I form a Penelope Yin TF as a Rogue, I can now invite someone in Atlas to the team without having him or her come to IP first. You can now use Team Transporter to get to the final mission in the Dr. Kahn TF on a co-op team. Oddly enough though, this still doesn't work on actual co-op zones like Kallisti Wharf nor RWZ. If I as a Rogue form a team in RWZ, I have to wait for the Hero or Vigilante to be in RWZ before being invited. Team Transporter will still not work on the last mission of the Market Crash Trial on a co-op team as well. But still, this is huge progress. I thank the developers for making co-op teaming easier, especially for exclusively red side players like myself. It means a lot.
  3. Ice/Rad Corruptor. Ice Blast hits like a truck, Blizzard + Scourge = love, and Rad you already know and like.
  4. I would be fine with that. Just don't be surprised should doing so raise a holy ruckus from the "game is too easy, need to nerf everyone" crowd.
  5. *Runs Council radio farm in PI.* "This game is too easy! We need to nerf everyone!" "You could try playing gold or red side, the enemies are more difficult there. Some of them much more so." "Eww. Gold side and red side icky." *Goes back to farming Council radio missions in PI.*
  6. I really, really like what I see here. Very well done, @UberGuy. Thank you! Just one suggestion: at some point down the road, please implement a dark theme. It'll look better (IMO), and save battery on mobile devices.
  7. Hasten. I just manually click Clarion myself every two minutes.
  8. FWIW, the site works well using Brave Browser on iPadOS 14.4.
  9. You're correct that Tankers were overbuffed and do too much damage now. However, comparing a Claws Brute to a Claws Scrapper or a Claws Tanker is a flawed sample. Claws (and Dual Blades), will always perform poorly on Brutes in comparison to Scrappers and Tankers, because of Follow Up, (and Blinding Feint). The +DMG does them a disservice due to the way that Fury works. (Same for Super Strength in comparison between Brutes and Tankers as well, with the +DMG from Rage.)
  10. I say overpowered because Electric Armor is fine as is in most regards. It's real issues are a complete lack of knockback resistance and a hole to toxic damage, but every armor set has a hole somewhere. Other than that, it's one of the best armor sets in the game IMO. Giving it extra +regen and endurance reduction on top of Energize (which as I said before, can be made perma), would tip it to the overpowered scale.
  11. No thank you. Energize already does the same thing as the aspects of Dynamo you're talking about, and can be made permanent. Energize is Electric Armor's secondary means of mitigating damage. If you combined Dynamo and Energize, it would definitely make Electric Armor overpowered.
  12. Dual Pistols only lacks in damage if you don’t use Incendiary ammunition. If you do, it is one of the highest AoE damage dealers.
  13. I think the solution to this thread is to temporarily replace every enemy group in the game with either The Awakened or Animus Arcana for a week. Then see if the game is still too easy and that PCs need to be nerfed.
  14. Nerfing defense isn't the solution to Force Field's woes. Changing the +defense in Force Field to +absorb is. As someone who played five Force Field characters on live (all from level 1 to 50 solo), and plays a Force Field Corruptor on Homecoming, that's a change that I've been strongly advocating for for a while now. Absorption is a much better fit for Force Field than defense, and if absorption was a mechanic at Issue 0, I'm 110% confident that is what Force Field would have been.
  15. Just FYI, Babylon 5 is now on HBO Max... and has been remastered to HD! It looks great, IMO. If you don't want to subscribe to HBO Max, you can also buy the remastered Babylon 5 seasons on Amazon Prime Video and iTunes. Personally, I plan on having Babylon 5 on in the background via HBO Max when I work all day just to show my interest to Warner Bros. Hopefully if enough people watch it on HBO Max, it will inspire Warner Bros. to do something with it.
  16. Everyone is superfluous in teams. No one needs you. That's the beauty of CoH, in comparison to other MMOGs. Restricting defense softcap in CoH to Tankers and Brutes only would just be a step on the path to the Holy Trinity of other MMOGs. No thank you. Honestly, a lot (not all mind you, but a lot), of the people that I've seen complain about game balance and "how easy" the game is are the same people who only or mostly do radio missions blue side, choose Council only, and have never stepped foot red side nor gold side. That's the real problem, not game balance. The difficulty is there, it's just people routinely choosing and farming the easiest content.
  17. Because it wouldn't be limited to only a Tanker soloing. It would quickly become expected behavior again for Tankers and Brutes to herd entire maps and have Blasters/Corruptors/Defenders/Dominators/what have you sit at the entrance and twiddle their thumbs, because that would be the most efficient way of playing. And at that point, I'd have to start preventing PUG Tankers and Brutes from joining my teams 'cause I will just not play that way. No thank you.
  18. That would be Lingering Radiation for the -regen. Water would go well with Rad. It just would have a more difficult time soloing AVs and GMs due to the lack of single target damage in comparison to Fire and Ice.
  19. Wouldn't know, never used it. The only powers worth taking on Radiation Emission are Radiant Aura, Radiation Infection, Accelerate Metabolism, Enervating Field, Mutation, and Lingering Radiation. The tier seven through nine powers are not worth taking. Water is best on Corruptors, IMO. It has DoTs and a rain-like power in Whirlpool which make full use of Scourge.
  20. That just seems absolutely insane to me if true, and makes me want to stick to farming than using the auction house.
  21. Two good friends of mine both play Water/Dark Corruptors and love it. It looks fun from watching them. Tar Patch + Whirlpool = good times. I have a Ice Blast/Rad Corruptor. I regularly solo GMs with it. The only GMs he can’t solo are the Council Goliath War Walker and Seed of Hamidon, and as far as I know they can’t be soloed. If you intend on being a solo AVs and GMs master, I would go with Ice over Fire. It has better single target, and Scourged Blizzard is a beautiful thing.
  22. Radiation Emission and Time Manipulation are great on Corruptors as well. Do you want to solo AVs and most GMs? Fire or Ice Blast combined with Radiation Emission, you will be able to do it easily, and also be welcome on teams. Do you want to solo regular content with ease and be useful on teams? Dark Miasma and Time Manipulation say “Hello.” You won’t be able to solo GMs like Rad, but you will also be safer. Water and Dual Pistols are great primaries for both, but any damage set will work.
  23. Yep. If I didn’t need a Defender for the Barracuda SF, I would never have made one. It is okie solo, but I really notice the lack of damage on teams. It feels like I should not even bother using my secondary. Corruptor all the way. The Trick Arrow debuffs on Defender are overkill, and the Corruptor will do much more damage.
  24. No, I haven't tried that, and no, no outstanding bids. And again, this is on multiple, various items.
  25. Over the past couple of months, I've noticed an issue with items not selling on the auction house. I'll have items listed for a million INF below the average selling price on the auction house, and they will not move for weeks, if at all. I had attuned Luck of the Gambler 7.5% global recharge IO enhancements on the auction house for six million INF, regularly sell for seven million INF... didn't move for weeks. I've had various Hecatomb/Armageddon/Ragnarok/etc. IO enhancements on the auction house for sixteen million INF, regularly sell for seventeen million INF... didn't move for weeks. I can understand items taking a day or two to sell due to others, but two or more weeks, consistently... something's up.
