Perhaps gate Dark Astoria to level 50, and lower the maximum team size to four, while still keeping the ability to size the spawns to x8. That way it would still fulfill its mission of being a solo path to Incarnate abilities and being a training wheel for Incarnate trials. -
Scrapper. Energy Aura on Scrappers has a taunt aura so you don't have to face enemies running away nearly as often as on a Stalker.

FWIW, Superman is my favorite super-hero. Has been since I was probably two years old? Maybe three. I remember watching the old Adventures of Superman television show and saw Superman II in the movie theater. I was hooked. I believed a man could fly. That's why every single character of mine has Fly, Afterburner, and either Speed of Sound or Super Speed. I collected all of the various Superman comic books since the John Byrne reboot in 1986 through about 2013 when I just stopped reading DC Comics. -

Yep. I have done a Lord Recluse SF with no enhancements, no temporary powers, players debuffed, mobs buffed... and it was cake. That is due to years and years of my friends and I regularly playing red side and running the LRSF. Not IO enhancements, since we didn’t use them. -

Dark Astoria was simply not meant to be challenging to veteran Incarnate players. It just wasn’t. It wasn’t meant for full teams either. It was essentially meant as training wheels for Incarnate trials. That is where the challenge is supposed to be. -

Which just proves my point that Dark Astoria was designed to take Incarnate level shifts into consideration, it was intentionally designed to become easier as you progressed as an Incarnate, and that it was intentionally designed to eventually funnel you to Incarnate trials for increasing challenge. So thank you. -

We've had this argument before. I don't know if it was earlier in this thread or elsewhere, but hardcapping defense to 35% or 40% is a no go. It can't happen, nor will it ever happen. If it should ever come to pass, expect a mass exodus of players to other servers. -

People can already run at level 50+4 if they so choose by unslotting their Alpha. If they don’t, then that tells you how many people actually want to do that. -

Because Dark Astoria was designed with the level shifts in mind. It is supposed to get easier. People were not meant to run full lackeyed teams in it. You were supposed to get through it solo or on small teams, and then graduate to Incarnate trials. That was the stated intent and purpose. -

Dark Astoria is Incarnate content, and was intended as a *solo* Incarnate path. It was never meant for teams, or at best small teams. As Incarnate content, the level shifts absolutely should apply. -

Is there no way to change the color of the inside of the butt cape from black? I only appear to be able to change the color of the outside, unlike the trench coat butt cape.

To be fair, it's four fights in the game. :P Battle Maiden in the Apex TF, Malaise in the Minds of Mayhem Trial, Mother Malaise in the Minds of Mayhem Trial, and Tyrant in the Magisterium Trial.

Yep. It is only a matter of time before damage procs are severely nerfed, so I build with that in mind. Not even my Time/DP Defender uses more than one damage proc in a power.

If you use Speed of Sound instead of Super Speed (or don’t take either but why would you do a crazy thing like that), it has the most amount of aggro a Brute can get between the -recharge debuff aura, Irradiated Ground, Fury, and Taunt. A Tanker that uses Super Speed will be able to out aggro you, but only if they work for it.

I think it's the latter. Most of the time, the only clickie I need is Energize. Once in a while I'll use Energy Drain in a tough battle, but rarely needed. I have a Radiation Melee/Energy Aura Brute with Speed of Sound, letting the Brute maintain the full mag 4 taunt. I find it hilarious that I have a Brute with full stealth between Energy Cloak and a stealth proc in Power Slide, and maintains full mag 4 taunt. Stealthy Brute FTW.

No, she just ignores it most of the time. Even if I'm the only Brute or Tanker on the team, when she's in a blue patch I'll spam taunt and most of the time she doesn't budge.

It doesn't help that she completely ignores taunt the vast majority of the time, and that once in a while the blue patches land with no warning.

Yes. It was a bug (DoTs shouldn't have critted), and was fixed a while ago.

Welcome back to Paragon City and the Rogue Isles! Sadly, no. Everything from prior to sunset is gone. You will need to start over from scratch. -
1. You obtain merits by running Task Forces/Strike Forces. Lots and lots of Task Forces/Strike Forces. Story arcs as well, although they're not as efficient as TFs/SFs. 2, 3, and 4. Go to a Merit Vendor in most zones (they're on the map), and buy Enhancement Converters, Enhancement Boosters, and/or Enhancement Unslotters. Sell them on the auction house.

I have two "forever" support characters - a Water Blast/Force Field Corruptor and a Dual Pistols/Dark Miasma Corruptor. Yes, yes, Force Field. Eww. But there are still a couple of niches that Force Field is best at (especially on Corruptors), and in combination with Water Blast the character is a joy to play. On a full team or league, he feels like a Water Blast Blaster with AoE mez protection and can hand out bubbles every three or four minutes, thank to having the Gaussian buildup proc in Tactics. My Dual Pistols/Dark Miasma Corruptor is the only character from prior to sunset that I remade on Homecoming. It is my homage to The Shadow. It's not the best debuffer on the block (nor the best debuffer I have), but it looks great, feels great, and it gets the job done. I have a forever damage character - a Dual Pistols/Temporal Manipulation Blaster. What can I say? I love Dual Pistols. There are better ranged attack sets, but none look as good nor feel as good. Temporal Manipulation gets my Dual Pistol attacks back up more quickly, and it has a couple of very good, cool looking melee attacks of its own. Right now, I'm on the hunt for my forever melee character. Not sure I'll find it, but who knows.
