  1. Merry Christmas, @Bionic_Flea! Merry Christmas, y'all!
  2. So it appears that Indom TF is the only channel used now for TF/SF/raid/trial recruitment? Are there any other Indomitable global channels I should be aware of?
  3. Red side for life.
  4. The very first thing I did on April 24th, 2019 was to remove the Help channel from my chat tabs. The very first thing I did on March 31st, 2020 was to remove the General channel from my chat tabs. I have never regretted either.
  5. At level 10, my Loyalist Praetorian contacted Calvin Scott, who offered both Jessica Flores and Hatchet. I did all of the Imperial City Resistance Warden story arcs beginning with Jessica Flores. Then I chose the Resistance alignment. I called Calvin Scott back, and he introduced me to Hatchet. I did all of the Imperial City Resistance Crusader story arcs beginning with Hatchet. Then I chose the Loyalist alignment. My Loyalist Praetorian contacted Provost Marchand, who offered both Interrogator Kang and Mr. G. I did all of the Imperial City Loyalist Responsibility story arcs beginning with Interrogator Kang. Then I chose the Loyalist alignment, again. I called Provost Marchand back, and he introduced me to Mr. G. I did all of the Imperial City Loyalist Power story arcs beginning with Mr. G. Then I chose the Loyalist alignment, yet again. I had finished all of Imperial City. At this point, my Loyalist Praetorian was level 15. I went and did some winter holiday event stuff, and got to level 19, and disabled XP again. I opened up my contacts window and called Provost Marchand... but he had nothing for me at all. "At the moment, I have nothing for you. But perhaps more will develop in the future." He should have offered both Dr. Hetzfeld and IVy, since my character was a level 19 Loyalist Praetorian. So then I tried calling Calvin Scott... who only offered me Crow and his own story arc. No Aaron Walker. Something was definitely bugged there. My character was level 19, Loyalist, and Praetorian. He had recently finished Praetor Sinclair's story arc in Imperial City and chose the Loyalist alignment. Yet Provost Marchand offered no contacts, when everything worked just fine in Imperial City. Regardless, it really doesn't matter for me anymore. I deleted the character, as I made the character with the intention of doing every single Praetorian mission in the game. Since the Neutropolis introductory missions were unavailable, it became pointless.
  6. Ahh, yeah. Unfortunately, that will do that.
  7. It is Friday. Of course we are doing it again.
  8. Yep! It went very, very well. Thank you for coming, and thank you to everyone else that came as well. Last night was my fourth A Very Rikti Christmas, and the first time that no one saw who landed the kill shot on U’kon Gr’ai. It was most likely a DoT that killed him. I will have to think of an alternative for next year.
  9. Ouch. So it's not just me then. Hrm. I wonder if something in Issue 27 broke the contacts in Neutropolis.
  10. This would work as well. Regardless, something needs to be done with the Barracuda SF to make it easier to run, as red side already has a shortage of SFs compared to blue side. Any ideas, @Piecemeal ?
  11. Okie, who broke Excelsior?
  12. Alas, my Defender's journey soloing all of Praetoria reached an abrupt end. Between that bug and just not feeling the Defender AT in general (I'd much, much rather play a Corruptor instead), I deleted the character while in Neutropolis. Perhaps I'll try again some day, but probably not any time soon in fear of running into that bug again.
  13. I suggest granting all archetypes the Power of Black Scorpion temporary power in the Barracuda Strike Force, instead of just Defenders and Masterminds. The Barracuda SF is the only content in the game which currently requires a specific AT in order to complete it. Not even the Lady Grey TF requires a specific AT, only specific roles which multiple ATs can accomplish. Due to the restriction of needing a Mastermind or Defender to complete the Barracuda SF, it has to be the least run Strike Force in the game by far. I feel like a heel whenever I want to run the SF, because I do not have a Mastermind nor a Defender.
  14. I'm currently taking a Defender through all of Praetoria, from Precinct Five through Night Ward. I did every single mission in Nova Praetoria and Imperial City. I had just finished Praetor Sinclair's story arc in Imperial City, and was ready to move onto Neutropolis. I managed to gain a few extra levels thanks to the winter event, so was level nineteen. However, according to the Homecoming Wiki all of the contacts in Neutropolis are levels fifteen through twenty, so I should have been fine. However, Provost Marchand would not introduce me to neither Dr. Hetzfeld nor IVy, saying that there was nothing more for me. Calvin Scott would only introduce me to Crow, not Aaron Walker. I tried walking up to Aaron Walker, Dr. Hetzfeld, and IVy, and all three would talk to me and offer me missions at least. It just seems to be a bug that neither Provost Marchand nor Calvin Scott would introduce me to three Neutropolis contacts.
  15. The Rikti'll come out tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be Rikti!
  16. Yeah, I know about needing to ding level 20 for the Rift mission. What happened though is Provost Marchand would not introduce me to neither IVy nor Dr. Hetzfeld, and Calvin Scott would not introduce me to Aaron Walker. Instead, Provost Marchand said that he had nothing for me, and Calvin Scott would only introduce me to Crow. However, someone on Discord said that it is a bug and that Aaron Walker, IVy, and Dr. Hetzfeld would talk to me if I went up and talked to them manually. Sure enough, they did. So problem solved, but it would have been nice to get the breadcrumb missions. Alas.
  17. I followed this guide from the tutorial through Imperial City, using the Loyalist "Accept alignments" path. I started off in Precinct Five, and chose Loyalist. I did all four paths in Nova Praetoria, and then did all four paths in Imperial City. I got a bump of a few levels due to the winter event, and now my Praetorian is level 19.3, and ready to take on Neutropolis after having finished Praetor Sinclair's story arc in Imperial City. However... Provost Marchand has nothing for me, and Calvin Scott wants me to talk to Crow while my character is currently under the Loyalist alignment. I seem to be stuck at an impasse. Edit: I just checked under "Find Contact," and it shows that I have IVy, Aaron Walker, and Bobcat available as contacts, but no Dr. Hetzfeld. Very strange. I guess I could just go up and talk to Aaron Walker or IVy, but I would have liked to be able to do the breadcrumb from Calvin Scott and Provost Marchand, and it looks like I somehow am unable to get Dr. Hetzfeld as a contact despite being level 19 and Loyalist alignment.
  18. All of Google went down this morning. Of course, that just showcases why it's such a bad idea to rely on a few companies (Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc.), for most of the Internet.
  19. Did everyone's favorite weathergirl, Gwendolyn Lee, survive the events of the Magisterium Trial? Inquiring minds want to know. You figure a woman that can rock a bowtie should be able to survive a nuclear holocaust...
  20. I'm sure that it will be turned off whenever the script kiddies DDoSing the servers get bored and move on.
  21. Blue side privilege is real.
  22. Just a reminder that this is in five days, y'all!
  23. From what I understand, the engine literally cannot handle anything above level 54. The best it can do is 54+1, 54+2, 54+3, etc.
  24. That playerbase also had a cap of about three dozen characters per shard, unlike Homecoming's thousand characters per shard. It's comparing apples vs. oranges.
