  1. I will say that the enter base from passcode slash command/macro has negatively impacted the game for some people, including myself. I stopped joining PUG teams several months ago because people were being expected to use it, and haven't done Master of TF/SF badge runs because some people were now making people have a base macro in their power trays as a requirement to join.
  2. It's already been done with five people, using no temporary powers.
  3. Just a reminder that the weekly scheduled MSR trial will launch from Pocket D in roughly ten hours from now, y'all. You must be level 35+ and have the Member of Vanguard badge to participate. There will be a 200 million INF kill shot prize for the drop ship! I hope to see y'all there.
  4. Part of me hopes that the Homecoming developers one day change the Council in all missions and TFs to The Awakened for one day and one day only as a practical joke, just to see the reactions from the “This game is too easy, please nerf!” crowd.
  5. There will always be power gamers looking for ways to break games in ways that casual players would never dream possible. They are very rare exceptions, and far from the norm.
  6. It is fine. They clearly used nukes from screenshots and a video posted. Hamidon was also done with eight players before sunset. It has been done with five players on Homecoming with no temporary powers used. It is something that takes substantial amounts of time, effort, and planning. It also requires very specific builds. Your average Joe PUG is not going to be able to five or eight man Hamidon, even with nukes.
  7. You disagree that there are substantially fewer bubblers and Sonic Resonance characters now than on live?
  8. See my posts above, which you ignored.
  9. You completely ignored my point. We had successful MSRs prior to Incarnate abilities because there were plenty of bubblers and Sonic Resonance characters on live. The reason we don’t have them now is because we have Cold, Time, and Thermal, which are better than Force Field and Sonic Resonance in every single way that matters, with or without Incarnate abilities. If you remove Incarnate abilities outside of iTrials, more people will not start making Force Field nor Sonic Resonance characters. They’ll stick with Cold, Thermal, and Time which are substantially more useful in every other content outside of MSRs. As for MSRs, you would have substantial more failures to the point where people would stop running them. No, this glorious era where all Incarnate abilities are removed and people start running “more balanced” teams is a pipe dream based on rose-tinted glasses and nostalgia for a past that will never and can never come again.
  10. Incarnate abilities have absolutely nothing to do with the devaluation of Force Field and Sonic Resonance. Cold Domination, Time, and Thermal do. They are power sets that came about later, after everyone already made their bubblers and Sonic Resonance characters on live. On Homecoming, Force Field and Sonic Resonance do not have that advantage.
  11. It is a DPS AT that does little DPS. Not a surprise.
  12. That would make Rikti mothership raids substantially more difficult. There are far fewer bubblers and Sonic Resonance characters on Homecoming than on live, making the Clarion Destiny critical for the success of a MSR.
  13. I have been told that Lord Recluse does 30 magnitude knockback. My Elec Armor Brute has 27 points of knockback protection. Yeah, Increased Density seems to be the answer.
  14. It's already been said at least three times by developers over the past year or so that one is coming.
  15. Which won't matter when procs get nerfed.
  16. The /loc is: 1643.6 199.4 3317.7
  17. Just FYI, there will be no instanced MSR trial this evening. It will be back same time and same place next week!
  18. Yep, and it's been stated by developers a few times that damage procs are going to be nerfed at some point.
  19. I've seen people say it quite a few times while leading MSRs on the Excelsior shard. I just assure them in league chat that it does not.
  20. I remember this myth back on live, but nowhere to the degree as on Homecoming. Then again, Champion was a much smaller server than Excelsior.
  21. It was actually added to the game on October 1st, 2019, the same day that the instanced MSR trial was added to the game.
  22. Stealth doesn't impact aggro when it comes to MSRs. It's a myth that's been perpetuating since MSRs started. I lead hundreds of MSRs on Champion and Exalted servers, and another hundred+ on Excelsior, and as far as I can tell stealth does not impact pulling Rikti to the bowl.
  23. Yep. The damage numbers in Mids are substantially wrong for a number of ATs. If you really want to know how an AT performs, make a build on one of the two test servers and try it out. In regards to the subject as a whole, I vastly prefer Corruptors to Defenders. They do more damage, their buff and debuff numbers are more than good enough, and Scourge is love.
  24. The Mids damage numbers for Corruptors have been too low for over a year. It is a known bug. Don’t use them nor rely on them. Corruptors do more damage than Defenders, period.
  25. I reread all of the AMAs a few months ago. One of the things brought up is that the increased difficulty gold side was a mistake. They were dealing with new systems and new power sets that they didn’t fully comprehend, and did not realize how much more difficult it would be compared to even red side. Paragon Studios planned to eventually nerf gold side NPCs, especially The Awakened.
