  1. That's all my suggestion is. Every power already has attack type: melee and Smashing, ranged and Energy, etc. We already have IO sets for the first type, my idea is new sets based on the second type.
  2. Yeah, I've made that suggestion before too. Or even add +Damage to the existing mez sets.
  3. My suggestion is for more sets like "Overwhelming Force", the Universal Damage Invention Origin set- attuned, unique, but not Superior levels. Instead of Universal Damage, each set works in specific damage powers: Smashing, Lethal, Fire, Cold, Ice, Energy, Neg. Energy, Toxic, and Psionic attacks. An example would be a set called "Future Sight", which can be slotted in attacks that do Psionic damage. The proc enhancement would be a short +Defense boost. Set bonuses would be similar level to Overwhelming Force, maybe even sharing some, plus new bonuses not seen in other sets. Maybe +ToHit (instead of +Accuracy), or resistance to types of debuffs? If you like the idea, feel free to suggest other set ideas. I feel the procs should avoid effects already associated with that damage type (ex: Ice doesn't more Slow Movement, maybe chance to create a small fog patch?)
  4. My builds tend to be so normal (entire Primary/Secondary, very few Pool Powers) that I think they might count as abnormal.
  5. I usually use it on Lts., since Minions die quick anyway. Best on debuffers (they debuff their allies instead), or a damage helper against Psi-resistant enemies. But a lot of the time it's just for fun, like boggle the Crey Lts. who throw a Confuse grenade and suddenly all your enemies are fighting each other.
  6. I'd like to say Super Strength is my favourite because I've played it the most, but Rage is kind of kludgy. Powerful but awkward. So I have to go with Psionic Melee because Boggle is fun.
  7. People get weird on gaming forums, that's how they became a top place to radicalize young men. It's not that serious, just be cool.
  8. I have an Elec/Elec Blaster that I'm going to switch to Storm/Elec, since that's the concept I was going for anyway.
  9. It's easier to see the Alpha effects on your Enhancement screen, obviously 80%-plus is not normally possible with Damage Resistance
  10. How about Flurry changed to a cone attack, but moved to the third tier (need two other Speed powers to select)? Then either move Whirlwind down to level 4 or add some new power, maybe a teleport-punch attack.
  11. This is cool, I've always felt like Electric Blast didn't quite fit the Storm/lightning theme.
  12. Cool, your second pic caught me mid-Eye Beam zap. It was fun smashing with all Tanks again.
  13. Everyone in the same city, no splitting up the player base. No Player Villains, but you can create villains (and their henchmen, lair, etc.) for others to fight in AE-style player generated content.
  14. I would do +2 x4 or so (depends on the character), purple bosses are where the xp is at.
  15. If I were making a Speedster, I'd probably go with Electric Melee for the lightning theme, the teleport from Lightning Rod, and Chain Induction is kind of like running around hitting multiple targets.
  16. And it has Boggle! Confuse powers are so much fun.

    Illusion Tank

No this isn't a request thread, it's just for fun. I've got a Phantom Army (okay, two Phantoms), confused enemies fighting each other, cool effects- Psychic Melee plus Incarnate powers feels like an Illusion Tanker.
  18. I'm constantly surprised by some of the names available on the lesser played servers. I hope the name release gets implemented eventually, but in the meantime try out Torchbearer or Indomitable.
  19. Somebody's level 25 Family ambush hanging out in the woods in Perez Park while you're trying to get to a mission door...
  20. I'd add an entire new zone Goldside with no announcement, and see how long it takes for someone to notice it.
  21. I love making them blow themselves up then the hostage they were guarding comes running away unscathed. Now that's super magic!
  22. Also- if an enemy buffs its allies, confusing them means they will buff you, which I find even more fun.
