  1. Yeah, I generally keep emp merits so fresh 50s get alpha tier 4 as soon as it is unlocked. I do have far too many squirreled way though.
  2. Of the two, I much prefer shield. Gotta fit the shield in with the theme of toon or outfit if that matters though. Think you can minimize energy down a lot graphically if you want. I don’t remember though I deleted my energy aura toon.
  3. Yay another scrap addict. Welcome back. Bio and Rad armor sets are both new and pretty fun but hard to make work with costume or theme if they matters for you. Energy melee is super fun on a scrapper. When energy transfer crits it is a ton of fun and super giant numbers. The aoe sucks though. I enjoy Sentinels as well. They are a lot of fun to play but don’t do great in the damage department. People crap on them but they are still fun to play. If you do try a sent out I suggest going /sr. It’s my favorite on any toon that can get it but it’s especially good on a sent. For money, once you hit 50, you can do apex/tin once a day. Quick 80 merits and drops to get incarnate at same time. You can do a lot of other stuff to get money but I like this best as they are fun and quick, lots of avs.

  6. Mine is 42 at the moment. Really just picked bio cause the animation from offensive adaptation fits water blast nicely. I’m not really impressed with bio on a sentinel much to begin with but it is what it is. I keep going back and forth on builds. Anyway, anyone happen to be playing this combo and/or have a build already laying around they’d like to share?
  7. No, it’s not. Not on a scrapper. Not on a brute. Not on a sentinel.
  8. I would much rather have energy transfer crit than total focus. I have the proc in total focus. Then energy transfer is quick and also has much highly chance to crit and do more damage. Have time for quick energy transfer and bone crusher to be used in the added crit chance window too. I’ve tried it in energy transfer and didn’t feel as good and didnt have the huge crit damage either that comes from energy transfer critting, which is super fun.
  9. Do you actually ever use kick? I don’t get the point of one slotting it with the proc. I see this repeatedly on the forums and doesn’t make any sense.
  10. I just rolled this one. Not close to 50 yet. I'd love to get that defense without having to use hover though.
  11. The damage proc in invincibility was just to try it out. It is OK but not great. Something is off though as in game my s/l def is 45.6 with one enemy in range.

  13. Are you trying for as fast as possible or just trying to do it solo at x8?
  14. Well, the build functions great aside from endurance being absolutely awful. Ageless would help if I didn't take the one with defense debuff. Filling up with it, of course, helps, but it still runs out before it is back up if going full on. Might try and tweak later to get another performance shifter in there and other things to help while still keeping attacks fully procced out. Accuracy is fine no issues there.

  16. I put ATO proc in titan sweep. Then when it procs you either use another aoe if groups or rend if single target. I wouldn't put it in Rend cause that is what you want to proc when hitting AVs.

  21. I can probably find it. Flurry doesn't need to really be slotted much. Just like it for concept. I think I can lose the 10% recharge bonus there and still be safe on perma hasten with Ageless anyway. Slotting a 50+5 damage instead of the hami will be MUCH cheaper too.

  24. This is very accurate. I do shield charge then give them a sec th get back up then do leverage to knock them back down. Hit a boss one or twice in between.
