Unless @Monty Haull is also using a Microsoft mouse then hardware wise we are not. When this happens to me it's as if the cursor is gettin stuck on the item name text within the categoties. This is why I suggested clicking on an item and movin the cursor to the center of the screen and deleting the item. This has always snapped the game back so I can keep editin. I have cel shadin turned off, so it can't be that option causing this. The only common component is our hardware. Monty with the Microsoft keyboard and me with a Microsoft mouse. @Etched

I'm fine with turnin on prestige but for what you are askin that's a hard Hell No. First, this post should be in Suggestion and Feedback or at least Base Construction but not in General Discussions. Secondly, there are already Longbow and Arachnis Guards within the NPCs in base editing. Thirdly and most importantly. As I've been told by the Base Reps, things that you are askin could crash bases altogether. The base code is a finicky beast that the Devs just don't like to mess that much because it can corrupt the base code and no one would get to have a base. Point to point NPC movement will never happen within the bases. You say that the base is missing old components? I honestly don't think ANYONE is missing prestige, nor would they have a reason too. And that is about the only thing that is missing from the bases. All the items from live are still in the editing mode a long with hundreds of new items and the Devs are doin great to continue to add more. Bases are fine the way they are without addin a bunch of stuff no one cares about other then a handful of badgers. @Etched

You can also buy a base teleport from the p2w(costs 1 million) or if you log while still in the base, which is a day job and you will gain free teleports for the base. @Etched

You can set the away time to 600 days. And as @lemmingsaid above, if he is your friend just ask for it back. @Etched

A Super Group can hold up to 300 toons with 18 salvage, enhancements, or inspirations lockers. I'm fairly sure that one base can fit all of y'all and whatever locker types you may need. IMO, you don't need a separate SG. @Etched

@Monty Haull , i have never heard the data dump or diagnostics crashin the game. Mainly it records if there is a crash and sends that information to COH HC so they can see why you are crashin and hopefully fix it in the future. The biggest for a game crash is activating the Cel Shadin within the options. I have had this happen a number of times and I assure you that it will not manipulate the base. However, I understand if you choose not to use it but it will give the devs insight as to why it crashes while Cel Shadin is in use. I have both active and have never lost information within the base. As a Base Rep, @Dacy is just doin her part to make for a smoother base editin experience. I doubt she is goin to offer bad advice. Once the base is finished mind sending me the pass code so I can check it out. @Etched

@Dacy, It kinda blows me away that no one else has had this happen to them. The game has been doin thisto me for a long time and is the second bug that frustrates me the most, the first would be the item category switchin when movin from one room to another. Also. Heh, the other 800 million must have gotten lost in transit. However, I have made bases that were in that range which is where I made a large portion of my inf. The other portion I made just by playin the game. Now I'm fortunate cause I have the time to play for a couple hours each day and I make a good chunk of inf. But understand I don't alt the way others do. If I see that I lost interest in a toon I would strip and delete and keep my toon count below 30. I was told once that I have probably deleted more t4 50s than most people have. Therefore, I am just reusing the same enhancements and not spendin 100s of millions kittin out the newest toon. More then likely when base editin you shrank the Room or Item display box. Which would make the Permission boxes small as well. Glad I was able to help. @Etched

Go into base editin mode and wide the boxes and set them there. @Etched

It's a bug, pretty sure they know about it. This works for me. When it does this click an item in the item selection category and then more the cursor to the center of the screen and delete the item you selected. This should allow you to move your toon around again. There has been occasions that I had to do it twice to release my key controls. If there is a better way then that, beats me. @Etched

True story. I was teamed with this person and they got truely pissed that she was the trainer and went to Talos to train. I was speechless. She's pretty nice to me, even gave me her number. I was on a pretty handsome toon at the moment. @Etched

I have an SG that I can invite you to. We are a small sg (six of us total) that play mostly from 10 am to 1 or 2pm most every day. One of the members is on the west cost which is why we start at 10est/7wst. To be honest during the week it's usually just him and I. Sundays we do Sg teamin with toons made just for Sunday runs. I would say just play the game. Teams, Tf/Sf, AE Farm and Raids. Others will say to use your Merits and buy Enhancement Converters and sell them on the Market. Both work at gettin the green backs. @Etched

I wouldn't say that. I see a lot of SGs that will bring in new players but they are not just goin to land at your feet. You got to look. @Etched

Anyone ever play Pac-Man, I'm not talkin about in the arcade, I'm talkin about for the Atari? You first get it and it's like OMFG this is fun! You're sitting in your living room or bed room and you're listenin to Night Ranger on the redio and you think life couldn't get any better. Until you realize that not mush really is goin to change. Chasing the dots, avoidin the ghosts until the next level, hoping something would be different. And it don't. That is how Red side is for me. I played it beta, I was there for the release, and I played it until it got borin. Not mush has changed. I know the HC Devs has added more content and I played that, not a lot I will add but after that.... Still the same Red side. Blue side is really no different. Most of the time I go where the team or tf goes. I love the Aeon sf. I love the Recluse sf. The story arcs, are kinda bland. As others have said above, you don't get to be a villain. More like a soft hero, if that makes sense. Would I go back to Red side? It would have to be really good. @Etched

Thank you for the reply and time as base Rep. I understand you nor Easter cannot disclose what is comin but you offered more info than the devs have at this point, even if it is vague. I'm personally lookin forward to whatever is comin out and envisionin all the great builds in the future and I'm sure I am not the only one. One of the two bugs that have been buggin me is the category switching when I move from one room to another. If I pick a category it would be nice to maintain that category until I decide to change it and not when I go from one room to another. Hopefully we'll see fixes for that and the rest. Great news is abound however, we are left in the dark. The Devs may see base construction as a lesser topic but there are many of us that would like to know. What's comin? I was told by a very trustworthy source that there is but they know very little other then something is comin. So I'm askin the base reps, @Easter Bunny and @Dacy to bring us into the light. Are there goin to be additions and bug fixes comin in the next updates that is more constructive then coffee mugs? NPCs, lightin, new anything? Details would be tremendous.
