  1. I've thankfully not ran into that yet, as I too enjoy using macros for location AoEs. I'll try to block out some time when I get back from my work trip to replicate it and put a ticket in. I'd recommend doing the same, perhaps we can get some attention towards the issue.
  2. Perhaps you could go check out the benchmark to see if it's a separate issue other than the AV/GMs themselves. I haven't had any issues even after the changes. Unless your character is specifically built to obliterate AVs/GMs then I see no issue, especially if the other 4 characters were lacking in the build/level/combo/attack chain department. Good luck to your future attempts.

  4. I think it'd be a good use of the echo zones honestly. I personally think there's nothing wrong with the ToT EBs, especially since they spawn at the door clickers difficulty settings. My opposition is only towards taking the EBs out of regular zones, which is not the suggestion here, so I think it would do no harm and only good. Some people like to do things solo, this would give those people an avenue without EBs at the very least if they can't handle it. They would be opting to miss out on the EB bonus, which is a personal choice at that point.

  11. There are pylons in the wild that do hit back if you want to get hit back lol
  12. Thanks for the submission! I would recommend using the pylons that are on the side of the vanguard building (there are 3 and most people will leave you alone during testing) so they don't attack you back. This also opens up room to use ageless for recharge on the pylon for max uptime. I'll get the info updated as soon as I can 🙂

Hello all, @Laucianna, @Ston, and I have been brainstorming together a way to bring the community a reasonable standard to benchmark their characters/builds against others and have landed on 3 points of testing. These are 3 easily accessible methods to see what your build/character is capable of when solo. This is intended to provide a measurable result of what you can do with your character, not what it should do. It doesn't have to be a perfect run, as this is for the soul purpose of showing a history of results from various submissions. You may make as many attempts as you'd like before making a submission. Any "bounties" or "prizes" can be offered by individuals if they desire, though they will not be funded by Original Posters (OPs) unless stated otherwise.   16. KB Enjoyer Opinion Alert: Personally I enjoy KB from energy blast, but not everyone is going to commit to use it to its full potential (or even understands its use). Fold spacing a mob into a corner and putting them into a never ending fall is a great use of energy blasts KB if done in the appropriate map. Positioning yourself to toss a mob towards your taunt is another positive use to capitalize on its effects. Such use takes an understanding of how often it will work, how far they can go, and how you will respond. There are certain scenarios where I will swap in KD to 1 or 2 of my powers based on factors where I can't utilize KB efficiently or risk pushing a critter into a map wall (cave), but for the most part I can utilize the sets knockback to my teams advantage. I'm somewhat surprised there's so many opinions about KB making fights take longer when some of them also mention fights aren't long enough elsewhere.

  18. The only issue I see with this, is that the funds on the bounty are then abuseable. I've donated many funds to projects and would not want my donations to be cheesed so easily. I also wouldn't want said projects to be dragged into a gutter and turned into a meme (unless it's a really good meme and a brand new gutter that funnels non-waste products I guess)

This is a personal attack, not a disagreeing statement. ^our nature makes it hard not to take the bait lol someone in this thread is especially good at baiting people I actually can't help but agree with this unfortunately to an extent. I do however think Player 1 as my example has provided explanations in the past when topics like this arise that opened up room for productive discussions and provide a level of transparency that leads to understanding the reasoning behind changes. Sometimes you need to take action, sometimes you don't. When there are issues from multiple parts of the community, explanations will go a long way vs silence. I acknowledge that the topic at hand is being diverted into an area that normally leads to the post being nuked. I PERSONALLY think that there is a lot of room for better communication and would refer to my previous post about requesting more post patch support. At the same time, I do acknowledge that HC doesn't exactly have a PR team to communicate these types of issues that arise with a plan to fit them into their schedule. They have been upping their efforts to have discussions though, progress is progress and I'll take it at this point.
  22. The map for trapdoor did bug me as well but I can't deny that it did have some value. Have you tried out Stons new mission? It has a large variety of enemy types, resistances, and it's on a super testing friendly map. The only thing known that can cause variance atm is the PFF that some crey enemies use but it's not hard to just make a target macro to focus them first. Yes enemies have potential to run away from you, and there's some variety that can't be controlled, but I actually like it more than I did the trapdoor map. I def like it a lot more than that office simulator people were recommending to me. The only other thing I can hope for that could be better is a dedicated testing mission arc created by HC mission team. Something that players can use to measure their abilities with stable mob spawns. The only kickback I would think something like that would produce is the "catering to min/maxers" comments I see from the usual same people. I believe @Player-1 would be a good person to ask about this kind of thing to get some parameters that would provide valuable data.
