Unless you're fighting Paragon Protectors with MoG or Nemesis with Vengeance, anything more than 20-30% -def is overkill.
-
I don't have a Poison/Seismic, but I do have a Poison/Sonic and a Nature/Seismic. Only one ST attack? Highly recommend that you take Tombstone and Entomb. With all the -def in Poison, slotting Seismic for -def is a waste. Slot for damage and throw in a few procs. As far as pool powers, would recommend Sorcery for Rune of Protection. You really don't want Venomous Gas dropping because you're mezzed.

Feedback Post: What Blaster Power would you like to see next?
Uun replied to KingCeddd03's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Touch of the Beyond is in Darkness Manipulation (blaster secondary). The Dark Blast primary is largely OK, although at this point we have 3 different versions of it. I think sentinels may have the best version. -
Any surprises you've come across with Alpha slotting?
Uun replied to biostem's topic in General Discussion
Here's why: If the power is already slotted to ED max, you're at 195% of base damage (1.00 base + 0.95 enhancements). Alpha only bypasses 2/3 of ED, so the 45% is reduced to 30%. The 30% is added to the enhancements already slotted in the power (1.95 + 0.30 = 2.25) 225% is 15% greater than 195% (2.25 / 1.95 = 1.154). You would get the full 45% from Alpha if the power wasn't already slotted for damage. -
I don't like the Elite Bosses added to trick-or-treating
Uun replied to MrSnottyPants's topic in General Discussion
Flash Arrow should neuter their ability to hit you. -
There's no increase in duration. It's a 20% chance for a 1.0 increase in magnitude. The duration of the increased magnitude is shorter than the primary effect.

I don't like the Elite Bosses added to trick-or-treating
Uun replied to MrSnottyPants's topic in General Discussion
When I get frustrated with getting smacked down by the EBs, I pull out my T4 Poison/Sonic defender or T4 Nature/Seismic defender. They make quick work of them. -
I've got a Cold/Beam defender that performs really well on HM and 801 stuff. I understand the arguments in favor of corruptors, but defenders get stronger buff/debuff values (except for Sleet, which is coded wrong).

I don't like the Elite Bosses added to trick-or-treating
Uun replied to MrSnottyPants's topic in General Discussion
The witch's endurance drain comes from Lightning Storm, which is immobile. After she spawns Lightning Storm, simply move around a corner or out of its range. My beef is with the vampire EB while playing a melee character. He spawns Dark Servant and floors my tohit. -
I was thinking of it in terms of the debuffs controllers have in their secondaries. Perhaps I should have said that it takes less skill to do it on a controller. On Torchbearer there's a Mind/Psi dominator named Number Six (not the dev) that's soloed just about every TF in the game and has vet level 6,000+ (last time I teamed with them). I don't think they're active on the forums. The Mind/Energy I was thinking of was Mezmera, but I don't know what they've soloed.

This hasn't changed since Page 3 (almost a year ago). Eden Trial You must now defeat the Rock Wall and Mold Wall to complete the Eden Trial. Greater Devoured in the Eden trial will now drop Ambrosia at level 53 and 54. Unique damage from the Crystal Titan attacks is now auto-hit and can only be mitigated via Ambrosia. Non-Unique damage still can be avoided with Defense. Ambrosia Resistance lowered to 65% while in Master of Eden mode. Expanded the level range so summoned Devouring Earth will not spawn far below the trial's level. You can now only select a Titan Origin Enhancement as a reward every 18 hours like other special enhancements. Completing this trial on the Master Challenge will give an even-level Titan Origin Enhancement instead of -2.
-
Foot Stomp does autohit unique damage (which Ambrosia protects against) and smashing damage which is flagged to require a successful hit roll. The knockback is 30% chance of mag 20 and ignores resistance. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=devouringearth.crystal_titan_powers.foot_stomp&at=boss_archvillain Prism Blast is the same, except it does energy damage instead of smashing. https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=devouringearth.crystal_titan_powers.prism_blast&at=boss_archvillain I did MO Eden a few months back (I think I was on a Nature defender) and it went very smoothly. I don't recall whether we taunted from the air.

You're applying a lot of different types of debuffs. Since we already have sets that do -res, -def, -end and -rech, I would focus on a single type, -dmg (returning +dmg to you). If allowed to stack within reason, it could be an interesting mechanic.

As Peter Fonda wasn't in the movie, yes.

Teleport Popup Tray Power: Levitation and/or Worm Hole
Uun replied to Canadian Anvil's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Travel powers don't stack. Whichever has the highest buff will apply and the others are ignored. -
I've bought lots of orange salvage over the past few weeks. I put in a bid of 520,000 inf and come back in a day or two. My order is always filled. Don't get sucked in by the "buy now" price. Similar experience with IOs. Put in a reasonable bid and wait a few days.

It's certainly easier to solo AVs on a controller (I do it on my Illusion/Poison), but for some reason I just don't see controllers talking about soloing TFs. In addition to Dark/Dark, I know people that have done it on Mind/Psi and Mind/Energy(?).
-
Degenerative core (-HP) and Reactive core (-res) are generally the most desirable, however, they are very popular and there's a limit of 4 stacks. I've been leaning toward the radial DoT abilities (which allow 8 stacks), focusing on the 3 that have higher damage (Reactive, Spectral and Preemptive). I've tried Diamagnetic but haven't been particularly impressed. I have multiple Interface abilities crafted on many of my characters.

Chase is indeed in Pittsburgh, but they dropped the "Manhattan" over 20 years ago (when they merged with JP Morgan).
-
There are more than a few players that solo task forces at max difficulty on their dominators. There may be specific primaries that are better suited to this, but the AT as a whole doesn't need a buff. I see fewer controllers soloing task forces, but resistance/defense isn't the reason. They are plenty tough and also not in need of an AT wide buff.

Gravity's holds (Gravity Distortion and Gravity Distortion Field) do have -kb, as do Earth's. The -kb doesn't last the full duration of the hold (for either Gravity or Earth), which is why held enemies can be knocked back after the -kb expires. Gravity's immobilizes (Crush and Crushing Field) do not have -kb. As I said above, this is a defining feature of Gravity and shouldn't be changed. It is useful with Storm, as it allows you to use Gale or Hurricane to push immobilized mobs into corners. Perhaps you should learn to play Storm properly rather than blaming Gravity's design. Gravity's immobilizes also have -runspeed and -jump, which Earth's do not. This causes mobs which resist immobilize to be slowed. Demonstrably false. You don't seem to know the difference between a hold and an immobilize.

Don't nerf Force bomb damage with Force Field changes
Uun replied to Fusaokek's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Shouldn't these comments be here? -
Crushing Field has an 8 second recharge, which is exactly the same as the AoE immobilize in every other control set. If you're referring to Gravity Distortion Field (the AoE hold), the 240 second recharge is exactly the same as the AoE hold in every other control set. The lack of -kb in Gravity's immobilizes is a defining feature and shouldn't be changed. If you want AoE damage, you can pick that up in your epic pool. Very few of the control sets have significant AoE damage. Gravity received a major overhaul in I22. I think it's largely OK as is.

Haven't tested it, but wouldn't be for the length of the summon, just 10 seconds at best.
