  1. Toon created! If you see MonsterMurderKill leading stuff on Excelsior, that's me!
  2. You're braver than I am! I have been doing a lot of number crunching and I won't be unveiling anything until the project is finished. But I won't be PLing! I promise!
  3. I will take the unsolicited advice! Not sure how I missed slotting Apoc. As far as the slotting itself goes, I much prefer the chunkier hit from the proc Bombing. Cryo Ray and Ice Arrow together will obliterate a good chunk of HP on a problematic mob. I'm also not much of a pylon tester and this build is centered around salting the earth. Thanks!

    Rad/SS

Argh! I was pinged! I'd just like to clarify that I only fully proc bomb in special cases! I still have to find ways to slot Slow RES so puzzles have to be puzzled! SS can get away with it because Double stacked Rage provides so much +tohit. You absolutely could 6-slot KO Blow and Foot Stomp with just procs and you'll see a massive return with no consequence. This also means any attacks you end up grabbing along with SS benefit from the same thing. Set bonuses are still a bit important! This is the way!
  5. Beep Beep Lettuce, Plant Control/Martial Assault Dominator Beep beep!
  6. Heavies are also extremely susceptible to holds! This can act as a double-edged sword. If they're already on top of the team and held, it can really ruin the group's positioning. But a coordinated group can safely hold and plink a heavy from afar to reduce the danger from the field! I also feel Clarion is a must-have for this TF. It reduces the risk of Terrify, Teleswap, and Stuns from affecting the team. 2 is even better if you can get Barrier rotations tight!
  7. What makes Blaster Glue Arrow such a special case is that it's both an ST power and a pseudopet, so procs fire on the target hit and for the patch that spawns. You don't necessarily proc it for the long-duration patch as much you do to nuke a target, much like Burn!
  8. This is how I've been running my Ars/TA. I mostly made it as a joke, but it actually is pretty fun! It's a little frail but does a great job of completely blowing away general packs of mobs. I dub it the PATCH GOD Patch God - Controller (Arsenal Control - Trick Arrow).mbd In my experience it's not worth procbombing patches (there are exceptions obviously, Burn and Blaster Glue Arrow are good examples), and Arsenal Control doesn't really seem to be an exception. Thankfully the damage on the damaging patches is still pretty high for Controllers. And Flashbang is great at deleting mobs and your teammates' eyes. I definitely wish it was easier to get ahold of ST damage!
  9. Those are good choices as well! Kick is nice to fit in when using cross punch because it makes it stronger, and you'll be using it alot in my build. I've ran CP without both boxing and kick before, as I consider it for the utility more than anything.
  10. I posted this one before, but I updated the look slightly! Just in time for a new sister toon! Breakcore, Sonic Blast/Fiery Aura Sentinel Acidcore, Bio Armor/Kinetic Melee Tanker
  11. That's what I was noticing! Definitely gonna make it Master of next time.
  12. My top 3 pairings with Regen are SS, Axe, and MA. Stone and TW being honorable mentions.
  13. It's not a bad choice at all. Regen just becomes easy mode when you pair it with a melee than can slot Knockback enhancements!
  14. My team of 5 clobbered a +4x8 Riktispec with no inspirations in 36 minutes! I think I made it too easy for them!
  15. Going to summon the help of @Spaghetti Betty for this because they are the clear Regen guru IMO I have been summoned! I will now descend upon thee! Ice Melee isn't one of my first choices when pairing for Regen, but I do think it can work just fine! Here's something for you to look at Brute (Ice Melee - Regeneration).mbd First thing to note; This is a 50+ build. When levelling a /Regen, your actual secondary is Inspirations! The gameplan is the same as any of my Regen builds: mitigation through planned use of active clicks. To that extent, my ace in the hole is always Rune of Protection + Instant Healing. These two powers combined inflate your RES and Regeneration to an insane amount, which combined with Brute's huge HP pool, will turn you into a machine. This activation lasts 60 seconds (IH lasts 90, but the RES portion is a bit more important), so to continue keeping our mitigation up, we use Melee Core Hybrid to mirror the effects of that first combo. Melee Core lasts about the same amount of time (I forget how long. I have to retime it. CoD doesn't list it) so there's about a 30 second gap between the two activations. That's where Moment of Glory and Barrier Core come in! Apply liberally to fill gaps. As for the Ice Melee portion, the idea is relatively straightforward. Ice Patch is your defense, so I don't feel compelled to build any at all. Awareness of your surroundings and smart use of Ice Patch will completely incapacitate your attackers. As for your attack rotation, it is definitely the funkiest part of the build. I'm hoping you can do something like Freezing Touch -> Ice Sword -> Frost -> Cross Punch -> Ice Sword. Cross Punch will be fishing for FF proc activation. If this bothers you, you can always seek outside sources for recharge boosting - temporary powers like Offensive Amplifier, the SG base buff, or the Time Lord day job. Or you can always team with recharge buffer! Hope this helps!
  16. Generally, you want to take everything in TW. Defensive Sweep is skippable. A case can be made to drop Titan Sweep as well if something else is desired, but it's still a solid attack for levelling. Crushing Blow will always be your quickest attack outside of Momentum, so if you ever drop Momentum and Build Momentum isn't up, you should use Crushing Blow. As far as what to do after Crushing Blow, just do whatever! Inside momentum, you have 2 ST attacks and 3 AoEs, so this should be pretty self explanatory. Arc of Destruction has the best DPA out of the AoEs, so if you need something else to do for ST, just use that. Definitely consider picking up some epic powers to fill in the gaps! Since you have a lot of recharge boosting at your disposal (nearly every power can take an FF proc), Gloom fits nicely here, and you can even double dip for Dark Obliteration!
  17. Thanks so much! I appreciate the praise!
  18. I feel a little bad for hijacking the thread slightly, so I took some time to dig through my garbage heap and I found an MA/Regen build! Brute (Martial Arts - Regeneration).mbd Yes, building can be complicated, and Regen is for sure a complicated beast. The name Regeneration can be misleading. Regeneration is not about Regenerating! It's about juggling active mitigation options to dynamically deal with incoming damage. Thankfully, my approach can take a lot of the guesswork out of combat and reduce the amount of tools you need to worry about by a ton! Dull Pain is something you should strive to have active at all times. It nearly doubles your Max HP. This is extremely important as healing is scalar, so having more HP means you get healed more! As for mitigation tools, using Rune of Protection and Instant Healing together will make you so tough against incoming damage, you might forget that you're supposed to be made of paper! Melee Core Hybrid also has a similar effect when you reach 50, so you should totally juggle these activations! Use Moment of Glory (and Barrier at 50) to absorb alpha strikes. When played well, there are so few things in the game that can take you down! And if they do? Well just get back up then, silly! As for the MA side of things, it pretty much drives itself. I'm pretty positive with this build, you can do Crippling Axe Kick -> Storm Kick -> Cobra Strike -> Crane Kick -> Storm Kick. For AoE, just pepper in Dragons Tail whenever it's up! Regen is definitely a difficult set to progress through the game with, but at 50 with full gear, it's one of the strongest armors available in the game, provided the driver has a good head on their shoulders. Hope this helps!
  19. Hmm. I'll PM you further so we aren't clogging up the thread.
  20. No inspirations. My gameplan with Regen is to cycle-stack Rune of Protection + IH and Melee Core. Those 2 activations have about 25-second window of vulnerability so I use MoG as a stopgap and sometimes Barrier if I'm heavily debuffed. I hardly ever click Reconstruction. When are you usually available? I don't mind making time to meet up in game in the future and we can run whatever tests you'd like.
  21. Ignorance is my greatest strength!
  22. Well, outside buffs of course. No one toon is able to tank 4* without them. But in a recent stress test, it did survive that one room in Sister Airlia's (I think that's how you pronounce it) new incarnate arc that's supposed to be unlivable on it's own with no outside help. I'm not able to go back and find the thread at this moment but I'm still using the same build I offered up to @Snarky a couple of years ago.
  23. I usually have to be poked into starting a team when the situation calls for it. I'm much more at home crashing into teams like a ball of chaos and making it everyone else's problem. Maybe I'll start a random team this week!
