  1. I should have figured 😂😂😂 Fire/Ice has always seemed like a cool concept. Cool to see it getting some love.
  2. Am I seeing an Infinitum Ice in the near future? 😂
  3. Appreciate the insight! I grabbed Spinning Strike for the "cool" factor and the idea that it does give me some AOE. That being said, it does consume, so anything that pulls away combos from Crushing Uppercut I'm sure hurts the build. I'm guessing a build up combo, with the above build, would look something like: Shin Breaker -> Rib Cracker -> Crushing Uppercut -> Shin Breaker -> Rib Cracker -> Moonbeam. Rinse and repeat? 😛 haha
  4. Appreciate this. So we have heavy blow, but we typically wouldn’t be using it in the attack chain? I may drop something like tactics so I can pick up both, maybe open up options in the attack chain. If you don’t mind, could you share with me what an optimal attack chain without spinning strike would look like, and what one with would?
  5. This is fantastic, thank you! What is your main reason for taking Shin Breaker over spinning strike? The -res? I like some of the AOE in SS, so I might find some way to work it into the build. Unless you feel it severely gimps your damage output!
  6. You’re a legend Nihilii. This info is gold. Unfortunately for me, my Mac is not jiving with Mids at the moment. Is there a way for you to copy and paste the build in text form in the thread?
  7. Hi all, I rolled a StJ/Bio scrapper today. Only at lv 16, but REALLY enjoying it so far. However, I’m kind of flying by the seat of my pants with the build. Does anyone have a build they can share with me so I can have some guidance? Full disclosure: I’m playing on my Mac (I know, I know), and Mids currently isn’t cooperating with it. If you do have any sample builds you could paste here, it would be greatly appreciated! I’m also open to any tips or advice you may just have on the builds/powersets =] Thanks all!
  8. Just rolled this build. Lv. 16 so far and it's already a blast. You truly feel like a "control" tanker.
  9. I appreciate you taking the time to write this all down! I think you may have sold me on the SJ/Bio Scrapper (maybe Guyver or Power Ranger themed =P) It truly seems like it’s a “1 on 1” set and I like that. I have a lv 50 Claws/Elec Brute, so it might be nice to switch it up. There is a decent amount of info out there on StJ/Bio scrappers. Do you have a link to a guide you’d recommend, or perhaps a build you use? The procs sound spicy haha. Appreciate it!
  10. Awesome breakdown man. I’m really torn for my next scrapper. I have an EM Stalker, so it leaves my options as: Street Justice Claws Katana matched with either /Rad or /Bio. Any specific combo out of those you’d recommend for taking down AV’s/Fun Factor? Haha
  11. Really cool breakdown nihili. Obviously we discussed that EM is the kind of single target damage and fighting AV’s. I was interested to see Claws in there ranked above StJ though! What makes it so strong on a scrapper? And what secondaries does it mesh with to make it particularly good at taking out AV’s?
  12. You know, I never thought of this combo. MA has always been a set I loved (had an MA Scrapper back on live), but they hate has always been it’s lack of AOE. Fire would seem to solve that issue. I also here MA is pretty decent on tankers and brutes following some of its changes.
  13. Haha on the Psi/SD, that does sound like a good time. I have 2 shield tankers, and the Psi blades always seemed awesome to me. I have to tell you, I was going to run a Jedi themed scrapper with Katana/Nin, but you might have sold me on /Rad as the secondary, especially for fighting AV’s. If you HAPPEN to have a build lying around, I wouldn’t mind seeing it =P
  14. Super cool and interesting. Might have to give this thing a whirl.
  15. This is a great breakdown man, I appreciate it. I’ll admit, I was one of the ones that looked away from /Rad on a Scrapper due to it being a resist set. I didn’t even THINK of the synergy of meltdown with a scrapper (and the fact that there is hardly a crash). It seems like this could be a great team build due to all the -def you’ll be pumping out, while also having pretty good ability to solo AV’s.
  16. This is amazing man, thank you! Tons of good options for me to play around with. EM/Bio does sound like a monster. I have an EM/EA stalker who is probably currently my best AV fighter. My farmer is a Rad/Fire, so I get plenty of that 😂 Mace/Bio and StJ/Bio of StJ/Rad all sound like they could really fit the bill. I MIGHT role with one of those combos, since I have 2 shield tankers already. My worry with /Rad was that it might be more optimal on a Brute/Tanker since it is primarily a resist set.
  17. Nice man. I know everyone talks about TW/Bio, but what other power set combo would you say is a premier AV killer? I’m assuming /Bio is the best secondary for it, unless you think something like /Rad or maybe /shield could match it. I could see StJ/Bio being up there. Would love to hear your thoughts if you think there are ones that are better.
  18. Anyone care to share how they slot TOG in their DM builds now?
  19. I’ve been looking at this exact build myself. I hear everyone gush over stalker, but I miss the rib cracker animation if I choose Stalker. QQ: Bio seems to be the go to secondary when it comes to fighting AV’s or GM’s. Which do you think, on a scrapper, could be more powerful paired with it: Street Justice or Dark Melee?
  20. Nice man. Just curious, how do you think this set up would run on a brute with their higher resist cap? I feel like a Katana/Rad brute is an AV killer that I never thought of haha
  21. Nice! Not very familiar with Rad. Is it a primarily a resist type or defense type?
  22. Do you feel Kat/Bio scrap would be a premiere AV killer, after TW/Bio? Or do you think Street Justice would be better in that regard? I like both Kat and Street Justice, just wondering what the best secondaries for each would be when it comes to general content and fighting AV's.
  23. Honestly, I can’t argue with that logic 😂
  24. I could see EM/Bio fitting the bill. I currently have an EM/EA that does well, but maybe I'll roll it again haha. Good to know about Dual Blades. You feel it has an advantage over, say, Katana on a Scrapper? That also makes sense on having to have minions in order to get the most out of Dark/Shield. I could see it being a blast on ITF though haha.
  25. Yeah, I could see that build being pretty sweet fighting against some tough single targets with a lot of regen!
