Yeah, while I myself have never run a MSR (nor ever will lol, but I will help if/when I can), the only real "bug" (if it is that) I have experienced is when upon zoning into the instance, I find myself suddenly shifted to another team. However, two point about this... First, both GL & Maya, who usually run the MSR's I join in on (because they are both friends and are so good at being fearless leaders, as well as Psy too of course), seemingly manage to shuffle people back to the teams that either they were on, and/or place them where they will be of the most use fairly easily and with to many issues as they are very experienced and great leaders in this, even though I can only assume it can be annoying at times. They all do this without complaint, and things continue to run smoothly, and fun is had by all. Heck, some probably don't even notice this team switching issue, which can be both good and bad. 🙂 And second, on a more personal note, the last MSR I was on with GL when this shifting of players on teams happened, for a little bit I myself was moved around to no less than 3 teams as GL fixed the team dynamics, which DID happen. 🙂 However, as I keep track of all teams (usually), and I saw this was happening, I actually found this to be quite enjoyable as I was in the process of "visiting" all the teams as she was fixing things. At the end I was like, "Hey, keep this up please! I wanna make the rounds to every team if possible!" 😁 It actually became a fun little side game to me, trying to guess which team I would end up on lol. So this was absolutely not an issue for me at all, personally speaking. In fact, if you read this GL/Maya/Psy, I volunteer to do this every single time if needed/wanted lol! That was, you can spread the T-Love all around for everyone to either enjoy, or... throw stones at (or Rikti too, cause you, that's just ok by me as well lol). 🙃 So yeah, I do hope this little bug could be fixed, as I am sure some would find this annoying, but for me... so long as I don't DC, I'm good with it for now... 🙂 Now go out, kill Rikti... 😁

Totally this! I have had very similar experiences with my main, T'rel (Dm/Inv Scrapper here), during live as well. I took Unstoppable as well, and using it in conjunction with Dark Consumption & Dull Pain, even when no Inspirations could be had, made him nigh unkillable (even during PvP at the time). Of course, as others have said, these days who needs the T9 in most cases? Builds can be made to be, well... built so strong that in some instances, taking a T9 would make the character weaker, not stronger. So yeah, during live Unstoppable all the way, but now? Just build your character right and (most importantly), PLAY it right, and you'll be fine and never look back.

I would suggest that one could be placed in our little RP room with the sofa's so as to build on the atmosphere in there some more; especially if he/she is serving drinks lol... 😛 Also, to update... I just did my 3rd iMSR, and it was quite fun & rewarding as GL said it was, even though we were sorta down the number of Tanks we usually have (It IS Sunday after all 🙂). In addition though, I would be remiss if I didn't point out another plus or two for doing a iMSR instead of the normal one. No Drop Ship and No Rikti Event Invasion!!! From what I was told, the Drop Ship only spawns in after the shields on the mothership snap back on, which is a plus imo, because more than once I have seen the Drop Ship snipe people from the sky in passing (or even on the ground) while going from Pylon to Pylon. And I am positive that is annoying as heck to those sniped out of the sky like a clay pigeon. And not being harrassed by the added might of a Rikti Event Invasion might also be good as well. Figured I would mention these Pro's to doing a iMSR. 😁

This be a great topic GL, the T approves... 😛 That being said, I have done a lot of MSR's in my time, and recently have done two iMSR's, and here are my thoughts. Both are excellent, and GL is fairly spot on about the Pro's of a iMSR. In addition, I have never seen or even heard of anyone at 1st lvl being kicked from any MSR unless they were being a jerk. And that would apply with anyone really I would think. However, I did notice that in a iMSR, the pylon's on the map were not as marked clearly (in size?) then in a regular MSR. Be nice if this was fixed somehow, for those with poorer eyesight and all. Otherwise, a iMSR is totally working good and fine imo, though of course, time will tell with more experience if this holds out to be true in the long run. However, so far it looks good to me... 🙂

The first screen is T'rel's (my main, main), and the most "cluttered" of all my characters lol. Here's the bar breakdown... #1-#2 = Most actively used powers. #3 = Auto power & AoE one's I use with keybinds #4-#5 = Miscellaneous powers that I actively use. #6 All his active toggles. #7 = Some less used emotes, costume(s), & temp powers. #8 = Most used portal/TP powers. #9 = Less used Portal/TP powers. The second screen is Ms Yoga's, and is the general layout I most often use with all the rest of my characters. Here's the bar breakdown (as it is slightly different)... #1-#2 = Again, the most actively used powers. #3 = The most actively used Run/Travel & Auto powers. #4-#5 = Most, if not all, active toggle powers plus two most used Emote Macro's. #6 = The less used Emote Macro's & actively used Portal/TP powers. #7 = Powers that are activated by keybinds that I need/want to keep an eye on (like Hasten). Please note that I use a 32" TV as my monitor (so I have a larger area to see everything, and that the windows & bars are set to be a bit transparent so I can see threw them at most of the screen itself (like for keeping a subtle eye on teammates, enemies, and the environment and such). This main layout is always evolving though... 🙂

Hihi all... Recently I have tried to transfer one of my characters to the Test Server so as to test a slightly new build for it (obviously) before committing to it on live on Excelsior. However, I have been unable to do this because the characters that show in the available list to Transfer is NOT my current list in any way at all. Doing some research on the matter, I found out that this has happened before as the system was looking at old data instead (somehow), not the current data in-game list one would have. I will list the latest link concerning this topic below (and wanted to make a new post about it, instead of digging up that old thread and posting in it). GM's (and others too of course), please advise as to what is happening here and when it can be fixed as I'd like to make my test asap, thanks... Old Thread Link

Hey, thank you very, very much for this detailed info on Xp Boosters @Hedgefund! This was exactly what I was looking for and hoping to discover, so again thank you very much for your help... 🙂 And @Luminara, your reply actually confused me a bit until I read @Hedgefund's edit, so yeah now I understand. It was in regards to the Anniversary Xp Booster being released, but as was pointed out, it was released yesterday so no testing needed. Thank you for your input just the same though. 🙂

Ooo, excellent points Glacier, thank you... 🙂 So the question remains... Which Xp Boosters stack, and with which one's? Do all of them stack with each other, as they are from different sources? Or is it more specific and selective (if that's the accurate word for it)? 🙂

Greetings one and all... 🙂 I have a hopefully quick couple of questions about Xp Boosters, either the one we are getting from the Anniversary event (x5 Xp Booster), the occasion similar one we can get now and then, or even the ones' we can get from the S.T.A.R.T. (or all of these in fact, in regards to the Shards/Servers. 1) Does the Xp Anniversary Booster we get for the event stack with the ones' we can get from the S.T.A.R.T. vender? 2) If I am playing on another Shard/Server other than Excelsior (like Indomitable, or Reunion for example), and I use a Xp Anniversary Booster, will it stack with the bonus Xp increase from these Shards/Servers? 3) If the answer to #2 above is Yes, then what if I also use the Xp boosters from the S.T.A.R.T. vender as well? Will all three stack with each other? Basically, using the S.T.A.R.T. vender Booster on these Shards/Servers grant a x3 Xp Boost to your Xp (as the two Boosters stack), but if you add in a Xp Booster from the Anniversary event (for example), will this in turn change it to a x4 total Xp boost instead? So I am wondering if these types of Boosters stack is all, and how exactly? Thank you in advance for any info you can give folks... 🙂

Snarky... You can always choose not to use the other forms you know. Just go Human Warshade all the way is all (or in your case, a Vampire Warshade... Hmmm, come to think of it, that IS an interesting concept...). You can do it!!! 😛

Hmmm... I honestly did not think a Warshade did all of that via stealing essence. How dependant on enemy's is it (like is a single enemy enough for it)? I think I'm going to have to do a bit more research on the matter here (anyone got a good one or two places to start by chance?). And Snarky, those Mids numbers sorta look right to me, though I am no expert. Looking at them though like you listed, sorta makes me wonder why some would rather play a Blaster then a Sentinel (besides the range difference of course, which IS annoying). I mean, with the exception of Blackstar (with it's 55.6 difference), the rest is only a few pts difference. In the long run, sure that can be a factor, but in the mid & short run I wouldn't think so. In either case, I'd be interested in seeing what you wrote as its the basis on what you want to make. Might give me (and us too?) a better idea on what you are shooting for (visually I mean, instead of just Dark, Dark, Dark, and... Dark 😁)... Ohhh, and if anyone can come up with a 4th Dark, my bet is on you Snarky... 😉

To answer your original question Troo, the simple answer is... NO!!! You cannot have too many lvl 50 characters, let alone ALT's! So start making some more will ya? You got 1000 slots to fill with them, so get crackin lol!!! 😁

Been there, done that, got the shirt, returned it, had it given back to me, the store closed down, etc... In the end, life and these things happen sadly. Just gotta "try" and shrug it off, and keep moving forward in a positive way is all... 🙂 And for the record, I too never, ever, put anyone on ignore (even though sometimes it's very tempting). Rather see the bullets coming, know what I mean? 😉

And I think that sum's up some of the theme of Snarky's post... communication, or lack there in, and "maybe" the brains of the person who is forgetting to do it... 😉

Hiya Snarky... 🙂 Read your post here and at first I was like, "Holy Dracula Batman! Snarky made a non-Vampire character?!?" But then reading further, it all just made me smile and happy that you finally made such a character that you really like. 🙂 I do have a tiny suggestion though, if you like... Make another skin/look for the character; one that is a Vampire (or even a Vampire/Demon combo), change all the fire power effects to DARK, and bang... You got another soul sucking (and burning) Vampire from hell. 😁 Just a simple suggestion... 🙂
