Some of you old farts got too many rules, im just tryna get loaded and be a hero

My end heavy builds tend to use 2 chance for end procs max, generally by the time you have a power to slot 3, your end problems are in check anyways, and its better to fit in the random +heal to stack with pancea. But if you think you need more you can always experiment with 3.

just would like to bring up: when my Grandpa was playing this game on live before he passed on, He had many 50s, was in a Top 10 SG on Justice Server, had many friends and was extremely well liked. He was a slow paced player, and much of his information, he relied on our prima guide from 2004; He used the wikis for badges but wasn't as you say the most cutting edge player. Now looking at his 50s, his builds, his IO sets he had, most would assume he was Top of his Game; but it was from the aid of our combined understanding. He commonly would call me to help him from getting lost in a mission. He would forget simple things like binds and emote strings that he had memorized for years; resulting in more and more time street sweeping and just doing what he Loved in this game. And not once, did he tell me he was kicked. Not once did someone yell at him for forgetting how to get to a zone. No one abandoned him for getting lost in missions. He wasn't removed from his SG. He wasn't held back from completeing Hami raids and sadly he didnt get to see the incarnate trials release... Everyone was genuinely trying to help. In summary, what im trying to say is; I used to get frustrated explaining the same concepts over and over to him, and he in turn got frustrated with himself; But take a step back and breath, don't mean to be saying the same ole rhetoric which i find so out of taste... but we should be friendly and respectful to one another, for we have one thing in common. This game. Especially to a returning player. much love

dont want to offend you but i take a liking to folks who die alot too, tend to give them goodies and stuff. If they're hot thats just a bonus

You get taunt in all PBAoE's and thats what i tend to rely on myself. However like stated on my Tank's i usually grab taunt.

I only mean overkill as in unnecessary . Any build can be invulnerable without the drawbacks of Stone, its just fun in it's own rights

I don't have Mid's or anything, the build is just in game, but i'd be willing to share it

I got one its a monster but it lacks heals, shreds +2 x8 S/L no prob, handles +4 group settings, but relies on debuffs/heals to survive occasionally. It's really a fun build, but it has it's holes. Mostly those unlucky crits that come through your softcap def on one of your more lowered resists, like neg nrg at 50ish %. Essentially the nictus fight in the itf can get hairy but most other content isnt bad. The damage is pretty powerful, But it isnt some Spines/Fire. But the hits def feel like they hurt the mob and you get larger tasty numbers and big kd. I know for my Aoes is Oblits with 1 proc like siccs for th set bonuses, luck of the gamblers globals in all the mules, like grant cover and i think the final auto you get., mu is slotted with i think ghost widow or lockdown and positrons blast. essentially i just looked through sets and tried to get my recharge high for my teleports to be up ever 15-20secs capped my s/l your defenses cap themselves, the real choice is if you want ageless or the resist one, the resist one is going to give you capped to everything and in the long run, its probably a larger impact then the regen your getting from ageless and the extra rech.

My Stoner sports speeds of 30mph in granite, and about 18mph with the poop boots on as well. My recharge is still subpar, but once I got Ageless, its actually net positive, about 80%.. Its a niche, and you need to be a pro with teleport for the vertical task forces, like ITF and States, but I was able to tank Lord Recluse with all 4 beams on him, no earth's embrace. I also pair my stoner with Kinetic Melee because the animations are slow like my recharge and looks really cool when a giant slab is doing martial arts! Edit: Its a ProcMonster build and actually does large burst to counter its lower recharge, extremely fun, but def overkill.

Yo this is really neat. I got a 39 Elec Defender that would love a spot here, too bad, So i'm def gonna roll up something new probably along the lines of support as i can see this getting very interesting =] I'll keep a lookout for you guys i just migrated to the server from reunion

Brutes although able to tank, are more of an off tank. Tanks are tanks. This is how it was, and how its always been. If anyone says an AT is useless, or even a power set is useless, is narrow minded.

I'll have you know my granite armor moves at 30mph! it only sucks when i have to do tfs with lots of vertical movement, bonus is i can walk through any mob to my group and just not give a damn, pulling them to the AV/GM/What have you. I can tank lord recluse with all 4 beams active on him. Im sure it is sub optimal, but there is a reason you and i play it, and that's that its unmatched in every other comparison. Yeah you need to build around movement and rech but normally you'd build around rech and your defenses anyways. Theres simply a method to the madness. To add on as well, my favorites have to be Rise of the Phoenix, Spectral Terror, Inertial Reduction, and now that i see everyone's feelings on it, the entirety that is /Regen =]
