  1. OP has my full support! Also, make Hami instanced! For fucks sake this is exactly why it needs to happen! Allowing 1 worthless fucking loser to waste everyone's time is unacceptable!
  2. If the focus is only leveling as fast as possible, I don't think anything will surpass AE Powerleveling. 1-50 in 3-4 hours if it's just the farmer and the lowbie on the map. It's been a while since I've done that but I think it was 16 or 17 runs of the tunnel farm.
  3. Love to see info like this! Thank you Icesphere!
  4. The other question is, when? Leveling up, troller pairs can really shut down the enemy and play very safely but will often be a bit lacking in damage. They'll get through it just fine but it doesn't always feel great or efficient. A Kin with FS can negate that to some degree but that's a specific case. Once they get to the mid 40s or 50+ the bloom like crazy with procs, set bonuses and epic/patron attacks. A pair I haven't tried yet is a Troller and a Dom. That would give you tons of control, 1 toons with a dedicated buffs/debuffs set and 1 toon with a dedicated damage set. You think that would smooth out the rough spots in the leveling process?
  5. I wanna play one of those all VEAT TFs so badly, I bet its amazing fun! Unfortunately, everytime I see one advertised I'm either in the middle of a TF or about to log off... I'll catch one eventually! When my buddy and I leveled out Veats, we paired them together (Widow and SoA, then we swapped) and it was very smooth leveling, VEATs really compliment one another!
  6. Lol! I had to look this one up, what an awesome turn of phrase! Now I'm gonna be looking for ways to work this into conversations!
  7. I made this a few years back but played her just last week and nothing seems to need any updating. It's an absolute beast of a tank mage! Might be my favorite troller! Controller fire dark v3 Toot Sweet.mxd
  8. Thank you for the clarification!
  9. For this one I've heard that if you inflict enough damage fast enough, the mob swaps to run away mode that overrides taunts. I am not certain this is true and have no proof so I hope I'm not spreading misinformation!
  10. The english language is not capable of fully expressing how thoroughly I disagree with this statement.
  11. Yeah, thats fair. I think I had a window from 30 to about 40 where that resistance would have been helpful since some of my resist numbers were coming from set bonuses in powers that I didn't have yet. But your point is taken, it has limited utility.
  12. On a resistance based armor, sometimes I'll ignore def entirely since it can be stripped away so easily. However if the build allows, I like to shoot for 32.5% Melee def. Then you're within a small purple to softcap for rough spots.
  13. Yeah, I think balancing the solo aspect of this would very difficult. If the answer to a fight mechanic is CC and im on a Stalker, I'm probably not going to have an effective way to counter that mechanic. Maybe adding it as an option would work, like a low level hard mode option. I'm not opposed but it would be a tricky thing to implement.
  14. Yeah, I'm with ya! Really just dropping the crashes would be huge! I'm finishing up a claws/willpower scrapper and I only took Strength of Will at 47 for a 1 slot mule of the unbreakable guard HP unique. If it didn't have a crash, I would have taken it much earlier and actually used it instead of relying on inspirations to get me through rough spots. Better recharge would be fantastic too but I'd settle for just making them a little more useable in general. Look toward Icy Bastion for an example of near perfect t9 implementation.
  15. I'm on board for a KB to KD toggle or Null option. I hate paying the converter tax! However how would it work if, for example, you were a Energy/Martial Blaster and you wanted to convert all your Energy attacks but leave the awesome Ki Push unconverted?
  16. @UltraAltGreat explanations, thank you! @RaikaoFair point, I'll add a brief description to the macros, thanks!
  17. Fire/Dark trollers are great! It's the most tank mage feeling toon I've made! Such a beast! Check out these defense numbers, and those are on top of the mountain of -to hit you'll be tossing around. Great combo! I went with fire epic to boost my resist and I really wanted Fireball.
  18. Hey, this is literally how I play 95% of the time! Playing with a buddy and we only play those toons together so they stay equal level and level up on story arcs and TFs 1-50. We've repeated this at least 50 times so far (just started a new pair last night!) and we've found lots of combos that are great fun but the fastest to level and most brutally efficient pair of toons we've found are a Tank and a Blaster. Rad Tanks and Fire Blasters specifically have provided the best results but Bio and Invul are great tank alternatives and elec blast and rad blast are great blaster alternatives. In your OP you say you're thinking about a rad/stone tank and fire/kin corr, that will be a great combo and you'll have a blast with them. I'd still give the edge to a tank/blaster combo but only by a hair. A couple honorable mentions: Stalker/Stalker runs are stupid fun! I think the pair of Elec/Shields were the most fun for us but lots of combos work well. We made a pair of Arsenal trollers that were devastating! I was Arse/storm and he was Arse/Marine. We were punching way above our weight class. Tank pairs don't work very well.
  19. Salutations Champions! I made myself a new toon checklist because I got tired of getting to the first EB/AV on a new toon and discovering that I forgot to buy Envenomed Daggers or something similar and I figured others may get some use out of it too. Disclaimer 1: this is all personal preference, there is more you could do if you'd like but this is the stuff that I feel is worth the price for a brand new toon who intends to leveling up organically. (I wouldn't bother with most of this at level 1 if you're powerleveling.) And, of course, skip whatever you goes against you particular playstyle. Disclaimer 2: This will set you up to level through the early levels fairly quickly, if you'd like to spend more time at the low levels or prefere a greater challenge then skip the XP Boosters or Amplifiers. So make your new toon and head over to Pocket D at level 1 (don't forget to grab the exploration badge on the second floor by the table). With all the advantages I get from following this checklist I set mish diff to +1 right from the get go. The money left after buying everything is enough to buy/upgrade SOs till mid-game where I'm slotting set IOs. Unrelated to checklist low level advise Hope this helps your trust fund babies!
  20. I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for but as a temp fix you can make a macro that will consume small inspirations and bind it to a key you use all the time like your targeting key or the W, A, S, D keys. You'd have to specify what inspirations to consume by name (gets around the wakie issue) and it would prioritize what gets used by the order in which you wrote the macro.
  21. Placate is
  22. I'm probably not doing it "right" but I buy winters, ATOs, and converters with merits. None of that ever gets sold, they go into my builds and then the rest is bought from the AH. I farm a bit to keep the coiffers full and to keep a nice stockpile of purples and PVPs. Many of the most commonly used enhancers get bulk lowball bids that fill with time so stuff like LotGs, Miracles, Steadfasts, Unbreakables, ect don't cost a fortune. An average leveling build will cost me around 50 - 60 million plus 1200 - 1800 merits. Then by the time that toon hits 50 and I'm ready to start another one, I've already replenished all the merits I used. I've played the AH game in the past and I'm just bored with it, as long as I can keep making and setting out new toons without heavily engaging in the AH, I feel like I'm coming out ahead.
  23. I've always pronounced it "Sue" as well and my extensive study of Chinese take out kinda makes me an expert, no big deal.
