Yeah I was going to put a Perf Shift Acc/End and Efficacy Acc/End. Think that would be good enough? That gives me 150% with all the other bonuses. So maybe just throw a couple of acc/end IO's in there and be done with it?

One other question. How effective is it to slot -end in any of the electric powers? Does it floor their end any quicker or is it better to just hit them with dmg etc?

I have some extra slots hanging around. Ok so Synaptic Overload gets Malaise/Coercive. Static Field gets minimal slotting. So where should I throw the Will of the Troller? I usually like to put in something like an aoe that fires often...but the aoe hold recharge is forever and it was mentioned not to put much in the aoe immob (or go with procs). How to slot Conductive aura, Paralyzing Blast and Static Field if I have some slots to give?

Excellent. Consider it taken. Any powers not to take between Elec and Cold? I like to take Box/Tough/Weave usually but if I can’t fit in then Maneuvers will have to do. Thematically taking Ice as my Epic (Hibernate/Shield and Ice Storm). I was going to skip Snow Storm and Frostwork in the Cold set.

I was thinking of skipping Static Field....the aoe sleep. I mostly team with others...thinking sleep will be fairly useless. what do you think?

So I have decided to build an Elec/Cold controller and I'm curious the best way to slot the various Electric powers. Which one to put the Will of the Troller set in etc. I have looked at the Proc monster builds and I usually try to do something in between that and a actually getting some set bonuses. And I like having more actual control instead of focusing entirely on damage output. Any advice on the electric side of things would be helpful. Thanks!

Dark/Dark How Do You Build This??? Lack of Slots

Yeah howling twilight as often as I could because my teammates were eating dirt 🙂 But he regularly shoots spikes up from the floor that hit pretty hard no matter if you are flying or not. The room is quite small and there is no escape. We think the fact that he was in effect a 57 AV is what really kept the 5 of us from doing any real damage. I am a 50 +3 and my teammates were 50 +1 so it was a rough fight. -
This is what I have done except I use the S/L comic con farm with my Rad/Bio brute. I don't do it much anymore but I discovered during a wife aggro that I could leave it there and come back to a mostly clear map. When I was really broke I would run the game in the background while working other things on the computer. Check back every 15mins or so and restart the map. Pretty boring but it's a good 3mil per map clear. Then sell all the other crap that drops. Probably equals 5mil or more per map clear. To ME...that's a lot...but I know a lot of you are pros.

Dark/Dark How Do You Build This??? Lack of Slots

Funny little mini story...me and some SG mates were doing the Mot AV mish in DA the other day. There were only 5 of us and he had it cranked it up so Mot was a 54+3. I was the only troller (Dk/Dk), we had a SS/Inv tank, a sentinel, a water blaster and something else. We didn't even put a dent in him but after about 20mins on him they had faceplanted faster than I could rez them. They went to the hosp and came back several times. Then entire time I never died...and a few times I was in there with him by myself. That was quite satisfying I must say. We didn't have enough firepower to do much to him and I only have my Alpha at T4...the rest are T3. And none of my mates had T4s at all. They were amazed when they kept coming back and I was still there debuffing the hell out of him. Apparently he saps end sometimes because my end became a problem a few times since there weren't enough enemies around to use Soul Absorption to any real benefit. Fun fight...will return with more people eventually. -
I will say that I use Howling Twilight all the time. Like nearly every fight. That and HoD is great when cast back to back. If there were one power that I use very little on the list it's Darkest Night. I only use it for heavy hitter bosses because everything else crumbles too quickly.

World of Confusion procced out is pretty devastating if you play in the middle of mobs. My Fire/Dk melts mobs with it...and other mob melting powers of course.

Yes Fire is fun. It really depends on how much defense you want vs how much damage you want to contribute. Dk/Dk is safer but Fire/Dk contributes more dmg. If the brute loses aggro on a mob you might faceplant more with Fire 🙂

Anyone have a Elec/Time, Elec/Dark or Elec/Kin build floating around I could examine?

Fire/Dark has some extra dmg but less control. Dark/Dark has all the debuffs and control you need to neuter the dmg output of anything coming at you.

Is there something new from back on live? I just remember the huge stalagmites etc which drove me crazy. Did they make it so you can eliminate some of that stuff? I hear so much about time but those damn swirly effects get on my nerves as well. Can you change those too?
