Fear Deserves its own Purple/Very Rare Set
Dona Eis Requiem replied to Mystoc's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I was actually going to suggest that at first but, I thought it was kinda boring. The random effect seemed a bit more flavorful and "fear-specific." -
Fear Deserves its own Purple/Very Rare Set
Dona Eis Requiem replied to Mystoc's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Proc : Widespread Terror - Witnessing the utterly terror-stricken state of their counterparts, all foes within (insert appropriate range) have a random effect applied. Hold/immobilize/stun and even confusion all seem an appropriate fear response. -

Question for CoH 3D printer concept
Dona Eis Requiem replied to Techwright's topic in General Discussion
I'm not sure how much you've done with 3D printing but it seems like cookie cutters are a thing within the community: https://3dprinterly.com/how-to-make-3d-printed-cookie-cutters-successfully/ IF that endeavor doesn't work out you can always do a freeform outline cut for your cookies. There are food coloring printers that print an image onto a sugar sheet for transfer, or you can do a food coloring outline to the cookie and use piping to outline and flood them the "old-fashioned" way. -

On December 24, 1914, an unofficial Christmas Truce was enforced on the Western Front. An act of trust and harmony, British and German soldiers mingled and played games together in the midst of one of the most atrocious events of the 20th century – World War I. PCGamer.com writer likes CoH Halloween
Dona Eis Requiem replied to SuperPlyx's topic in General Discussion
CoH ToT has been my favorite seasonal game event since the first time I played it. Loved running around the different zones with ToT teams and Katie Hannon TF's 'til our eyes fell out. The Hotel 666 with Banner runs and GM hunting have been a blast on Homecoming. A sincere thanks to all who keep it an enjoyable experience. Can't wait 'til next year <3 -
True. I've been grateful for the league leaders who take it to Kallisti Wharf or the RWZ on occasion (and the attentive ones in PI, also). If there's nobody there in PI to knock on the doors there won't be much to leech.
-
This may be an unpopular opinion, but it seems like it would be far easier to simply go back to running at-zone-level ToT teams. I know when the league is a bit leech heavy, going solo ToT is more fruitful, as you observed. It's not so hard to simply move on to the next zone when one is out-leveled. People just got lazy and turned ToT into an out-of-AE farm.

I was pleasantly surprised with a new fan-made vid for the Marilyn Manson version of 'This is Halloween' Naturally I had to create a new character after listening to some more MM and thus, 'Antichrist Superstar' now roams the streets of Paragon and the Isles.

Well there's your problem right there, you have to join in the full league chaos to see the levels melt away. I've had this happen as well. Sometimes, there's just not enough people to fill that team yet (if yours is the newest addition to the league). Other times, there have been several teams left unfilled for some reason. Getting stuck with the AFK'ers really botches it if you're there for the XP. I just take my lowbies and go ToT alone on those days and have much better gains. I haven't lead a league so any opinion as to why this happens would be only a guess. Some days you win, some days...not so much.

Absolutely yes! My Dom, Polaris Snow, uses Martial Assault as her secondary. I wanted more of that set to be ranged. It would be so much fun with object option you suggest and open up a lot of thematic options.

Overused or not, it's always an appropriate response.

This one's for all you Plant Trollers and Doms (last one tonight, promise) * I know others have Confusion but when you see the vid it will make sense. SVDDEN Death - Confusion Spell

I can't believe I got that name!
Dona Eis Requiem replied to DoctorDitko's topic in General Discussion
Okay, we need pics to go with these names! I can't decide if this one's really small or a Pocket D regular/bouncer who keep folks in line. -
So my spooky SG 'Horror House' is full of heroes from a very dark predecessor to Crey's Revenant Hero Project. During this time, Crey weren't just stealing hero DNA and making clones, they were making actual revenants. They are the resurrected corpses of fallen heroes but they retained too much of their humanity to be of any use to Crey.
