What is Titan Weapons like for Tankers?
Heraclea replied to TheGentlemanGhostronaut's topic in Tanker
You want a set and forget primary with endurance help. Willpower and TW make a fine combination. -
New Alt goal: Organization-killer characters
Heraclea replied to Menelruin's topic in General Discussion
I've also noticed that Radiation Armor seems almost immune to the Sappers. But I tend to discover my characters' nemeses through their paths in the game rather than by design out of the gate. My character Catrina is on a mission from the Aztec gods to rub out the Skulls. She is a Bio/Spines tanker, which isn't targeted at the Skulls particularly, but does quite well at killing anything lower than her in mass quantities. She discovered this mission when she joined a KR team working the new Skulls storylines and that put all the Skulls badges in easy reach for her. She always was based on the Day of the Dead character. Heraclea is increasingly disturbed and paranoid about the activities of the Vanguard. As an Inv/DM tanker her powers aren't particularly targeted against them, though. -
how do you create Hero One DNA Sample from Threads, etc.
Heraclea replied to Omega9's topic in General Discussion
FWIW, shards and the shard components are ONLY good for alpha abilities. Once you get your chosen alpha to t4 the shards are of no further use and you have nothing better to do with them than to convert them to threads, which remain useful until everything you want is at t4. -

You will also want the Crucible. They offer similar temp powers, but one eats Tech salvage and the other Magic.
-
Most bases I make will have something like this. Makes a nice dramatic effect.
-
The temp powers that are probably the most helpful to you as a blaster are the ones you can craft at the Crucible and Supercollider empowerment gadgets in a SG base. You can get handy buffs to recharge, recovery, and resistance to most forms of mez there; there's quite a long list of these. https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Empowerment_Station

I am going to make a second and possibly a third account just to get more AE slots.

T4 Barrier helps a lot, but if it's a master run I will want to make sure I am getting some sort of buffs from a defender, controller, or corruptor on the team. I also hoard large purples and oranges for this purpose. Never learned to execute the method of glitching Recluse by flying, and the jet pack does not seem to be fast enough for this either. Master runs tend to fail on Ghost Widow, since bad luck against her can result in a very long forced AFK.

Not sure there are any sane politicians in Paragon City. That Alderman fellow has clearly gone off the deep end. Spanky Rabinowitz sounds like he was a real charmer. Perhaps there's more to be said for Councilman Birch, but his constant rants about eighty years of treason and how FDR betrayed us all to the Rikti get old after a while.

Wandering through New Dark Astoria, I came across some Talons of Vengeance worshipping a winged golden gorgon head. Could this design be made available as a costume logo for shields and costumes? Or, added as a supergroup logo? Making it an item that could be placed in a supergroup base would also be nice.
