This has quickly become one of my favorite scrappers, even if I don't think the concept I was aiming for at creation really translates too well into actual gameplay. I invested fairly heavily in her; the live build grew in ways far different from the plan above. This one, not the TW/WP scrapper, is the one that got both sets of ATOs. One in Body Blow, the other in Burst. I think they work better on her for a couple of reasons. She is a whole game scrapper, unlike the TW/WP, who struggles at anything below 35. This one is still fun to play on a Moonfire or Penny Yin. This also means that she threatens to take over the role of my basically unslotted Fire/Regen scrapper who is built for stuff like farming Synapse. Making her a little bit faster than other characters does in fact work, even if the effect is subtle. She does well on incarnate stuff like Keyes, where 'don't stand in the stupid' is an important strategy. Unlike the regen or TW/WP, this one tanks well for a scrapper, and can hold a fair amount of aggro. The TW holds aggro for as long as the AoEs and cones are up. This one pops Ground Zero and Particle Shielding and holds the mobs' attention that way. Kinetic Melee is meh, with weird noises and animations. "Taste the power of Jazz Hands!" The top tier single target attack is solid, capable of one shotting many even level lieutenants. The AoE is lackluster.

If you want to make a character for whom endurance draining is the main attraction, roll a double electric blaster or corruptor. That said, electric melee is a fine choice for an AoE based tanker.
-
I have a regen scrapper who is very useful -- my goto character to run a Synapse -- but I would not enjoy being a regen brute at all. (A regen tanker would make an archangel cry; fortunately, Pine's to the contrary, there are none.)
-
By 'highest recharge' do you mean fastest or slowest?
-
I would expect that Titan Weapons would be fairly painful on a Brute, seeing that it has no quick recharge and animating attacks.

Small suggestion: No more nerf herding threads

FWIW, the drama started with the proposed destruction of Titan Weapons. -
I have them on my Kinetic/Rad scrapper. Finding a place for them with Titan Weapons is a bit more difficult, if only because TW doesn't really have lowbie attacks that you can spam.

This is very much how I build my own characters. I use frankenslotting liberally here, because I prefer to emphasize core competencies rather than chase set bonuses. The only pricey things here are the recovery uniques, which you may not need with /bio, and which I always buy with merits if I don't have a spare in the shop. <Ahem>Ahem</ahem> Technically, the differences between US and UK/Commonwealth spellings are the work of Noah Webster, the fellow for whom the several Webster dictionaries are named. English spelling itself is one of the worst systems in the world, worse even than Gaelic or French, and really only Burmese and Tibetan compete with it for being unintuitive and unwieldy. Webster added to the lovely chaos by introducing a purely artificial difference between US and British English, without doing much to make the system more sensible or less random.

I've pulled the Great American Skull Fry (still haven't found a GM who understood why I needed more slots to keep the ratings} and published "Jerk Hackers!" for your delectation and amusement.

My kinetic/radiation scrapper got the Medic badge tonight. I finally have a healer I can bring when somebody wants one.

Taunt aura on Rad armor seems fairly strong. I generally am able to keep most mobs interested when I am the only melee on a team. Using Ground Zero early and often may also be a factor. Have not teamed on the character with a willpower tanker since I got the ability AFAICR. That might be an interesting comparison. (Got the 'Medic' badge tonight on the character. Now I have the healing scrapper I always wanted.) For tankers, Willpower and Reflexes are the weak ones. The rest are approximately equal in mag and duration, though the damage ones get an extra helping. Never had issues holding mobs attention on a Spines/WP scrapper running Quills in the old game. I know Regen scrappers get nothing of the kind at all. Do not know if any of the other scrapper secondaries are like that.

In hindsight I rather regret leaving the game for a year and a half -- inventions intrigued me but they took a while to figure out -- but leave is what I did. It was more the flawed mechanics and artificial difficulty of World of Warcraft that sent me back, but I didn't really return completely until Cimerora. There are fortunately other servers now.

IIRC, the one official, GM organized costume contest that I participated in, several months ago, in Kallisti Wharf, had homage characters as its theme.

FWIW, I have many high level characters that never took Hasten. Heraclea doesn't; it doesn't do enough for Dull Pain to justify it, she doesn't need Dull Pain often enough to want it, and she took most of her secondary attacks so it does little for her attack chain. It does benefit scrappers, brutes, blasters, and other DPS characters significantly enough that it may be worth taking there. I don't unless I know that endurance is already a solved problem on the character. The blaster sustain abilities probably made it much more attractive to the class. Let's see no more nerf-herding. Please. Bad enough that I'm preparing myself mentally for stripping, replacing, and retiring my first level 50 scrapper, because I apparently Chose Poorly when I rolled Titan Weapons.

IIRC Acrobatics allows Knockback enhancements that, when slotted, provide an extra measure of knockback protection. This may be a PvP build where (I understand that) knockback protection is at a premium. I am also curious about what might happen if a KB to KD enhancement were slotted there, because I know its PvE effect is a huge negative to knockback from the power.

IIRC, in the Paragon Studios days, the name 'Hercules' was not allowed in AE missions, which wrecked my Latin language AE adventure and is seriously out of bounds. Marvel cannot own the name or concept of Thor, son of Odin, wielder of Mjöllnir, any more than they can own the character of Hercules. Disney also has a Hercules, of course, because anybody can have a Hercules. I cheerfully admit that Heraclea's main costume is inspired by Wonder Woman. My Wonder Woman fandom pretty much died with the New 52, unfortunately.
