Please actually read what I said. I literally mention normal nukes, and how they can still finish off some mobs AFTER another nuke basically wiped them. And the same with every other Judgement but Ion. Using Ion just after someone else results in zero happening..nothing. You keep harping on about people with 'less lag,' since clearly, the only reason someone can ever use Ion before me, is because they are lagging less. As well as harping about being locked out of Ion..which sounds way more fun than using it, having no gain AND it gets placed on that long recharged. That already happens. If your own words, what fun it has become! Or maybe read the rest, where I said it could maybe be JUST greyed, but not locked. Then people like you could STILL press that button, get your sweet endorphin rush, for no gain and be all happy. While others would just hold off on pressing it, and get use from the power. Also..you realize the game already tracks everyone's power usage to some degree? That's why we have Combat Stats and damage logs. Given how old the game is, and Internet Speed these days, I doubt tracking Ion to an extra degree would be a big problem. -

Can we stop saying 'Judgements,' like it was EVERY Judgment power? It only happens with Ion Judgement (which, to be fair, is easily the best at hitting huge amounts of baddies). Sure, other ones like Pyronic have exactly the same problem as other nukes (or aoes), in that someone else may have hit it just before you, but all those powers still WORK. Even nuking a mob that was just nuked, while it wont do as much damage, it will still certainly clean up any minions or Lts left alive, and may even finish of a boss, so it inst doing literally no damage at all..which happens with Ion Judgement. This sounds like a great idea to me, and at they very least, your Ion could be USED (yes, used, not fired of with no effect at all) and at least damage something, instead of just..zilch. I cant see the griefing angle at all. Oh no, I cant use my Ion cause someone else did. Isn't that a good thing..to stop you wasting it entirely? Worst case you wait 5 secs and use it next mob..knowing it will do full damage. How about make it a Null the Gull thing? If you want to, go ahead and keep using your Ion with no effect at all. I'd happily take a power lock (or not even a lock out, just make the icon change color as a warning) out and fire it off when its gonna work. -

I think the Adaptive Recharge is a great idea, and makes things like AoE long duration holds a lot more usable. The suggestion here, to have some kinda similar effect applied to Team Buffing powers would need to be carefully balanced, if at all feasible. Would it be for ALL team buffs? Would any 'shield' buff (therm, ice, bubbles) be able to be used on yourself? If you were solo, would an Ice shield that gives +16% def to team mates (number pulled outta thin air), give 16% when solo? Half maybe? Then when does it stop giving ANY benefit? Or would it bottom out at 3% (5% res, equal to the unique +def and res IOs)? Would it also work with other buffs like CM, Clarity, Forge, Forge, Adrenaline Boost? As 'fair' as that might be (if shields worked on yourself, why not single target buffs)..I cant help being cynical, especially in regard to things like Fortitude. After playing with way too many awful emps (and any other AT with single target buffs), I cant help thinking Emps would just fort and cm themself, and be as lazy as they usually are handing out team buffs. But enough of that. But another idea I had..what if it also worked on AoE attacks, with their rech and end cost. A fireball that hits 16 targets costs X and has X rech, but why would a fireball throw at ONE person (ie, you know there's only one target, so you don't put as much aoe power into it) cost the same? -
They look amazeballs. That's it! Great job to whoever designed the effects! Also..the Effects for Mystic Fortune kinda remind me of some of the Pyro ones (or vice versa). Were the asses borrowed at all? Just curious. Also also..Force FIeld bubbles. I saw one today with a more 'techy' hexagon effect, rather than the normal swirly one. Am I going mad, or has that option been around awhile?

Mainly: What was the justification/reasoning behind Devour Psyche being a cone rather than a PBAoE? I cant think of any powersets (aside from maybe claws and spines, with the aoe cone) where a Cone is not way way worse than a PBAoe. I am a scrapper..I dont want to stand in front of a mob to use use a cone (most of the time)..I wanna dive right in and let my Aoe's and any offensive/defensive secondary powers go to work. Other musings: Every secondary armour set has a click Heal now (some like Dull Pain being +hp as well). Maybe the 'drain psy' type effect makes more sense, but just looking over the powers, I think a click heal would have (have to play more, my scrapper is only 17!) helpful. Also with Harmonic Mind already beinfg a power..the set having now auto (or tacked on) +rec and +_regen feels..odd. Every other new armour set has this. A agrro/taunt auro that gave +recorery (and maybe regen) would have been pretty unique. How are people finding Psi Armour?

They are meant to work with the opposite side, but twice now, I have tried to do a Blue Side (lock box) mission as a Vigilante, with a Rogue helping, and it wont let them destroy the box.

This would also make a lot of sense if your toon is (costume, bio or rp-wise) a monster, creature, alien, or other gender type. -
Had never heard of Axe Cyclone. According it Mids it has a Repel effect? Given how much I hated the repel they tacked onto the Storm Blast cone attack...

I have seen him. He actually messages people who dont have an SG and asks if you wanna join. More annoying to me..is that he has SUper SPeed on, while kneeling. With teh particles. Pet peeve. lol

All of this. I may have missed it, but why are people so focused on a badge for this being a bad thing? Form a TF in LFG, as a Quitter TF. 8 people who want the badge join, start the tf..everyone instantly quits. Unless there was some kinda time/missing threshold..but even then. You want the Quitter Badge? (and why not, I reckon it sounds cool) Join a Tf with some friends, all go AFK for dinner etc, come back, quit. Shiny badge. Or as Storm said..just start any TF solo and quit. Honestly, I'd like to think all (most) of the trolls have gone, or never came back. If they really wanted to troll by quitting a tf (and is it trolling, unless the rest of the team cant finish the tf?) they can do that right now. I am sure some creative people could come up with some cool background as to why their hero/villain quits on jobs (hopefully besides just being an ass).

I remember back on Live, Poison Debuffs (weaken and envenom) USED to be single target only. God that was painful. The devs had a thread gonig on possible changes, and one of the ideas was to give those powers a 'splash' radius and make them an AoE. Makes sense thematically and helped the set. But as mentioned, the aoe's arent huge, with multiple applications being the idea. Only..it doesnt really work. With a small mob, sure (but even with a 2-4 person team you may miss someone at the edge of the pack..like a Sapper), but a full team? Nope. Of course, this is less of an issue in a full team, as there will be other debuffs, damage, aggro taking etc. But the exact same thing could be said for buffs like Sleet, Tar Patch, and the Rad toggles, which hit an entire mob 99% of the time. The difficulty as I see it..how to make the main Poison debuffs great (single target, great, mobs, not great) without just turning them into auto hit toggles like a lot of other debuffs. The change to AoE's was good but (and someone correct me if wrong), the poison aoes aren't even 'proper' ones, because only the target gets the full debuff. This is unlike any other aoe debuff in game (maybe that Marine TP power is closest?) but really drags the set down, as not only do you need multiple applications to 'maybe' hit an entire mob, but they wont all have the full debuff anyway. The 2 powers at least should have the same recharge (makes NO sense to be different), and the AoE debuff set higher, if not at the full value. A radius bump, at least 10 or 15 (Darkest Night..25!). An effect similar to Disintegration would be very on theme too..like a proc change for the debuff to spread (to targets currently unaffected) to mobs within range.

Even if you had the OPTION (dont have to) of doing your 3-5 Radio/Paper missions + Bank with some kind very loose narrative. The person who gets the missions has the option, which then selects the 6 missions from a differ Pool, so they link up somehow. Could be as simple as Stop Archon Max, which then turns into Oh no, the Council got a Responmetron again! The missions could be all one faction (maybe get boring), or a mix, with the final Bank/Safeguard having all Villains/Vandals altered to be the mobs from the missions, sort of link a mini Task Force.

I mean...sure. That's a reason. Is it gonna change anything though, a long charge 30 sec click? Pretty sure it wont. There is already a much easier (and more useful) accolade in Demonic Aura vs Archmage, which hasnt seen flocks to redside. Likewise, we have Atlas Med vs Marshall, which has the opposite issue. Is Marshall gonna get adjusted too? Wouldn't it be better to make things basically equal and then let people play where they like?

As Vanden said... I was able to confirm that Fortitude does NOT interrupt powers. Are you saying that other powers like Speed Boost behave differently? Edit: I tested Speed Boost, since OP specifically mentioned it, and it does not interrupt powers either. I play a lot of Stalkers and Blasters (granted, Slow AS gets used less with the stalker proc), but I still cant even think of a buff knocking me off doing either slow attack.

Given how Barrier Reef manages to be a flying (haha, cause of course reefs fly!) and pretty zippy..doesnt really make sense to have FFG still crawl along. Triage Beacon could (wishful thinking) also fly or at least be mobile. Total dream, but having Acid Mortar mobile would be amazing too..but perhaps too hopeful. Just messing in Mids and on a Beam/Traps Corr, both Overcharge and Temporal Bomb (I didnt even KNOW the power now did recovery and an enemy slow!) are 'extreme' damage. Only Overcharge does 290ish with Bomb is 120. A High damage attack is higher! Also the other Mine is Superior and higher, unslotted. I know the 'in melee' playstyle is Traps thing, but maybe making the bombs 'throwable' like an AoE could work. But they it might just ruin the playstyle.

I agree with teh spirit of a few things here..but.. So its the games/mechanics fault cause you are to lazy to even try? I Know I hardly ever do Hami or MSR, because they just get boring. I run heaps of TFs when those are both going. And again..you couldn't even be bothered to try...(although, again, I do understand where you are coming from) Damn, I forgot all those SFs are made for teams of 8. Oh hang on..I duo all those with a friend of mine. The ATs don't really matter as long as the players are good. Get Shivens for the AV fights, done. Who needs a full teams (esecially when some are likely to be AE babies as you mention)? And why can't they ask that, if you are the one if LFG asking for members? A lot of people don't like forming teams, and no doubt get to choose the content they run a lot less often. You wanna do something specific and no one else is starting it? Form it. Again..why should everyone WANT to lead? ANd if everyone wanted to lead, you'd end up with 8 people saying 'WTF LFM' at the same time. Then none of them join the other 7s team, because they all wanna lead. Not gonna touch the bit about some folks not knowing how to play the game, as I agree. But on the bright side? If you are leading, and end up with someone like that on the team..well, kicking feels pretty good (assuming they are like a lvl 50 pl'd ae baby, not an actual new played). Basically..we already have incentives to run stuff. If you wanna do it, do it. If you cant find at least one good player to be friends with to duo most content with, there are worse options that dual boxing a kin/emp/rad etc -
Oh you are right, I misread it! What has that got to do with the toggle cost? Im not saying the set CANT handle the cost, cause it can. I am asking..why is it so high.

Very true. But. If you case ST on the Reef, the buff it gives out is 100% nothing, as the buffs only comes online when the anchor is being attached. Which of course, it will be..sometimes. In a big team with a meat shield, they will be getting most of the hits. If you are solo, well even then, the Reef buff wont be 'as' strong as it could be, because you will be taken hits too. Don't get me wrong, its kinda nice that it does not cause aggro, but I still can see not logical reason it doesnt. Its a debuff toggle..every other toggle cause aggro. And that end cost?
