There are enemies in the game that will do -Def and -Res, this needs to be taken into consideration as well. Which means you will have to try to rely on one or the other to make up for that. If you run into enemies that do -Def, you'll need all the Resistances you can get to mitigate the fact that you are being hit more often. If you run up against enemies that do -Res then you will need to try to rely on your Defense to keep you from being hit so you don't take all that damage that you can no longer Resist. While there may not be as many different Types of damage as certain levels, there will still always be SOME of those enemies no matter what level you play. Yes, you can somewhat pick and choose what you go up against, but what happens when you are on a team and someone else is doing that picking and choosing and they decide to go up against enemies that do damage you weren't planning on ever going up against. Enemies that do Psi, Fire/Cold, or En/Neg. You'll be glad you over-prepared and went on ahead and maxed those out as much as you could even though you never planned on running against them. Everybody here keeps trying to give you suggestions on different ways to build the character to try to make some improvements in this regard. You keep shooting them all down because, I don't know Pride? That's why I decided I would just stop with the suggestions. You weren't taking them and seemed to be getting upset that anybody would change up your build.

I did some playing around with the build and came up with this instead. Almost gives you soft-capped defenses to everything, but does give you 90% resists to everything except for Neg and Tox without the use of Barrier and using Agility instead. I would recommend either Elec/TW or Shields/Elec with either Pyre or Mu Epic Mastery. Both will give you a ton of AoE Potential. With Elec Armor you can cap all but Negative and Toxic Resistances at 90% and Shields is easily soft-capped to all Defenses giving you really good survivability.

Scourge just does extra damage as the enemy gets weaker. Sonic lowers the Resistance of enemies so therefore granting you more damage the lower their resists get on top of double damage from Scourge. Psi is one of the least resisted damage types except for when it comes to some Mechanical enemies. So therefore Psi will already have high damage capabilities with Scourge just adding to it.

My favorite is a tie between my Elec/TW and Elec/Kat. Both have 90% resists to everything but Neg En and Toxic. TW has more AoE goodness, while Katana just mows stuff down fast. Super fun builds to play. -

I keep some, but I also have Conserve Power which helps out in that regards as well. I usually don't run Focused Accuracy unless I absolutely need it.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd recommend a 9-9-3 either. There is no way you can rotate through all of your attacks that fast. I'd recommend 5 maybe 6 attacks at most. Also some of the Primary Powers can be skipped as well. At most I would probably recommend 8 from Primary and 6 (MAYBE 7) from Secondary. You really do need to consider slotting and IO sets when it comes to builds. If you have too many powers that need to be 6 slotted there is no way you will get them all maximized for efficiency. I can always see skipping at least one of the Primary powers as it will usually be very situational upon usage. I never try to take more than 5 attacks and at least the Aim or Build Up power in the Secondary. After that it's all Power Pool and Epic Pool powers from there.

So for PvE builds you will want to stick more with the S/L Defense than Fire. S/L is more common in enemies than just pure Fire is. Fire farms are built with the idea that Fire is the only thing you will going up against and therefore will want to max out Def and Resists so you can easily stand in the mob and soak up the damage while you kill everything. For PvE you will ideally want to try to see if you can max out positional Defense instead of Typed defenses. Positional Defense doesn't care what type of damage you are dodging, just where in relation to that damage you are. So if you are in Melee and Melee Defense is capped odds are regardless of whether it's Fire, Energy, Toxic, etc. you will be able to dodge it 90% of the time. If it's just Smashing Lethal Defense then any other damage type will hit you more easily while in Melee.

I find myself usually 4 slotting Maneuvers with: LotG Global Recharge Kismet Def/End Kismet Def/Rech Kismet Def/End/Rech Gives me a 1.5% End Recov and 2.25% S/L Res. Most of the time this will help me to push the Hard-Cap of S/L Resistance and help with my Endurance issues as well.
