I had a hard drive fail on an 11 year old laptop, and lost a beloved text file of binds I had created for over a decade! Is it possible to save to a text file binds that I have applied to characters on the server? I would love to have them again. The good news is I splurged on a new rig and can't wait to get back into the city! Thank you for any help.

As somebody who primarily solos, both in game and in life, I don't see what the problem is. Perhaps we just change the reputation from The PVP server to the Soloist server? I love Indom, I am more likely not to bump into other players. Perfect.

Off topic, but on topic... Best Vampire books I have read are Brian Lumley's Necroscope series and Dan Simmons' Carrion Comfort . Both offer excellent writing and plot that make each much more than just vampire novels. They involve the Cold War and Nazi Parapsychology respectively and are truly creepy. Salem's Lot was very good as well ( the book) but I suspect you are familiar. Wetbones by John Shirley links Vampires, The Elder Gods, and a psychic serial killer and is a very brutal evil insane novel.

As a test, switch the primary and secondary colours. That may produce the effect you remember. Also, if you typed everything in correctly... you should no longer see any pulsing. Type or cut/paste exactly these two strings into the chat window and hit enter after each: /SuppressCloseFX 1 /SuppressCloseFXdist 300 If you have a mousewheel, scroll in and out to see what I mean... Pulsing should stop when you scroll 50 feet away from your character. Good Luck!

I believe you can set close FX to off in options. You can also turn off visual effects on your own character for any power pool. /bind KEY "SuppressCloseFX 1$$SuppressCloseFXdist 300" This will turn off your auras and armors visual effects for you, in your view only, unless you scroll 300 feet out. Others will still see them. change the number as you desire to make the effect re-appear. 50-100 is a good middle ground. /bind KEY "SuppressCloseFX 0" will turn all the visual fireworks back on. Pick two keys you like.

Mine is only level 32 I think, and I don't even have an exported build, I have just been taking stuff that feels right, only basic IOs so far ( I am poor) I notice I don't have many spots for LOTG yet. I did not take Fighting or Leadership, but might pick an epic/ancillary/patron that I can slot Def in. Thank you for the help!
