I love to to see all the returning/new players. I have not experienced a queue yet, even when in the red. It changes my current project from working on ALL my alts to developing a presence on all the shards. 🙂 It means more base building ... YES!! The downside has been that more people are using the Ouro portal and hanging out there, and the same is true for the SG portals. Especially MM pets. This has been discussed in other threads before, so I am not sure if there is a solution.

There is keymapping in game through the options menu. I have set it using a button on my mouse. Not a bind/macro Casual players should be made aware of them. Edit: to add. I have only two. One for Hami and one for sappers. Since Live I have used what is available in game.

Currently working through alts...yes mostly at 50. but... I do all the Atlas Arcs for Badge Shining Stars ... badges Posi 1 and 2 ... all the TF in the 8-30 range DFB and DiB, badges 🙂 Frostfire ...because ICE ROOMS!!!

You have been given a lot of great advice that I agree with. I would put a hold on the Epic Archetypes for now. They can be a bit complex based on the amount of choices you can make power-wise. For Example a Peacebringer: Triform - human/nova(blaster like)/Dwarf(tank) BiForm - Human/Nova, Human/Dwarf, or Nova/Dwarf (kinda rare) Human And ... we have not even talked power choices If interested check out the guide by @Laucianna I also recommend holding off on Master Minds. They can be a bit complex control-wise. In truth, you can setup your Henchmen/pets to just defend you and roll with that. Or , like me, have binds and keymapping to control each one. It can make a single solo mission fun tactics-wise. At least for me. Both of the above are tremendously fun to play. Advise you to wait a bit for them. My advice: dabble across ArcheTypes(AT), you have a lot of character slots for a reason. You have been given great choices. If you find yourself liking a particular one, roll another. Powersets within ATs can behave differently so dabble within ATs as well. Check out the Archetype board for advice Explore our awesome wiki 🙂 Have fun 🙂

I agree. Reading Watchmen, particularly the Ozymandias character arc, has made me rethink this a little bit.

you missed the point of my posting. but first... Absolute disdain for this part - "git gud" community, min/max, and cookie-cutter builds. NONE of those terms apply to me. I find them toxic and generally used by fragile egos who don't like to be disagreed with and/or have a "better than thou attitude." Mostly while pontificating down to us from the hilltop. I don't even use MIDS, except when I put in a COMPLETED build, that I am currently running, because I feel it isn't performing the way I want. Out of 200 characters I have done it ... TWICE. Currently working on a character on Blueside, no dblexp...using only DOs and SOs. THIS ALL OF THIS. Never said it was useless. The Buffs in Empathy are just as important as the heals.
