I don't necessarily disagree. Some people use DOs and SOs. I am going that path on a few characters. It gives the feel of the original game. Also good "currency" to sell off if you are not using them. The D-sync and Crystal Titan fill some gaps in the Hami-O choices. Certainly open to more Hami-O choices, but most people are filling sets or Proc-ing out their builds.

If you don’t like it, no problem. Just say “I don’t like it”. You don't have to say why if you don’t want to. If you have a reason why you don’t like it, please tell us why. Focus your response on the idea, not the person. And yes, there are times where Assume Good Faith fails. If you suspect anyone who is in this camp after several attempts to ask questions to direct the conversation towards a productive discussion (e.g.: trolling, baiting, abusive posts, etc.) you don’t need to reply any further. In fact, the less people who respond to such posts, the faster it fades in the forum as active and recent discussion will overtake it. You can vote with silence, so to speak. (This also works for “dead horses”. Silence will make the thread fall in visibility.) If you’ve seen the idea before, we prefer if you discuss the idea in the more recent thread instead of “necroing” a post that folks have forgotten about. You can say you disagree with an idea, but when your most recent reply from yesterday is for a thread that was made in May 2019 it’s probably a waste of everyone’s time. I take the Sorcery Pools Mystic Flight to gain the Translocation(teleport) that comes with it. Currently on a Blaster with Flight, Hover, and Evasive Manvuers... I love the precision EM gives. Super Speed builds momentum. Once you figure out the drift when you jump, pretty awesome way to cover the city. I feel Combat Jump limits this, but could be my imagination. I don't use the Speed Phase that comes with it much, but it does come in handy sometimes.

You have a ton of character slots- Powersets within Archetypes can behave very differently, so experiment. Explore the options>Menu, especially keymapping, so you can set up how your keyboard and mouse work with the game. You can save this and then upload it for each character. Eventually, you can learn how to make keybinds, macros, etc. The UI is flexible too ... set it up how wish Play the tutorial. As a first-timer, it will help with game mechanics, etc. Character Name - You can change it at any time; names may be taken, so you may need to be creative. Be mindful of copyright infringement. Big no no. An homage is fine, the more clever the better 🙂 Bio - I take my time on the bio. Usually, I just have the name and let the story behind the character develop. It can be short and sweet, or epic. Your choice.

It is a tough call: Ice/Ice/Ice Tanker. She can handle stuff 🙂 or Peacebringer ... My PB. He has three full IO'd forms: Trifrom and two Biforms - Nova/Human and Dwarf/Human.

Then go in and tweak what you want Beware of the link costume colors - that means the colors are the same across the costume, you can click that off to tweak colors to individual costume pieces You can also do asymmetry - left and right arms and legs being different Same to your powers - A color scheme across the entire set or you can create a different look for each power Check out the Friday Costume Competition 🙂 Go slow - Hero or Villian, Blue or Red - take your time. Think of joining a Super Group to see how bases work. They can be big and sprawling or small and efficient. It is beefy, like our costume creator, and is FREE! You can build your solo SG Base 🙂 There is a forum thread for it. Setup your UI however you wish, keymapping is an option ingame, but most people make their own. Separating Chat - I recommend separating channels into separate tabs. Helps to see only what you want to see. ummm don't forget to have FUN 🙂
