I would say the full armor set with tweaks, but definitely weaker because of intent to share the benefits with pets, which would be the inherent power of the set. -

I'd leave the MM attacks in and keep the sets intact for the same reason Steampunkette mentions using Assault sets, being that there's only one AT that uses them so it would improve chances for additional content or work in that category since any suggestions for them now are usually met with "why work on something that impacts only 1 AT?" But maybe change some values like reduce endurance cost since the MM/armored class will likely be running armor toggles and attacking along with the pets, or maybe reduce damage of the pets' attacks so they don't overshadow the true MMs' pets but instead of buffing them with a secondary your pets can share some of the benefits of your armor toggles when you're close enough to them, making them a little more durable. -

Actually, I'd like to see the whole host of iNPC groups available as placeable objects in base, but that might be a bit much the way NPCs are available to us, which is picking male or female with a pose, as well as a select few more unique options like trainers, nurses, and HeroCorps operatives. I wish we had a way to select a model, then set it's pose/animation and function (none, trainer, store, etc). Would love to be able to have a jail section in the base and put people/things there who look like they belong. -

That'll never happen due to limitations on how things move in the game. I'm sure they could make a temp power that makes you look like a car, but your movement wouldn't be altered in this form, which means you as a car could jump, strafe sideways, spin 360, drive up stairs, etc. There's also terrain to consider. We have cars on city streets because they follow a fairly flat path of smooth surface. When you start driving up stairs, over rough terrain, too close to objects that will clip through the body of the car, etc.....it will look like it doesn't fit into the game environment. It could be everything you dream of and you'd be willing to overlook these flaws, but they're not going to release something that doesn't look right. The car request was made often back when the game was Live and they had paid developers looking for all kinds of ways to incorporate stuff that players wanted. They said it couldn't be done. Now try to imagine a team of volunteer developers who have other jobs and contribute to what we have now with fewer resources and support. This just isn't the game for player cars. It was disappointing even back in the old days. I'm sure we all some degree of Batmobile-style desires. -

I tried to include some of the overall feeling of what makes each stand out and play it up from their perspective why they are the best. It comes out more with the villain ATs, but I'm especially fond of the tanker song. Most of them are "we" this and that, but the tanker stands alone and sings from the "I" perspective. MM song is fun too with its strike with many attitude. The corruptor one starts out with the same lyrics as defender, but quickly takes a stand about being better than defenders and blasters.

How about replacing "instead of" with "in addition to"? Like maybe the next time they put an event idea together, do something more in line with what you're suggesting, and then they could see what's more popular.

I imagine it could look redundant when combined with the Spines attack set but imagine a set that's defense is rooted in the fact that targets hitting you in melee will be risking impalement in addition to the spines deflecting attacks away from you. Because spines are usually associated with toxic damage, give it a toxic damage aura and it would have a high resistance to toxic with a mix of moderate to low defense and/or resist for other damage types. Maybe add a low mag disorient effect to one of its toggles along with some damage reflection (maybe a % of melee attacker's dmg, i don't know how much, is returned to the target as lethal due to hitting the spines) Why? Because we have spines in various styles already, so easy to implement a spine armor effect. Other power types have complementary attack and mitigation sets Dark/Dark Elec/Elec Energy/Energy Fire/Fire Ice/Ice Rad/Rad Stone/Stone

Now to address the original question: vehicles were brought up to the original devs on live, and I believe the main reason we never got anything beyond jetpacks, skiffs, surfboards, and magic carpets is the way movement works in the game engine, such as strafing. Imagine a car is driving down the road and instead of turning, it simple goes left or right onto a side street by moving sideways. Or a parked vehicle starts spinning 360 degrees in place. Or probably other physics defying maneuvers. I guess you could disable strafing along with jumping, but the more you take away to achieve realism, the more you are hindering what's supposed to be providing better transportation than running along on your own power. That was the reason I remember them giving against cars or motorcycles in open discussion, limiting us to just flying contraptions. -

My only note: shouldn't her red flame aura match her eyes and sword? Like why aren't they red or why isn't the aura orange-yellow? Otherwise great design with the leather and lace demon.

Robo-Zeus cracks me up, because I'm thinking of that damned owl from Clash of the Titans and what if Zeus was busy or tired or locked away somewhere but the gods needed someone to act as a figurehead in his place? Hephaestus could totally whip up this guy, and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't already have a stand-in for each of the other gods with dreams of somehow replacing all of the true gods but himself and then having his creations treat him with the respect he feels he deserves but never got because he's the ugly god that Mommy Hera threw off Mount Olympus because she couldn't bear the sight of him until he grew up and proved his worth with his creations. Maybe I'm giving too much thought to this.

I think we need more glowing costume options, and the first thing I'd like to see added would be all the chains pieces being given the Spectrum coloration treatment. Consider what you have but as photo negative with his glowy flesh reduced to a dull flat tone with glowing chains wrapped around him. Or maybe he glows and the chains glow in a different color. Still, this is pretty cool. Good job.

As for anything that impacts only 1 AT, then why not just do away with the mastermind AT altogether if nothing will ever be done for them since they're fairly unique? If the argument is that they can still gain new features from their shared secondaries, then I say they just aren't worth keeping around. Either give MMs SOMETHING for MMs after five years or just put them out of our misery. -

Again, I ask that instead of trying to shoot down ideas, maybe try contributing in a positive manner. Use your great knowledge of the game's code to suggest how the idea could work instead of just dismissing it as not currently possible and thus it must be impossible. -

Tell me again how and why a specially designated pool of powers that are not the standard set of Pool Powers can't be chosen until level 4.
