Imagine and savage critter attacks for a whole Birds/Night of the Dead crossover or thugs impressed with their beam rifle toting leader. plus adding new ranged pools based on existing assets would be easy enough. We could have things like robots led by an electric blast hurling MM ninjas following a storm blast MM zombies and the MM has water blast attacks colored blood red beasts trained by a sonic blasting MM demons erupting out of the ground and the MM hurling lava colored seismic blasts thugs following a fireblasting MM mercenaries loyal to a psychic blast MM

This looks like how I'd do insects as MM pets.....in swarms. But I think I'd do it with the army ants as the tier 1 pet, swarms bees would be the tier 2, and then the giant beetle size of a small dog as a tier 3

Sentinels have a number of variations from the standard powersets, such as regen being different, but also pretty much all their blast sets have noteworthy alterations as well. This is because despite the typical assumption that they are basically scrappers with ranged attacks and no crit, sentinels are a different AT and meant to be played differently than tough blasters/reachy scrappers. Making some changes to how their powers work achieves this.

league leader being able to set team leaders could help with this. sometimes a 50 team leader bails or disconnects thru no fault of their own, leaving a team without high enough leader and the next person down the list is automatically promoted. But if that person is AFK everyone is waiting and complaining because nothing can be done until they return to the keyboard and promote someone else. actually, not entirely true. the league lead can tell the team members to quit and then he can reinvite them after booting the non-responsive team leader.

I mean... why not? I've played a kin/NrG stalker with Sorcery pool + Psi Mastery ancillary giving it additional ranged attacks. With prestige attacks Blackwand & Nemesis Staff, I have a solid ranged attack chain, and pity anything that gets too close when I placate & assassin strike.

I was speaking facetiously, of course, highlighting that typical mentality.
