Badges for quitting TFs, badge for kicking people off teams, badges for lack of good badges every 10 levels which shows minimal effort or participation. I don't know, I'm not really serious about it. But if it were a serious idea, you could also add a good badge at every 10 levels for having acquired none or no more than a very low number of the shame badges to incentivize teamwork and participation.

Lack of good badges for just being farmed up should be just as bad as having a bunch of badges of shame. Maybe even get one of those shame badges for every 10 levels acquired without having achieved a certain number of standard badges to show for it.

I would love to see more resistance survivors and activity in zones outside of the core three of Praetoria. After you finish there and are level 20, you can be given a choice to go to Primal Earth as a hero or villain or be "exiled" to explore the Hamipocalypse to find survivors and help them in their battles, maybe all the way up to level 50 and incarnate stuff. Maybe introduce some DE corrupted versions of standard mobs like DE with Freakshow components, or some 5th Column Warwolves with DE abilities. Imagine getting jumped by wolves dropping DE resonators.

Maybe what's needed is a badge system for negative "accomplishments." They wouldn't be badges of honor but representations of shame. Play through to 50 without accumulating any to be a legend, or otherwise as few as possible to avoid having people scrutinize your character and realize just how horrible a player you are.

As a side note, the "death penalty" isn't always accurate. Like the many people who never kill criminal NPCs but only arrest them, my characters never die but rather are knocked out and just need to be awakened.

If you want more difficult content, play with only SOs and skip over any freebies at the START Vendor. Not hard enough? Use the notoriety settings to increase mission difficulty. Still want more? Play TFs and set specific challenges prior to starting. You want bonus XP, get it from the START Vendor. There doesn't need to be a new mode to accommodate every masochistic desire out there. Routine play is and should be routine. I don't want to see penalties and rewards for accepting them for using rez inspirations or powers, especially not powers which are designed to be part of the character's routine play. You get knocked down, use a primary or secondary power, but when you get back up you start feeling burdened because you used the power too much. Nah, not interested, not even as an optional mode. I'd rather see development time put to more useful and constructive things.

What do you expect to happen if you just enter ragdoll mode? Fall down or randomly flop around?
