I don't grok the EA love. By the numbers it looks awesome but it's always felt so clunky to me. Or maybe I've got hold-over bias from back when it was released and REALLY sucked.

I've always stated that I love defense sets like SR partly because of how much nastiness there is heading our way that just never lands, so I can absolutely grok the benefits of the softcap, but even then, I wouldn't want to run any of my SRs without Practiced Brawler. Mez is absolutely LESS of an issue when softcapped but it still happens enough that it annoys heavily and does so for at least 50 levels since there is no way to perma RoP.

I fail to see the difference between earned inf and earned incarnate stuff. Both take time to gain by killing enemies.

But there's the rub, I see a build without 5 LotG +recharges and 5 purple sets for another +50% recred and I think THAT is self-gimped. But we don't get to make that call for other players.

You can get to vet lvl 100 without crafting incarnate powers.

Never underestimate a person's ability for the absurd. I get your point and agree but I could easily make a truly horrible character were the mood to strike.

Honestly? It's rare that I don't see other people when flying between missions.

That's precisely what I DON'T want to see. Make them harder with more team buffs and enemy debuffs. Make them harder with better AI. Making them "harder" by increasing their meatbaggedness is a nonstarter for me.

I still hate that I have to lean on clarion core for all my squishies to be tolerable.

/checks underwear. Yes. In all seriousness, I don't get why anyone ignores DA. There is no faster path to T4ing your incarnate powers and for those that want to avoid AE, fighting +4/x8 with 3 lvl shifts means you're getting +4 rewards for fighting +1s.

Say what? I hovered in the hollows! Point in the right direction, go eat lunch, pour a beer and have a smoke, come back to the computer and hit the forums for a while... eventually I'd get to the mission.

Also one of the joys of playing energy melee. CORPSE BLASTING! Which is especially painful to watch when you're solo.

You're not wrong. Just know that some of us are NOT in that camp. Edit: Smart people are around here. There should be a way for us to both leave the lowbie game alone AND increase diff/rewards for those that can/do push it.

Fair enough. Lots of people quit for lots of reasons. Always have, always will. I certainly don't want to see a time where soloing with SOs at +0/x1 becomes impossible any more than I enjoy seeing some builds waltz through the toughest of the tough content without even having to pop an inspiration.
