  1. It wasn't just the crappy pylon time. Realized over time that the sound FX were grating on me.
  2. I just started a new purge process. I suspect my base bins will be quite full with good stuff shortly. Yea, there are going to be several 50s nuked from orbit. Mostly tanks. Future plans? Have a fire/plant blaster that I've been enjoying. She does play more like a dominator with better damage. Beyond that? Time to get busy on accolades for my existing T4ed 50s that don't have em yet.
  3. It's apparently great for stalkers. The set's never felt right to me and I was one of the people absolutely ecstatic to get it. Finally, I could play a straight up Fisticuffs set and not have to cobble it together from boxing, kick and air superiority on an intentionally gimped super strength character. But even back before the snap, something never felt right. I've got SJ/Inv and SJ/WP brutes. The WP will probably get deleted as superfluous. I'll keep the Inv just cuz I like her concept, but won't ever expect much from her. I think it's the gimmicks. They just don't work out for me. Dual blades combos. Titan's momentum. StJ's combos. Staff's forms. (Granted, I do have a staff/bio that just lives in Body/Offensive modes, but even there I end up NOT using the attacks that would remove the lvl 3 overall damage buff) Even Beam weapon's disintegration is apparently frelled. I get the flavor thing but when the flavor detracts from the set instead of making it better then it's a bad flavor.
  4. I'll be deleting my beam/bio. On the plus side, my fire/bio sent just soloed Proctor Sinclair at the end of Vertrano's arc as a 54+3 AV.
  5. APP/PPP pools appear to crit, yes. Why those and not regular power pools and brawl would appear to be nothing more than an oversight in coding. Ummm, scratch that. Air Superiority has a crit chance listed. Boxing and Kick are also stating a 5% chance of special damage. Flurry lists it as well. Brawl appears to be the only one that doesn't. I stand very corrected. Now whether the powers ONLY have a 5% chance to crit or go to 10% for LTs, Bosses, etc is unknown. Verified Kick crits. Set it to auto against an AV. I'd need to analyze the logs but it sure seems like it's only 5%. Which is wrong against an AV.
  6. The AT IOs can be slotted very early. (Is it lvl 1?) At 50 you can use enhancement catalyzers on them to make them superior which improves the base states of the set.
  7. Just gimme Wolverine level regen and I'll take over the planet.
  8. I can certainly see the argument for allowing brawl and all power pool attacks to crit for scrappers. Perhaps that's something else @Captain Powerhousecan correct moving forward. EDIT: CPH, ignore except for brawl. But if you could verify that all pool powers crit as per normal crit rules (5% for minions but 10% for everything else) and that the scrapper AT IOs increase those chances, that'd be awesome.
  9. Nah, you can stick in whatever attack. It's a one shot activation that doesn't last very long. No clue how it would act in, say, a damage toggle but I bet someone around here does.
  10. If you're talking about the AT IO crit procs, the Scrapper's Strike Crit Bonus is passive and can be slotted anywhere, doesn't need to be activated. I have it in Swipe as the only slot/enhancement, for example, and swipe is never in my power tray. The Critical Strikes +50% Proc, however, must be activated. I've got that full set in Followup so that when it fires off, I'll have a much higher crit chance on focus and slash.
  11. I'm not denying that. Just saying the mark was never hit.
  12. Just in the general spread of performance.
  13. Thus backing my complete mockery that this game was ever "balanced around SOs."
  14. I got to the seafood buffet at the end of mission 1. I survived but quit the tf when I got bored of using nothing but focus and shockwave and bouncing over the buffet to SLOWLY tear them down. Any time I tried to dive in properly to get my normal kill rotation going, the lobsters would all fire off sunless mire and start pummeling me into the dirt.
  15. No, you do not! SR UBER ALLES!!! 🙂 I wish the like button on posts was a thumbs up instead of a heart.
  16. Negative. Passive scaling damres is unaffected by slotting. You're probably not going to see capped damres until you're much deeper in the orange/red on health. Standing idle, I'm at 48.06 SL DamRes. With 3 stacks of the tank AT IO proc (6.7*3 = 20.1 so 68.16,) leaving 21.84 to cap... 45% health would get me 15% from scaling resists and another 5-6% from reactive Def Scaling Resist proc... so yea, you should be hitting capped SL DR at around 40-45% HP with all that junk in play depending on how much you're getting from tough and set IO bonuses.
  17. I'm in the 1st mish with BZB tank, incarnates unslotted, Werner rules in place. What I'm noticing the most is the slower kill speed. On the mitigation front, yea, being without barrier's extra damres or my Seneshal Carnie healing/buffing me is apparent BUT I'm still sitting in the middle of the crap and the scaling damres is keeping me on my feet. That said.... there's no way in hell I'd want to sit through the AV fights like this. Not even sure I'm dishing out enough damage to match 3rd mission AV's regen. Geez, takes NINE cycles of my FU, Focus, Slash chain to take out a single boss.
  18. Was that no incarnates clicked or did you unslot them completely?
  19. Maybe @arcanavilleknows. I don't even know what the .132 tick was based off of or whether it was linked to physical hardware or based on something in the code itself.
  20. Especially solo at high difficulty.
  21. I saw a mention of it. But I've seen no data so far that leads me to believe it is no longer in effect. Recharge on my attack chains is still apparently following it to a T.
  22. But then you have to figure in Arcanatime. ArcanaTime = [RoundUp(CastTime / 0.132) + 1] * 0.132 from http://web.archive.org/web/20120904191140/http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?p=810428 MS actually takes 1.188 seconds to animate PB takes 1.584 secs TB 1.716 secs This becomes more important when attempting to calculate exactly how much recharge is needed per attack for the tightest attack chains you can muster. Example: Claws Followup needs 313% total recharge pushing it for a truly seamless Followup, Focus, Slash, repeat chain. Reworking with the proper animation times to get a more accurate DPA, and for quick reference you can use Bopper's spreadsheet from https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/22358-would-something-like-this-be-of-interest-to-anyone/ We get a list we can use that puts the order as follows: TB GSB PBS PB MS ML Interesting that the Psi Blade Sweep cone has the third best DPA in the set.

    Hulking out?

It can all be color corrected. Even the adaptations. You just need to go through each power to select the option.
  24. And give it a secondary effect that you can use when not licking pavement.
  25. I enjoy my rad/regen sentinel but it's a concept character. Melee regen is atrocious. Need regen for tanks after the set has been overhauled. (Also energy aura for tanks.) MoG is total garbage and should be the first item looked at for a complete replacement.
