  1. Folks gave you plenty of reasons why in the other thread. Not going to rehash them all here. This is unreasonable request for the team we have now and not needed. And you have not given a clear definition of power gamer. This sounds like another absolutely useless rail against powerleveling in disguise As said absolutely unnecessary.
  2. You're asking them to devote resources to potentially two different code bases. That seems unrealistic with the VOLUNTEER team we currently. Also completely unnecessary.

  5. To me feeling super isn't just about me alone feeling super. I actually LIKE that more teams can blow through mobs of trash in missions, with the AVs being the main "show". That feels closer to team comics to me than what Jack's vision was. Just saying.
  6. This discussion also leaves out if HC has the manpower to do the balance pass that would be necessary to re-balance everything around various types of IO builds. They don't.
  7. See the rest of my reply. I edited while you were typing. Sorry. The Inventions system (I consider crafting to be a part of that, just like the AH is) was said to be optional. I don't think that should change. EDIT: Also I have some characters that use pure SOs, some a mix and, some frankenslotted with SOs, Common IOs and Set IOS, some full on SET IO builds
  8. The answer to that is no. The game should be continued to be balanced around SOs. Full stop. If and when FULLY CRAFTED Common IOs and setIOs start dropping from casually defeating Minions, LTs, Bosses, EBs and AVs THEN and only THEN should they start to think about balancing around IOs. The Inventions system (I consider the AH and the crafting of all IOs a part of that) was always said to be optional. Starting to balance around IOs breaks that idea. Some may say it's past time that the Inventions System stop being optional. I would vehemently DISAGREE. I'd bet many more than in the forums echo chamber would also say so if they were asked.

  10. Sure, if it's optional based on difficulty settings you the player set. And if folks who join your team are told ahead of time that you set this.
  11. I pretty much only use it to get stuff to convert into to make funds and then use those funds to buy what I need. And to sell purple recipes. Any other time I'm vendoring yellow and white recipes I get.
  12. To be fair that was true on live as well even without incarnates and super IO builds.
  13. Unless something drastic has changed the Devs had already made it clear what style of aggro they want here on HC in various threads. I wish luck to those who hope to change their mind. Honestly if it changed it would make the game vastly easier for me. 😄
  14. And would make the game hella more boring and even easier than it is. I think you'll find a very vocal group of folks who DON'T want the game to get easier. They've been all over the forums for months saying so. LOL

  17. Herding was boring as hell. I say hard pass on increasing aggro is that is where we intend to go back to. No thanks, the other servers can keep that.

  19. You want at least ONE in some incarnate content. More than one, questionable. And you definitely need tanks in the Hamidon Raid.
  20. Meh tanks and brutes already have a reason to be. To me having the cap be increased would give LESS reason for a SECOND tank or brute on the team, and more reason to invite more AOE. If they do it great, but I can see it making this game even easier than some folks complain about already. I'm okay with making the game even more easy though. 😄
  21. If they increased it with some of the farming builds I have seen and use for various ATs, it would make farming stupendously easy. And as has been already said, why would you ever invite a second tank to the team, especially when EVEN MORE AOE would be needed. Some folks already say the game is too easy with "City of AOEs". I'm . . . not seeing how this wouldn't make the game even easier. And those folks would not be pleased.
  22. And this is why I never store influence on the market. I just store it on other characters. My paranoia about something like this happening. UGH!
  23. As long as it's an optional mode you can select from the difficulty options. Leave the base game as is please.
