  1. I find the tentacles extremely ugly and disturbing actually. So one vote from me against. 😞
  2. No thanks, unless they can make changing it an option. The visual is nice as it tells me when the proc actually worked, then I can stack another hold. I like it.
  3. Pass. I think Nuke and recharge damage is fine where it is. Changing them would once again send them to the rash heep for me.
  4. I pretty much hide all that noise when playing. Unfortunately I can't for obvious reasons (on a support toon). 😞 Yes, please fix/revamp/enhance, etc. that area.
  5. I've seen plenty of high end builds that skip hasten and do just fine. It really depends on what type of build you're aiming for.
  6. I prefer Tri-Form. IOs make a hell of a lot of difference. I made both of mine high recharge and soloing with them is some of the easiest soloing in COH I've had to date. On teams they shine even more. I don't consider either to be hard to play, if you've got a even a bit of experience with more than 1 AT. If you're new to COH, different story. LOL
  7. I . . . don't remember them being tanky. At all. More like floating blasters that were squishy than blasters.
  8. With enough recharge you can still get out two at the same time. But it's a VERY high level of recharge needed. (Mine has 180% total recharge) Also for the thread, on live, I don't remember them ever being all that tanky, just floating fluff balls that blasteed.
  9. Pretty much why I stopped playing COV on Live for long stretches of time. That, the depressing atmosphere and the atrocity that was Grandville back on live. Thankfully alot of the memory leakiness seems to have been fixed since then via the work of the private servers for that zone. Either that or it's cause our computers got better. 😛
  10. This would effectively end my time playing on Homecoming. I bet for a lot of other folks also.
  11. You should be able to put in an exemption in McAfee for the site you download Mids from. I haven't done this in McAfee in ages, but pretty sure it exists. Also the other option is to temporarily turn off McAfee then turn it back on, after you download/use Mids.
  12. With that said after you have gone as far as you want in the Incarnate path, nothing wrong with converting them into Reward Merits and then those Reward Merits into enhancement converters and making some money, err inf on the market. It's what I do after I'm Tier 4'd out on my Incarnates. 🙂
  13. Lore wise it might get a bit confusing if they haven't left yet . . . but that doesn't seem like a large drawback to this suggestion. I say do it anyway. Consider this a bump.

  15. They could use the "master of" settings and just add rewards for them. Add a disable all set bonuses feature to that.
  16. This. I'm pretty much done with lower level content. I'd like to use my full EARNED abilities in content. Shape or call that however you like.
  17. They can create both stuff that is a level higher (aka, yes you do need to be more in line with where they need you to be when doing the later trails) and stuff that's more beginner like the BAF that can help unlock the early parts of incarnacy. (not sure if word) They can do both.

  20. Unfortunately some of those powers are absolutely useless for anything but mule slotting them or just getting them to get to the power you actually want. I'm not sure what can be done about that either.
  21. Honestly they would have to have been drastically more incarnate content at the start if we were told they could not have been used in regular level 50 content cause if not I would never have bothered with incarnates at all.
  22. As much as I'd like this I can imagine how much of a nightmare this would be to code. Based on past discussions with the live devs and HC devs here on these forums, that code related to pet mms is not straightforward at all. I seem to recall they had a hell of a time working on melee vs no melee for mm pets.
  23. I think the issue of player retention is a tricky one. What might keep one player (or drive another away), varies from player to player. It will take a careful balance of new stuff, fixes, and balancing things out. And folks have to realize that not everything they do will be something you like or currently want. For instance they just released two new story arcs. I don't really care for them after having played them, but that's fine. I'm glad they were made as there has been a drought of lower level content for years. I've been asking for more higher level content. Others may not feel that is as important as balancing. (To be clear I don't think balancing is more important that new content at all as I don't think there are nearly as many folks worried about that as the forums portray.) Bottom line is everyone won't always get what they want. Especially with the size of this team. And we need to keep our expectations realistic.
  24. I would be wary of the echo chamber of the forums. I've found when saying some of the opinions here in the forums in game, most times folks don't agree. Many folks aren't looking for the game to get any harder. It mainly seems to be something on the forums mostly.
  25. I'd be down with with this. It would make me play mms more. Between now and live I've only ever had 3 mms in my COH playtime. Sadge, as the kids say.
