  1. Hasten. I build in a way that I don't have to bother with Clarion. I've never actually selected that incarnate since being here on HC. On Live I took it on ONE character. If you build in a certain way it's not needed.
  2. TBH I'm fine with certain sets having certain powers and other not having them for the exact reasons you alluded to in the questions above. That's kinda the point of COH. We don't have the system the Champions Online has where you can pick any power from any set (the one that was in alpha here) so the only thing that adds variety is different powersets being able to do (and slot) different things. I'm fine with that.
  3. Something that the dev team we have doesn't have. For a game this age with the state that it's in (read could very easily be shut down tomorrow for good) I don't think it's a good use of time.
  4. This would be nice. 😀
  5. RIGHT?! It's like "dudes, we know, move on . . ." LOL
  6. THAT thing is LOOOOOONG . . . also BEWWWBS 😄
  7. Travel has never been an issue in COH. Back when the game was live, travel was nothing compared to WoW. Now with the game as a freebie, travel is nothing compared to a game like FFXIV Online (especially if you haven't unlocked a zone's aether crystal or flight points).
  8. And I'm completely fine with this. Live was dumb. But HAD to be cause it was a SUBSCRIPTION game. They had to keep you playing longer so how long it took to get things wasn't really an issue that they were going to budge on. For a now FREE game, yeah getting gear faster isn't really an issue. The HC devs seem to agree with all the market related changes they made to make it easier to get gear. I'm glad.
  9. Define "easily obtained". Even an LOTG recharge was 100 million or more on live. I don't think being able to slot even ONE of those is all too overpowering (granted now folks can slot multiple more easily). Purples going from 100 mil Or more to 20-25 mil isn't a bad thing. It means if you slot them it may make some content, like incarnate content a bit easier when you start on that path. Unlike Live, where it was more likely that most players would not have that option. (Especially since for MOST of the life of when the game was live Enhancement Converters didn't exist).
  10. Well you can . . . if you want your computer to slow to a crawl. (Unless you have 32 gig ram . . . 😈)
  11. The person who posted the suggestion STRONGLY suggested that those players should go to that server if it was built. Multiple times. As you mention 3) is all the reason why it was an EPICLY HORRIBAD idea.
  12. On the other hand I can say with 100% assurance that I DO F&^$king NOT miss how it was on live. The AH and economy on live were terribad. I'm sorry but 2bil (or more) for a pvp IO was just silly.
  13. Fireball, especially if you have the purple KD proc in it. After a footsomp it's sooooo satisfying. 😈
  14. The low levels are borring as watching spit dry on a sidewalk. I play some to 25, but mostly PL most to 50. At 50 IO them out and start the more exciting Incarnate Adventures. I've done the base game to death on live. NO thanks.
  15. Agreed with those who said they'd want the bugs and UI improvements first before this.
  16. An improved UI would be nice.
  17. Eh, just ask the leader or team if they would not mind running at a lower level.
  18. I wouldn't. The dev team we have is completely volunteer and not nearly the size of what we had on live, and such an endeavor would be an epic waste of time. They have so many other requests from this community that focusing on this would be an epic mistake. Balance one or two powers or sets (like they recently did with TW) with targeted nerfs or buffs. And eventually make the harder incarnate content folks have been asking for.
  19. The most relevant point in this thread. Also who the hell cares. We're here to have fun. If Mr. IO'd to the billions gills makes missions or tfs go faster, great. No issue.
  20. No thanks.
  21. Yeah I don't deal with advanced IOs until 50. Until then it's just common IOs, SOs and regular set IOs. I seriously doubt most players are dealing with ATOs until much later in their superhero/villian career. (The stalker one being the exception probably). EDIT: It would be an interesting thing to datamine.
  22. Yeah I've seen a couple of these builds now and .. . they just seem not fun to me. I don't like my damage relying on RNG. But that's just me. But yeah I can see WHY some folks love this AND why some are saying they are ridic. LOL
  23. Ughhh, is this even fun to play? That sounds very not so. (But I hate most things that involve RNG). I think I better go take a look at these builds as folks are continuously referencing Proc Monsters. Want to see what the actual fuss is about.
  24. I agree. I would leave both procs and defensive set bonuses alone for now.
  25. Hmmm, balance issues notwithstanding (cause you're right I can think of a few ideas that would outright break the game post 35 . . . well even more so LOL) but I think things LIKE the stalker one, would be great. It could change how some ATs play. One idea I always had was Corrupter ATO Damage to Heal for Scourge. Basically a percentage of scourge damage would come back to the Corrupter as a heal over time. The longer scourge goes the more potent the heal over time, to the point where it becomes an AOE heal for the team, and eventual adds an absorb shield to the Corrupter. Obviously it would help more in longer fights like AVs, for both the corrupter and their team. (This ofcourse sounds like a nightmare to code and possibly something game breaking as I type it. LMAO). But you get the idea. new ATOs that add uniqueness to ATs, or improve their inherent in some way, as you also mentioned.
