  1. Or better yet can we get a GM to lock this thread? I think the discussion ended pages ago when someone reminded me that the Devs have already said no to this.

  3. I've found badges to be supremely easier to get then some of the accolades. But I honestly have no dog in this fight. If HC says no, I'm not losing any sleep. lol As mentioned this came out of conversations in the thread below and others in game that had the claim that some or all parts of some accolades were to difficult to get.

Put the accolades in START to be purchasable for an extreme amount of inf (800 mill to 1 billion inf) Alternative: Put them as rewards behind the aether system for extreme amounts (I would prefer START and inf, but this may not fly with the HC devs). Third option if HC doesn't like the first two: Put them as rewards purchasable for an extreme amount of Merits. (And yes I know this suggestion is gonna get opposed by many lol) This suggestion comes out of a discussion in

  6. I would not be opposed either, but knowing HC (and probably would shake out that way in beta) it would probably cost a shit ton of inf. EDIT: Hmmmm, having all the accolades accessible via START for crazy amounts of inf (minimum 800 million to 1 billion) would be another great inf sink.

  9. Steam roller teams are steam roller teams because of all the judgements and nukes going off, and rotating destinys. Even without the +1 steam roller teams would still steam roll.

  11. The drop of the conversion was a definite nerf to how I used to get converters and I argued against it in beta. Obviously my opinion was drowned out. Lol

  13. The OP asked for it to be random. So you could get a common even. I’m fine with adding this option to Hami with it being random, like the OP said.

  15. So in other words things will start to happen faster in about 20 to 30 years. 😝 For the record I’m fine with HC’s pace. There are a few folks in this thread and past ones who say they are not.
  16. Also I’m still waiting to hear how we get Hc more resources that won’t cause NCSoft to pull the license. And more resources ARE needed if folks want the devs to move faster (not just on suggestions, but on any large increase in the pace of changes to the game). With the team we have we barely get two large updates a year. I can’t see changes happening any faster than that unless the funding for HC drastically increases.
  17. For the record I could give a rats behind about affirmation or folks loving what I post. I will however forever say that I like or don’t like a suggestion, point out ways to improve it, point out problems with it or offer alternatives. This is a forum. Folks are going to respond to what you post. if you don’t like it just put them in ignore. Also, even if your idea is hated by all who post that does not mean that it may never be implemented. As others have pointed out, the Devs implement things that they like or find interesting all the time. Keep in mind they may take your idea an implement it in a way that is different but fits with the technical needs of the game. Nothing wrong with that. And just because they don’t implement your idea in the next 365 days does not mean they never will.
  18. I think there ARE a few suggestions that folks have agreed with that should eventually make it into the game. My issue has always been with the weird expectation that it should be any faster than the manpower that the dev team has. I’m fine if a suggestion takes 3 years or more to make it into, as I keep a realistic perspective on what resources HC has . . . namely basically none. 18 devs is ridiculously small for a project of this size. But it is what it is unless NCSoft is willing to make this a for profit product again (LOL pipe dream).

  21. Slashing the prices of SOs to may 100 inf max each (no matter the level) is something I could get behind. I mean they are SOs. The merits cost reduction maybe. But would have to be done very carefully so as not to have any negative effects on the market or economy. The devs have repeatedly said they consider the Market/IO/crafting system as a part of the game.
  22. Well you CAN actually do this (raises hand) but then you have to play the market/converters equally as much as you play the game/farm. And you have to be prepared to take long breaks for the eventual burnout and play COH in bursts of weeks at a time, while playing other games. (also raises hand) 😛
  23. pretty much my response to folks in game who complain”I came to play a super hero game not a marketer” Me: “okay, great play the game and just use merits” Them: “it’s to sloowwww” Me: *clicks name and adds to ignore* I got no time for folks who choose not to try to solve their own self inflicted problems. mind you that convo above is usually I have told them the various ways to make inf like converters for example.
