Haven't tested these changes (as I plan to move my main from Regen Scrapper to Psi Armor Scrapper) but honestly, on live build, I would say build for resists over defenses and even with these nice changes, I would still think that. One just isn't going to be soft capping that defense easily and Tanker sets give good +Resist bonuses. Better to just build for slowing down incoming damage rather than avoiding it all together (which one can do with MoG).
  2. I'm not a fan of cones, but honestly, I wasn't having issues with Devour Psyche at all. It stacks (for the benefits) for like 10 stacks and they last for 45 seconds (you can see the icons even if the power doesn't say it). Fast moving solo, I had no issues with it and I never jumped around to get more targets, though, I would try to get them at good spots when running up to them. Pretty sure it's -100% Regen doesn't stack, but that's still -100% Regen for the tough targets, so that will help you on AVs and GMs when team or solo.
  3. Should be noted, this isn't that much of a DPS boost. It gives off a slightly bigger initial hit, if stealthed. It doesn't give continuous +damage. I likely wouldn't have gone the route of making it like ninjitsu with the critical attachment, but I was wondering if the idea came about due to Psylocke.
  4. Went with full set of Cupid's Crush myself. Also Tried 2 ACC/MEZ +3 HOs with 2 slot Cupid's Crush (one being the Confuse Proc) and one being the Purple Confuse Proc. Felt I did better with the Cupid's Crush set, with it's set bonuses (+3 S/L Resist and good +RCH Bonus)

True, but it has more than others and it has other features that, for me, that make up for it (Fear/Confuse/+Perception)...also while I hadn't fought Malta on my run (KW Warriors mostly) in tests, I would think what -Rec Protection is has it also has the +Recovery to help with the -Recovery. But hey, if it gets filled better, all the better 🙂
  6. Good post @BuildsAllTheThings I just want to say, the end drain issue you may have, I do feel would be the best theme weakness for Psi Armor. If it's one thing psychic superheroes are always doing is running out of end to keep using their psychic abilities at a sustained level. A little more thematic in theme than lethal weakness 🙂
  7. And why doesn't Mask Presence give AOE Defense when in the middle of combat? I'd honestly prefer the equal amount of Melee/Range/AOE defense over a Ninjitsu style Crit while in stealth.
  8. Oh, gonna suggest it again. Not saying do it for every power in the set, but can Impenetrable Mind get the MinFX treatment, please? Or a glowing eye alternate animation like Fade, if you must have an FX with it?
  9. I like how Dark Armor has it. Have to say, I get the annoyance of KB. However, players complaints on it on some armors are just bad imo. For instance, a defense based set like Ninjitsu should be fine without it. Don't get hit...don't get knocked back. Knockback protection. Yet, people will complain because they got KB once. Also, while I haven't done teaming, doesn't the power give -KB strength to the enemies, so it becomes more of a team support power?
  10. It's not much of an offensive boost either. However, I may have left it to a Ninjitsu style ability? Either or tho...I'm good either way. I'd rather lose that and get back the adaptive recharge 🙂
  11. Haven't completed but been using it as testing for Psi Armor...and whew...not saying change it, but wow...that ambush when set for 3/6 in the desecrate the altar mission...daaaaamn...that's rough...and I like it 🙂
  12. I'm up for Mask Presence to just give standard Defense like Dark Armor's stealth and give the set a Psi Proc like Brimstone. I'd say tack it on to Impenetrable Mind. AoI isn't really a damage aura (don't even notice the little damage it does on uneffected foes).
  13. And it's a much better stealth power. Oh and does Stalker get Hide to suppress AoI while hidden? Scrappers do not suppress AoI while stealthed.
  14. I was just curious on it, so did a pylon run test on beta and live and had a 7 second difference in time. Though, I was worried more about ST than my AOE, as I'm sure I (personally) can handle the changes there.
  15. Loving the set. The Toxic Resist is nice, it's not to high, but gives it a little leeway. Aura of Insanity still doesn't accept ATO sets. Memento Mori I'm not worried if it does damage or not, but the old heal felt a little more useful than it is now. As someone else stated, it becomes either used for just big groups or to raise from death.
  16. I miss the adaptive recharge. No real point of casting it with no enemies around, so the adaptive recharge was nice. Bigger heal, bigger recharge. Don't notice the removal of damage. Never used it for damage anyways. Didn't mind the accuracy check before, but auto hit with no damage seems fine.
  17. Oh, Toxic resist added. That'll be nice. Hmmm...I wasn't having issues with Memento Mori as it was, but will have to go around dying now to see how it is. 🙂 Or was it maybe powerful the other way?
  18. Exactly. I joined during the first Winter Lord event as well and stayed until shut down. They were not the same. Don't get why people say "It's not what I knew" when I think "Well yeah, it's an MMO" I love that they continue to update it. Do I like every update? Nope. Did I like every update back with Paragon Studios? Nope. Still pretty much about picking those right attacks and button smashing. 🙂
  19. Haven't felt a mission really taking longer. Though, was playing a scrapper.
  20. I don't know. I'm seeing take 2 steps forward, 1 step back and I think...still going forward. Also, doesn't seem so bad since the few times I've tried for the badge it took some serious time.

I will say, I didn't feel the lethal hole was as bad as others, but I do have the build with IOs (but I wasn't using any Destiny...so no Barrier). 2.5 - 3% Per Devour Psyche Buff (so Consume Psyche for the ATs I wasn't testing) could be enhanceable or not may be the way to do it as it wouldn't be just on one of the resist shield (not that I would be against it). Could be a lower Resist value on Psionic Shield or equal value on Impenetrable Mind (as I believe this power gives a small resist to Psychic...and Psychic and Toxic share the same IO bonuses usually).
