Maybe instead of recycling this same topic again next year, just reduce the length of the event back to a week or two as @Jimmysaid it was on live.

The issue I see with increasing the length would be that you would still have people asking for more space. Detailed character biographies are better left to something with a UI much better suited for it.

Very cool! More and more I find myself using the Interdimensional shard to combine with other objects to use as transports. I used rowboats on a lake for the dojo base I built. I am moving away from using the actual teleport devices. They are just too huge for my liking. Right now, I am working on one where the shards are placed in the cockpit of the jet plane vehicles.

I already had all the badges from last year. I was just adding that I felt the night for a month is not a big deal to me and I feel the event being run during daylight is odd. I will continue to voice my feedback on it so the powers that be can take it into account for next year. If that is ok with you of course?

I suppose we could say just deal with the night time for a couple of weeks and/or do indoor content during the event too. This is a no win situation for the Homecoming folk either way. With that, I would add that seeing people ToT'ing and doing banners and all during the daytime just looks odd. It does take something away from it to have it in the daytime.

I always looked at this as the CoT and Nemesis realizing they have no chance at ever winning against the heroes, so they just send in their second string players.

You could always stop joining PUGs and form your own teams. Just be sure to let others know ahead of time that no "exploits" will be used.

I have a Lantern Corps homage SG with the kids. We have all kinds of combinations of powers and ATs in there. Some of my personal favorites are Water/Rad Corruptor, Fire/Temporal Blaster, Psi Melee/Shield Tanker, Force Field/Energy Defender. Kids have red, yellow and blue lanterns. I have an idea for a Dominator that I will try as a Black Lantern. Force of Will works nice with the theme as well.

No idea to be honest. I was looking more at the synergy with regard to Dark Melee having built in -ToHit complimenting the defense from Ninjitsu. Someone smarter than me will know. Great question!

PvP was only a small part of it. This affects Master of TF runs as well. Others complain it ruins immersion for them. As it exists today, the slash command will be going away at some point, but not until a suitable replacement is put in place. From the various posts on the topic, it would appear they are maybe looking at an Oro portal type power that allows the portal to accept the various pass codes one may have for different bases. I would also add please continue to post and express your opinions. I agree with you in that it is important that opinions can be shared. Do not let others jump all over you and tell you what you think.

The UI for this does not play well with UHD screen resolution. The various settings are smashed together (see below). The in-game UI is super, super tiny when logging in. So small I am unable to use the mouse to select anything on it. Game is also incredibly laggy for me using the launcher. Via Tequila, it is perfectly fine.

Downloaded and installed the new launcher. When I log in, all of my characters are blacked out at the select screen (see below).

While this may be true, the meaning of the word gamer as it exists today defines anyone who plays any kind of game as a "gamer." There is no indication or connotation as to the amount of time invested, type of game etc.

Where is the difficulty in using the various chat channels for forming groups? Soft capped defense does not mean "never get hit".

Agreed. The only people making noise are those who want to force everyone to play the way they do rather than letting people have fun the way they like. I also find it funny that people will complain about a specialized 8 man team taking hours to defeat Hamidon when a full raid can effortlessly accomplish this in under 3 minutes.

Alternatively, you can find others who have a similar mindset and team up together.
