  1. Thanks. Now I have that theme song stuck in my head. ☹️
  2. Much like @Heraclea, I very lightly RP through a series of macros for my characters. Most are just little phrases here and there, like "Congrats!" or "Ready!" and a few colorful insults here and there. As an example, I have macros set up that translated into Japanese for my Ninja SG alts. My namesake has all sorts of conversational macros, all directed toward conversing with her pet Rikti monkey who always asks silly questions during combat for some strange reason.
  3. This might be interesting. Could give a new faction sets like Shield Defense which would make groups of them very interesting to fight.
  4. This is extremely encouraging to hear.
  5. It's Not Easy - Five for Fighting Not the best video quality, but a nice little video tribute to the man who will always be Superman to me.
  6. So long as it is designed specifically as team content like iTrials or TFs, I do not necessarily mind.
  7. Sorry, but that is simply not true. Post ED/GDN/target caps sets like Kinetics and Radiation Emission far, far outclassed and were much more desired on teams than a set like Empathy or Force Fields, much like today. Scrappers, tanks and Brutes could solo content designed for teams far, far more easily than a Defender or Corruptor or Dominator.
  8. I would say StrJ/Nin scrapper. Ninjitsu makes more sense in that he was trained by Stick who used to be part of the Hand, who are ninjas. Also because of his ability to heal himself faster than normal. Speaking of Daredevil, I always thought the game could use a clubs/escrima type melee set. Could start by porting over several animations from dual blades and staff fighting.
  9. If these were all PUGs, what do you expect?
  10. When has this ever not been the case?
  11. To be honest, I do not see Homecoming allowing discussions on whether politics or religion or other "hot topics" will be allowed to go into the CoC. Nor should they in my opinion.
  12. Unless this is taking place on a privately created channel, then people cannot silence others on a public "official" game channel. Should anyone see something in public chat that they believe violates the rules then they should use the in-game petition system and have a GM look into it, or use the ignore feature.
  13. I will preface with there are a number of things in the CoC that I disagree with. Most rules I agree with while others I find utterly absurd. With that said, in my opinion these servers are ultimately the responsibility of the Homecoming staff and it is for them to decide what the rules should be. We all have the choice to either accept and abide by them or not and should we choose not to, we have to accept the consequences. If you do not like the rules here, there are other servers to try.
  14. Except the TF did take (a lot) less time with debuffers than without.
  15. Except without debuffs it takes longer. That is the point I was making. A team can do a lot of damage quickly or a lot of damage over a long time. Made perfect sense to me.
  16. Alternatively this could also be accomplished by adding power set customization into things like punch and kick in the fighting pool.
  17. I could be wrong but I believe this may have more to do with being stuck in an attack animation when needing to click a heal. Other sets do not need to worry about this as much as regen does.
  18. My point was fairly obvious. As I said, the Reichsman fight can be a long, drawn out slog or not depending on what debuffs are used. I said nothing about survival. My thought was more about debuffs supporting a faster encounter time and more efficienct battle than just raw damage, but feel free to look at it however you like.
  19. Well sure, but that was not really the point of my post. I was simply pointing out that damage is not the only metric to be concerned about.
  20. Keep in mind that Defenders and Corruptors are more than damage dealers. Both are effective where debuffs are concerned. Those debuffs can make a big difference in AV fights, especially in TFs like Kahn. Reichsman can be a huge, long winded slog or not depending on what kind of debuffs your team has.
  21. I agree with Bill here. I can only speak to the melee version as I have not tried the Sentinel version. The melee version needs a complete overhaul in my opinion. The nerf pendulum swung much too far on this set over the years. Far too reliant on clicks for survival and in my own personal experience far, far outclassed by other sets at the end game level. Turning IH back into a toggle would be a good start.
  22. I would prefer Mako's Spirit Sharks with frickin laser beams attached the their heads.
  23. Excellent advice which unfortunately most do not seem to follow or want to follow.
  24. I did not say removing IOs would not be noticeable, just that it would not be as big a change as some might think. As an example, you could softcap defense before there were IOs on melee ATs and Cardiac pretty much eliminates END issues in the late game.
